This one? Wowza! Don't run that fucking thing if you are epileptic! Christ, I'm not and I almost had a seizure when that fired up!
Says you need to run it for 8 hours (ouch) so I'll give it a shot tonight.
Thanks a ton for the tip amigo!
Have you tried those apps that promise to fix it. They worked on mine, just leave them running over night and the burn in will be gone.

This had happened to me. Easy fix. It's called screen burn in, but it can be cleared. Run this program overnight.
This can happen on any device with a screen, it's not exclusive to this device.

Try this or one of the many similar tools. Burn-Ins are actually a thing on AMOLED displays, but usually you can fix it to some degree with apps like this.
I do get screen ghosting sometimes, but thats because my phone is screen on idle charging for a long long time. It is easily fixed with running a screen fix app within 30 mins every time so far.
this- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blasterbyte.burn_infix
its free and has worked every time for me.
edit - after reading reviews it doesnt work for everyone, but I guess screens and devices are different. but my AT&T LG G6 gets fixed every time
Thank you! I have found something strange: When using a "screen fixer" app, the burn in is immediately gone. The app I used is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blasterbyte.burn_infix
As soon as I close the app or even tap on the screen and the notification bar appears, the burned in icons are back. Is this normal behaviour? I would guess that the burn ins should still be visible when the app is run.
I got bad screen burn playing a game and found this. It had helped a lot. I let it run for a couple hours each night while I'm sleeping.

I have a S7 that has mad burn-in/retention.. sucks, but all my Samsung phones end up with it :/ not sure if my keeping the brightness at 100% all of the time has something to do with it. Give this burn in tool a shot and see if it helps.

Fixing actual AMOLED burn-in might be iffy, but resetting an LCD with ghosting should work fine. LCD's can't really burn in as such.
Check this out. Used it before and worked perfectly.

Install either of these... The first has a scheduler, which is nice, I havent used it but the second is the one I use...

or

With the second, use the digital color setting.
Let them run overnight.
Then, use this app...
Battery Extender Go - Full Free by Rex Software Inc. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rexyazilim.batteryextendergo&hl=en
The battery extender app, after configuring, will add a permanent notification. When you swipe your notifications down with tap titans open, then tap the notification, it will turn the display completely off without closing the game. Tapping the screen will bring the display back on, and any playing audio will continue to play.
This app is great for things like Youtube where you might just want to listen to the audio without keeping the screen on (for the purpose of making the battery last longer). This app is merely turning the brightness down to the minimum possible setting, which is not available in the settings, but it is to the app, which ends up being pure black. It literally will look like your display is off.
There is one caveat with the battery app, if you have a split display where things like the clock and your notifications stay lit even with the screen off, this part of the screen will be off as well when you have the app hiding the screen.

Worked for me when I played mobile games for long hours and got some buttons stuck on my screen
Thanks! I'll look into that.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blasterbyte.burn_infix this app solved it for a while
I've used screen burn in tool before. It only really works if it's just a little burn in, not massive amounts. It is worth a go though: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blasterbyte.burn_infix
