For the two sliders if you swipe all the way down then click edit as if you are editing your quick settings there's a 3dot menu on the top right where you can enable various options and sliders.
For the dark mode I am using this theme called pixel dark. I got it on the play store. I've been using it for a while and love it. I like it a lot more than the white theme that's default
Make sure to take the film off of the finger print scanner.
Enable HiFi in sound settings, I believe default is off for some reason. Only works via wired headphones (idk your level of knowledge on this, so don't get irritated if you already know that).
Leave the film on over the camera.
LG's skin isn't trash this time around, and there are themes for the V20 on play store that changes look of UI, including dialer, settings, messaging, file manager, music player and icons. If you use Nova or other launcher, it'll will deal with home screen icons, but the rest will still take advantage of the themes. I like this one, and the screenshots they show are an example of what themes change. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ngocgiap.lgtheme.pixel
I'd suggest a case to help keep the camera lens on the back from making contact with any hard surface, since some people have had issues with it cracking. https://youtu.be/nBlUL-7Dl4U
Also suggested Gboard, but that is user preference, LG's keyboard isn't horrible, but I found its auto correct to be lacking.
Pixel Dark Theme if you prefer a more vanilla UI to LG's Skin. I love it because I switch between the G6 and the pixel on almost a weekly basis and the experience stays mostly consistent.
I'm using the G6 coming from the S7. I love it so far, but I'm not a fan of the UI. So I downloaded the pixel launcher from APKMirror, and installed this theme from the Play Store:

For all intents and purposes, I now have a waterproof pixel XL with a bigger screen. :)
Coming from the nexus 5x i understand her problem. I really like nova launcher and I've bought a theme to make it look even more like stock. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ngocgiap.lgtheme.pixel
Not sure about notifications, but I use this theme and I like it a lot. It sticks to grey and white as opposed to the pixel-esque theme you linked in the post, which uses blue in the quick settings menu.
Yes, that's definitely a theme or launcher and theme. Go to settings>home screen>select home>"home" or "home & app drawer" (which ever is your preference)
Then go to settings>theme>LG for the stock UI (stock colors and icons). There's two others that come pre-installed, "Black Bold" and "High Contrast". Any others were downloaded from play store.
The one that u/zibebo recommended looks great, I use Pixel Dark theme https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ngocgiap.lgtheme.pixel
Pixel dark theme, it costs €1.59 but makes my phone look way more like stock. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ngocgiap.lgtheme.pixel
Seems to be this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ngocgiap.lgtheme.pixel&hl=de

I'm bored, so I thought I'd make a small guide to how I set up 'dark mode' on my V20 without the need for Android 10.
First of all, I use the Pixel Dark theme for v20.
I'm also using Nova Launcher with the dark theme and a Pixel icon pack.
Dark Mode is an app which will enable dark mode on various apps such as Instagram.
Some Google apps such as Chrome, Play Store, Keep notes, Calculator, etc, have toggles for dark mode which have to be enabled in their settings.
To enable dark mode on the Google search app, I had to sign up for the Beta version on the playstore. Next time I rebooted my phone, the option to enable dark mode appeared in the app's settings page.
The keyboard I use is Google Keyboard with a dark theme.
I hope this was useful for someone :)
I think it's a theme called pixel dark.

Used Pixel 2 Black Theme for LG V30 & G6 but just switched to Pixel Black Theme for LG V30 V20 G6 G5 from the same dev and liking it even more, especially because my homescreen is using the Whicons icon pack with Nova Launcher Prime. Also looking at Pixel 2 Black Theme for LG V30 & G6
I use the Pixel Dark Theme
I use Nova Launcher and the LG Pixel Dark theme and don't have this problem.
Have you tried this theme? It's not half bad.
I use Pixel Dark theme
