All apps work if you use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phascinate.lgv10.dacfix
I made it myself. It works perfectly and makes literally any app work with the DAC. Loving this phone!
And if you use this app, you can change what the up volume shortcut does. You can't do it with the down volume, that will always be to the camera. But it's better than nothing.
Why not use Amazon? The seller 'Prime Gadget' has a battery with spare cradle for $39 and has express shipping. (Or free if you have Amazon Prime) I'm on mobile so let me grab a link real quick.
EDIT: Here's the link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016Q6M874/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_8M8hxbDXJCVDG
The Moto 360 should work for the phone
Nova launcher works, I'm using prime atm
Love the second screen, use it regularly and can be turned off,
Beating the phone? Hmm. I've had mines for a little over a month and haven't had any signs of scratches, dents or anything. I did drop it once, chest height, but no physical damages, phone still worked flawlessly
T-Mobile has handset protection, and will repair it for any water rated, broken screen, etc. Pretty much anything
I'm not sure about turbocharging, never heard of it. But the phone comes with a cable and adapter that has the quick charge enabled. If the turbocharging says anything about Qualcomm quick charge 2.0, then you can use it with full advantage with the phone.
The finger print scanner works well but needs a software update to fix bugs, case problems, latency issues people are facing. At&t already released an update to fix that, now it's for the other carriers to do so.
I don't use HiFi Dac often but when I do, I notice a tremendous difference with my headphones. It reminds me of surround sound when listening to it. Though not all apps support it yet. There's a thread on xda showing which apps do and don't support it. Spotify doesn't:(
A case I would suggest is this one on amazon I love it as it sticks to the cool looking back and has good grip and protection while keeping it slim and comfortable to hold.
You could always use a different keyboard, if you're not attached to the VZW one. I would recommend Gboard (Google Keyboard) or Swiftkey. These both have better autocorrect functionality. Also, I know that Gboard allows you to disable the automatic word replacement feature. Swiftkey surely also has a similar option.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey
Treat your headphone jack gently. I just had to return my first V10 because simply touching the plug end of the headphone cable would pause music and disable the hifi DAC. Others have had the same issue.
Oh, and install this.
I'll try some tape maybe. The headphones are pretty good considering the price, they sound a bit better than my audio technica earbuds.
These are them on amazon.

Had it for about a year and a half. No bootloop, no headphone jack issue (I use it a few times a week), battery life has always been good for me but I'm not on my phone much. Usually at around 50% when I get home from work if I don't have IFTTT running. I like the second screen for time, and controlling media. I got a thin flip case with wireless charging that works well enough but sometimes doesn't charge right so I find myself plugging it in just to be safe. Quick charge is great (and probably standard on all phones by now). I'm always surprised when I do need to charge it mid-day or before going out and seeing how fast it jumps up. One handed mode of the whole OS is a fun novelty that I show off but rarely use, same with Dual Window. I do like the soft home button, which allows for some customization like button order (I prefer back on the right of home). Finger print reader works pretty well, never noticed OS slowdown and always felt snappy. Love the IR blaster, removable battery, and microSD.
I would recommend it to someone if they don't mind the risk of a bootloop, meaning they get a pretty good deal on it. I've always been a big fan of the LG line of phones and am unsure what I would get if it wasn't a v10 but in the same price range. My wife got a Moto G4 a year ago and I see Amazon now has a Moto G Plus 5, 32GB unlocked for $185. Not as premium of a phone as the V10 but pretty good.
I use Naked Browser pro. Takes some time to get used to, but definitely the fastest browser I've found. It's a stripped down version of Chrome. Try out the free version, no ads

Download this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phascinate.lgv10.dacfix
You can enable and disable it. It'll allow it to work on ALL apps, not just the stock music player and a few other random apps. Anyway, even with Spotify (extreme quality) you can get some great sound out of this phone.
That's the point I"m currently at and am trying to get away from it. I have a Nova Launcher gesture where I can launch Voice Search, but didn't want to have something I couldn't customize.
JACKPOT! As I was typing this message I got sidetracked and did another search. This one was great and I found a solution! <strong>Home Button Launcher</strong> was recommended by this blog that came up on my search and it does just what I need!
You can have a multitude of apps if you prefer, or if you have only one app, you can set it to auto launch in the settings.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.equalizer
This equalizer app has a volume booster. I have bee using it with Spotify and works well (even with the DAC not working)
Best thing thing to do for battery life is disable all bloatware app like the T-Mobile apps, Facebook, Instagram, etc. If you're using the apps you might want to considering get this app called App Ops to turn off certain things like Snapchat's location always running or Facebook always running in the background. I personally don't use anything Facebook but I have heard from friends and other posts that apps like messenger keep the phone awake which prevents it's from sleeping so standby time will decrease.
As for snapchat I noticed the videos are choppy for some reason. The quality is good compared to my S5 but videos look like a slideshow.
YouTube 2K playback is broken now and I don't know why. I remember on the day the phone came out the app worked fine, somewhere down the line an update might have broke it. Knowing Google it will take them a while.
Your battery issues might because there are some background apps running preventing you phone from sleeping when not in use. I disabled all bloatware and T-Mobile apps and with moderate use I get ~12 hours on battery with 4+ hours of screen on time. For me this is amazing compared to my S5 that was even running a custom ROM that improves battery life.
I looked at the ZeroLemon but it's WAY TOO FAT and bulky. I bought one of these instead. It's a 7,600 mAh battery (and case) that is WAY slimmer than the ZeroLemon and has a 2 year warranty!

