Get Frep to roll your boxes, I absolutely refuse to roll 40+ boxes. I did like 10 at Christmas and wanted to quit before I just got Frep.
I think this is a genius idea. I found an app that works for Android.
It requires a computer to install some files via command line/terminal, but it doesn't need root access. Most other Android apps require root access for control like this.
I tested it with simple menu commands and it works great. I'll update when I'm able to test with pokeballs.
EDIT: Full Field Report
This works! I'll do a field report at lunch with screenshots (maybe make a new post?) Initial downsides: need multiple recordings for throws (near, medium or far) and it may not fully solve curveball issues.
Do what many of us did during Christmas and install an app on your phone that just repeats your clicks automatically, so you can just tap on one lottery and then have it repeat itself to infinity. For android, one good app is Frep.
If you use Android get Frep. Roll your boxes while you do other things, you just have to check back every 2-3 minutes to reset the box.
For android, I used FRep earlier in the year for the 2017 Nerofest JP. No root needed but you need to turn on USB debugging so make sure you close out of FGO completely else you'll get a bunch of crash report email reports.
FRep (Finger Replayer) is an auto clicker/wrist saver for Android.
If your device isn't rooted make sure you read and follow the extra setup steps in the instructions.
I used frep to automate clicking the "wait" button and eating when I get hungry. Also, I'm wearing a +12 ring of wealth. I have modified the script since I uploaded it awhile back, but the original should work okay, once you change the hero image, provided you have enough chargrilled monster meat.
IIRC, I had about 1,000 chargrilled monster meats coming in, and I now have a little over 3,800, and over 400 of each kind of mushroom.
Frep for android is what i use, earth shrine in about 45 sec or so and i can kill mobs in exploration pretty quick.

u dont have to root but every time you close the app it will require you to use a computer and run a quick CMD. which can get annoying..
i bought the prem version for a cpl dollars which allows me to still run while talking on my bluetooth and wont stop if i accidently touch the screen.
FRep - Finger Replayer sounds like what you're looking for.
You can automate macros (such as the one you've said) to simulate user interactions. You can have it do the long-press after 5s, every 5s, or whenever something shows up in a certain part of the screen.
Macros can be created by recording your own actions on the screen, or programmer style (with loops, conditions and stuff). If you're not rooted you'll have to use your computer to initialise the app after every reboot, if you're rooted skip that.
It's been a long time since this, but some years ago when I played Disney Tsum Tsum, the same issue existed, where we had to manually send coins to friends (and it was worse for that game because you could send multiple times a day), so for that we used an app called Frep where you can record a sequence of inputs and repeat it in a loop. It worked for that game, so I imagine it would also work for this one.

frep is just one example many other root apps use an initial adb command to activate if running without root and reset upon reboot, thought it was a constraint of adb commands

Worked flawlessly non-rooted last time I used it. You can record your macros with actual touches and fine tune the delays between touches using the macro editor.
I see you're on Android, have you considered using FREp?
I made a macro to take photos for me so I can get Smeargle daily while just chilling at my desk.
It's slightly slower than aggressively grinding it like you did, but you could totally just leave it on overnight and wake up to thousands of photos. I also assume you weren't backing out after each one, like you have to do for Smeargle. FREp can easily just smash the camera button 100+ times in a row, then even exit out and restart for good measure/app performance.

Thank You human.
I only rolled 8 of them. Now I'm on full Farming mode. Box opening during the last days of a lottery event? Ain't nobody got time for dat! :P
In any case, rejoice! There are several apps out there that can alleviate that pain for you. For Android there is Frep , which essentially records your finger presses and just repeats them to infinity. Which means you only roll one box, and let the app do the rest of the box rolling for you.
I use FRep—an android macro app—to macro directly on my phone with root access which is not necessary (giving root permissions)
Technically with root, I can copy some of the games files containing access to my save data and transfer them to another device or even an emulator without the need to link to FB, while I have not done so, I have backed them up for emergencies but still have never played on any other device, just the one

