These are some extra features it has:

- Search bar with rounded corners in dock and drawer
- Search engine customization for search bar (for people who don't have Google apps or just like other search engines)
- Nova level customisation
- Custom keyword/action recognition (for example say "open calendar" and start calendar app, this features will coming with next version)
- Battery saver mode
- You can lock apps and folders with fingerprint/password
- Home button (also with long press) gesture
- Proximity gesture (gesture activated by the proximity sensor)
- Icon mask (rounded, square, square rounded)
- Dots notification (with all customization like color and alignment)
- Dynamic color (homescreen text labels and drawer text labels change color according to the background you choose along with search bar and scrollbars)
- Possibility to choose what notification your device shows
The free version has most of these, try it out for yourself then you can decide weather to buy or not Flick Launcher
If I had to talk about cons, I'd say it's still in development so you may still find bugs or some crashes, but I know the dev and he's always very quick to update.
It isn't in the F-Droid repositories, afaik. It's in alpha state in the Play Store, but it's more stable than OpenLauncher. You can download it using the Yalp Store app.

I've been using Flick Launcher for a about a week now and it's awesome! It gives a similar feel to the Pixel launcher with loads more customization.

Bottom: custom circles widget moved into the dock
Hey, that's totally fair, although I imagine that makes finding a good launcher a bit hard. My recommendation goes to Flick Launcher - if you like it then purchase pro to support the dev, he's done a good job IMO.
