Run an app through an amp. For the transducer, you're on your own, but you could start with an old speaker with a disc of cardboard glued partway down the cone.
Hear a certain sound?
Have you tried smartphone apps like a sound generator or a waveform generator where you can have your phone play a sound of any pitch?

There's a ton of similar apps.
This is the best one i've used.

It can generate two signals at the same time, modulate either frequency or amplitude, and allows for custom sweep ranges as well (which is GREAT when testing a crossover)
You may even be able to use your cellphone

Just use a frequency generator. Like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keuwl.functiongenerator . Hint: to generate overtones you need to add a 2nd frequency.
