I'm currently enjoying Dash for reddit, it got elements from slide, boost and relay.
It has been out for a little over a week, and is pretty feature rich for a beta, and the developer is very responsive and is listening to feedback over at /r/dashforreddit

While I am too lazy to write much, but launchers are basically your "desktop". Each phone has its own style, but downloadable ones are available too. Most would agree Nova launcher is the best, and I agree. I use it on all of my phones
For example, imagine that the Macbook desktop can be made to function and look exactly like that if Windows 10. The programs remain the same, same goes for apps. But the desktop and how you interact with it is what changes.
If you want to choose a reddit app, my personal fave is Dash
>* Dash 5.52MB New reddit client with lots of features and responsive dev. Suports multis, theme, "My Random", notification badge on the corner of app icon in any launcher,, timestamp in YT, data saving mode, etc. Dev is responsive and active on /r/dashforreddit.
It's ok. In the end it is a bad copy of Relay for Reddit.
I used to switch between Relay, Sync and Boost. Then Dash for reddit came along and it did combine a lot of the individual features I like about the other three.
Now I'm switching between four apps ...
Dash New reddit client with lots of features and responsive dev. Suports multis, theme, "My Random", upvote percentage, notification badge on the corner of app icon in any launcher, better subreddit picker, mark posts as read on scroll, allow YouTube to ignore rotation, choose notification color for LED, mixed sorting of subreddits and multireddit, etc. Dev is responsive and active on /r/dashforreddit. I see great potential in this app.
EveryWiki Lightweight alternative to official Wikipedia client. Supports history, nearly all wiki sites, saved articles, beautiful material design.
FairNote New note taking app with labels, folders and material design.
Flynx My favourite bubble browser because it has article mode where blocks ads and images.
KISS launcher Minimalist launcher which is light on resources, battery. It gets better as you keep using it.
Slimperience Alternative to Naked browser but the UI isn't shit.
List made using List My Apps
Dash Suports multis, theme, "My Random", upvote percentage, notification badge on the corner of app icon in any launcher, better subreddit picker, mark posts as read on scroll, allow YouTube to ignore rotation, choose notification color for LED, mixed sorting of subreddits and multireddit, etc. It also got a big update yesterday. Dev /u/rikardo_92 is responsive and active on /r/dashforreddit

What Reddit app did you pick?
On Android the choice can be overwhelming since there are just so many excellent ones - far more than on iOS.
Some good ones:
What podcast app did you pick?
Most people love Pocket Casts and for very good reason.
If you read a lot of different tech and gaming sites, maybe look into an RSS reader like Feedly or Palabre.
You don't always have to use the official apps of the big players either, there are excellent alternative for Facebook and Twitter for example.
Have you picked and ad-blocker? You won't find global ad-blockers on the play store but there are some fantastic solutions out there for Android.
If you're not rooted and are willing to pay for a license, you can't get better than Adguard in my eyes. It doesn't require root and offers brilliant filter lists and incredibly powerful controls over the content you are going or not going to see in just about any installed app. It also doubles as a firewall.
If you have root and want a simple, free set and forget and maybe it will let some ads through solution, grab AdAway from F-Droid.
Oh, and get F-Droid for those geeky, open source off the Play Store projects. There are some solid alternative Youtube clients for example.
I'm using Dash for reddit. What's the advantage of using reddit in web browser instead of third party app?
App Android Dash for reddit
Boost is good, but Dash is perfect.
You forgot dash for reddit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kakai.reddit.dash&hl=en
I have installed this app because it uses less resources and reading comments is easier in it.
Dash is my fave client

You can change the layout from card to the one in Reddit is Fun in settings
The biggest change will be adjusting to fb messenger/sms app because there is no imessage equivalent on android. Battery life is better on iPhone because Apple has a strict policy regarding battery heavy apps. App quality is better on iOS but Android has more apps to choose from.
Rooting gives you more freedom to customize and install other ROMs of your choice. You can install Adaway, YouTube Adaway xposed module (adblockers), third party replacements for your favourite site, launchers, themes, etc. Xposed framework is the android equivalent of Cydia. It has many modules to choose from. Browse /r/xposed for more info.
Xposed may break Android Pay
Swipeback2 will give you iPhone gestures to go back.
Launchers are like desktop from your PC. You can download third party apps to change the look and for more customization such as themes, gestures, pop-up widget, etc. Nova launcher is popular over here but I love Smart Launcher 3. It's easy to setup, user friendly for iPhone users, has many other features but uses less resource compared to Nova.
Android has many reddit clients and they are better than what iOS has to offer. What client is the best will depend on your taste and I cannot tell you which would be suitable for you. My favourite is Dash for reddit but Relay for reddit is my backup app.
List of apps: Dash for reddit, Relay for reddit, Slide for reddit and Now for reddit. Try all of these and keep using the one you like.
DO NOT INSTALL ANY APPS BY CHEETAH MOBILE
Install what this sub, /r/android and /r/androidapps recommends.
Do not install "RAM boosters", "Anti virus apps " or any apk from shady website. You don't need those if you use common sense.
You have alternatives to play store such as Fdroid market, apkmirror, apkpure and xda forums. These are the only alternatives which I trust.
I hope this answered your questions!
I discovered Dash yesterday and it's my new favourite Reddit app. Before that I used Boost, Relay, and Sync.

Dash for reddit if you are on Android
Have you tried Dash for reddit?
You may like this
They open fine in Dash too.
Every Reddit app I've tried recently let's you configure how much data it uses. I love Dash, but Boost and Sync are nice too.
Is that available on android?
I've bought RiF, Boost, Relay, Slide, Sync and Dash, but Dash is my all time favorite. Very beautiful UI with great attention to detail.
I'm not on mobile right now but here is the link to the app. List view is the most information density.
I know most of you know it already, but I'm gonna recommend Dash for reddit beta again. It looks fantastic and is a great joy to use.
The fact that David Brady, developer of Relay for Reddit, left Dash a 1-star review (what a nice thing of him to do), makes me wanna promote it even harder.
Edit: Aaand here the Relay fans come and downvote this to hell.
