I've updated my fluid simulation app Magic Fluids with GPU-based animation, that adds a lot of visual detail. For strong devices it means that the fluid may be simulated with resolution similar to the screen resolution (read: sharp, crisp and realistic).
[nerd-mode]This concerns the resolution of the paint/color/this-thing-that-is-visualized. The underlying velocity field is the same as it was before[\nerd-mode]
Magic Fluids is useless. And a lot of fun.
Subscribe to keep up with updates - GPU-based simulation coming soon.
Magic Fluids looks great on the OLED screen. And you can max out the settings without any frames dropping:

The new League of Legends: Wild Rift game plays at 120 frames per second, if you enable it in League's options, and looks freaking fantastic.
Buy a cheap little bluetooth keyboard and turn your tablet into a laptop replacement. The Logitech K380 is working really well for my use cases.

You can also use Magic Fluids, it allows me to set the wallpaper for each screen (inner and outer) as well as both the lock screens. Here is my wallpaper as an example:
I am using the free version (Lite):

Another similar one but uses a bit more cpu/batt

Enjoy!
If you like that wallpaper there is a live wallpaper that has a trippy effect but when you touch the screen called Magic Fluids Free
Oh ok sorry my bad, I've had an app similar to this at one point and just assumed that since they look exactly the same they must be the same app, obviously a stupid assumption to make.
Edit: Here's the link, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magicfluids.demo
If you could figure it out, please share here as well. Thank you.
My main display I'm using this currently and it's amazing as well, anyone like could try...

Oh, that's true - I've definitely had times where I would say to myself "I passed this bookcase 20 mins ago, I'm going to look at the dust in the corners. Oh, there's that splinter that's always been there".
And sometimes it's like there's this awesome thing I want to do, but the time isn't right and I have other pressing matters that I want to ignore.
I feel ya now. :/
Oh, fwiw, this app is a good time killer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magicfluids.demo&hl=en
