You should get a cessation app for your phone. I have one called Get Rich or Die Smoking. (Android)
You start by entering the cost of a pack of your favorite smokes, how many you smoke per day, and the last time you had one. It then tracks how much money you've saved, how much tar/nicotine you've not inhaled, health milestones you've reached, etc.
There's been many times I've curbed an urge by looking at this app and being reminded what I've accomplished.
Here's my stats:
Last smoke: July 5th, 2016 (148 days, 20hrs ago)
Cigs not smoked: 1488 (~74 packs)
Cigs of relapses: 0
$$$ Saved: $427.93
Time Saved: 4d 3h 13m
Nicotine Not Inhaled: 1g 636mg
Tar Not Inhaled: 20g 832mg
Good luck! You can do it!
The want to quit will help you so much more than anyone telling you to. You've got that now, so it's a huge step.
Everyone is different, but I found it useful to track how much I was saving once I quit.
I used this app, but I'm sure there are others. It tracks how much you used to smoke and how much they cost, and shows you a running total of how much you have saved. Every time I felt the itch to have one, I'd look up how much I had saved so far and find something online I could now afford that I couldn't before.
An american holiday was fully paid for in only a few months!
Yep. I was on and off the vaporizer for a while. I stopped using it because it was a pain in the ass, and wasn't really saving me any money (and certainly not any effort).
I also tried setting goals for number of cigarettes per day or whatever. That didn't work for me either, I would just skirt my own rules. The only way I could get off nicotine was to deny myself entirely, and so far that's working.
To keep myself motivated, I'm using the Wishlist feature of Get Rich or Die Smoking. Basically, every cigarette I don't smoke is a step towards a fun new toy (also helps to keep me from spending too much money on fun new toys).

This helped me immensely to give up nicotine. I just went cold turkey for ten days eight odd years later... I'm getting rich 😉
This is the one that did it for me. Good luck!

It shows you the health benefits for various time based milestones and includes a progress bar for reaching the next milestone. It was those damn progress bars that kept from ever lighting up again....it was a real concrete visual reminder of how much I would loose by having to start over again. It's been eight years for me :-)
Boas.
Funcionou bem comigo.
boa sorte!