You could always record a macro with FRep - Finger Replayer
>FRep is Finger Record/Replay App. Once you record the routine operation, you can replay it by single trigger. Your own automatic operation button will be easily created.
That should not be a problem, there is a website hosting instructions and macros - https://www.ffbemacro.com/. But I am not using that. I have recently installed https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.x0.strai.frep (and I've paid it to be fully functional). Then I've just recorded a macro doing one loop of Earth Shrine farming. This one has no NRG refresh and is just simply doing it in a loop. Setting Frep repeater is more complicated than macro on Nox, but it runs much better for me and doesn't crash out of nowhere. Maybe I will make a video on how to do it, if I don't forget. EDIT: To use Frep, you will need to connect your mobile to PC via USB and run their script to activate Frep service on your mobile. This is required in order to use it without ROOT-ing the device. Once its activated, you can freely use Frep until mobile restart or application update.
I TM farm with FRep - Android, works pretty good and cost just under $5 CAD. Demo only allows you to record something like 3 presses.
No root needed, but you do need a PC to get it going.
FRep is a macro app that allows you to macro non-root, but it requires USB Debugging and a USB connection to a PC to set up, and also requires the PC again if your Android device is turned off or restarted. You also need to download the tools on your PC to set up the server.
Another thing to bear in mind is that as a free user of FRep, you're limited to three macros, although for TM farming that's more than plenty.
I recommend you to start using an app called FRep. It allows you to record and create touch patterns.
Basically I will leave the game running, charger connected and this app holds the hatch button for me, then waits and then starts again, indefinitely.

Phone doesn't have to be rooted but does need to be connected to computer to turn on development options. You get 3 gestures saved with the free version or as many as you want with the unlocked one.
I've been using this for about a month now for all my throws. Takes a little trial and error to get your best throws recorded, but helps a lot to be able to throw one handed while on the go. I am usually pushing one of my kids in a stroller so saves me a lot of stop and start time.
FREP is the app I use to cheat at the various 'rapid tap' games. No reason why it couldn't be used to record a swipe instead of a tap, but I suppose half the fun here is engineering the thing.
No. I spent about 1000 diamonds. It's just a silly saying derived from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkpS2Sdu2io
And diamonds aren't too hard to some by when I have an autoclicker and double fairy event. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.x0.strai.frep&hl=en
Not for the in-built Samsung one obviously,
see the link to the FFBraveExvius subreddit : where someone suggests a program called FREPs over at this link for unrooted/root-less

frep works well for me, is free, but doesn't look the best. Also requires root
Have you looked into FRep? It might be easier and more reliable than Tasker.
currently i am using an app called frep u can try it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.x0.strai.frep&hl=en
If you're using android; I recommend frep. It can take action based on images or sections of images.
I use FRep
Requires Android 2.3.3+ according to their FAQ
Then there's also:

F Rep combined with Macrodroid
I use FRep. It's a little complicated and more of a macro/automation system, though. Link to Google Store
Try Frep: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.x0.strai.frep
I'm using it in lot of idle games
The mobile snake is held in place by frep screen touch recorder, pre programmed set of coordinates and cannot protect itself.
Found a way to replicate the old auto-hatch feature.

(See http://strai.x0.com/frep/device-specific-info.html for device help like Xiaomi phones need 1 additional setting)
Somebody mentioned Frep but I'm personally a bit hesitant to use any autoclicker.
Ah, sorry I think Frep is android only.
I've been using [Genymotion][Genymotion] of late. It works pretty damn well, runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, and is made by a company that aims its products mostly at professional app development/testing. It's very clean and highly configurable, though, most configuration options are hidden in the underlying VirtualBox rather than Genymotion itself (graphics acceleration was turned off for me by default, for example).
Still, it's not really difficult to configure (VirtualBox comes with an GUI too in case one doesn't like to mess with config files), and the android images installed are free of ads or bloatware and, best of all, fully rooted by default, which means powerful macro tools like [FRep][FRep] work simply by downloading them from the PlayStore. No fiddling with external setup procedures, unverified app packages, third party tools from sketchy forums, and so on.
Oh, and I know it doesn't look that way when you visit their website as they really only talk about commercial plans, but you can just create an account for free, and use the "personal use" license, which is just a button you click when starting the application. It stops you from using some advanced features (like GPS simulation), but it doesn't interfere with anything you would need to run apps and interact with them. They are just doing a really bad job at telling people that there is a free version of their emulator available, mostly, I'd wager, because random people trying to play games on an emulator are not their target audience.
[Bluestacks][Bluestacks] also works quite well, but it's rather bloat-y as it comes with a custom UI that spams you with ads and app "suggestions," and it needs to be rooted by third party tools if you want to use FRep or the likes.
As far as I can tell, performance is fine on either emulator and both seem to be mostly crash free (at least for me). And yes, I like mentioning emulators beyond the usual Nox/Memu because there is more out there, and Genymotion, at this point, seems to be by far the superior solution available.