I've been using mine for 3 charge cycles and battery life keeps going UP. For example, using my phone at work all day listening to music and checking emails and text messages, when I left work it was at 99%! It's now after Midnight and it is at 80%. Granted, I use an awesome battery saver called LeanDroid that does a fantastic job of keeping my phone in deep sleep (I'm on Lollipop so no Doze mode). I have it wake up and check for new emails and such every 30 minutes. Oh, and I have my brightness at 90%. Yea, super bright, I like it that way. Just make sure you break the battery in by using it until it hits 0% (or the phone shuts down) then charge it for 10 hours with a good charger and repeat this cycle 3 to 5 times. Hope you guys find this helpful. Cheers!
Yeah, that's definitely not faster if you have lots of contacts. Setting up groups and favorites is a huge time saver too. I really suggest you just take some time to set it up and it will be helpful all around, especially since it sounds like you're starting from scratch anyway. https://contacts.google.com
I'm using the Incipio case and no screen protector. I've never seen the need for it and never scratched a screen. Amazon Listing
This is the one I got. Hard to go wrong with Anker. Seems to work well most of the time. On the occasions where it seems to not be charging as fast as I think it can, I'm sure it's got more to do with what's happening with the phone than the charger. But V10 will usually go from about half a charge to full charge during my 50 minute commute without a problem.
I just bought two for ~$7.50 per....I think I have seven total. For camping trips, etc.... Here's the Amazon link...

Try this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.ivary.ContactsSyncFix&hl=en
i was running into this issue a lot about a year ago, and this app fixed it every time. Apparently something to do with the ICE group, in my case.
The app even notifies you if it detects a contact sync issue
CPU-Z seems to show a bunch of additional temp readings I don't think it has a widget though.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpuid.cpu_z
.
just noticed I also have AIDA64 on my phone, it shows the same temp sensors as CPU-Z. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.finalwire.aida64
I think that blinking is for proximity sensor. When 2nd screen is open (while the main display off) if you put your hands on that sensor the 2nd screen will turn off to save battery. Like if you put your phone upside down or to your pocket screen will turn off. But i think they make that sensor more power efficient in marshmallow, so it won't work too much to drain battery. Or maybe you can only see it on camera. I am not sure about it. You can test that light (sensor), such as while you are talking, close that area with your thumb to see if screen is turning off. If it is that means the proximity sensor or that "light" is working fine. There are apps to test sensors, this one is my favorite. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=asd.vector.sensor
Sorta, I have a V10 and the only way I've found to do it so far is by streaming the audio with something like Soundwire. It only works up to 48khz though. The app is pretty buggy, and there's latency on the audio but I used it for a little while and it was okay.
Since Android 4.4 and above, the SDCard permissions have been changed on how it is granted to an application. A quick way to fix this is by using SDFix application. You must have root in order to install and use this application. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix&hl=en
Download this
I can verify that it works. I'm on T-Mobile. When you toggle the DAC option, there'll be a distinct moment when you can hear it fade in and out. It's almost like a popping noise.
Haha that'll do the trick. On an additional note, I did try shaking it last night, but not very hard and not in any particular direction. There are a few sensor test apps but Sensor Test for Android shows you which axis was which so using that particular information I shook hard in that specific direction. It might also be worth noting I had the battery cover off when I did this, but that's probably just circumstantial.
Sorry I totally forgot that mine does this because I installed an app that allows you to rebind the doubleclick up shortcut to the flashlight (or anything else ? I think).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apptuners.keyplusapp
Do the music controls not say there while playing music? My second screen seems to show them if I swipe to them and it won't change. My main gripe is with lack of customizing the second screen while the screen is off; if I want to turn on my flashlight I need to make sure I don't wake the screen, and after I turn it on I still need to always swipe to access it. Though I've now install KeePlus and can double tap volume up while locked to toggle the flashlight.
Lightflow will do exactly that. Controls all sorts of notifications and how you are notified of them, totally customizable.
I know I'm late to the game, but my fix for knock to lock in Nova is to download the app Screen off and lock. Then assign the double tap option in Nova settings to run that app. Works perfectly.
I just downloaded this app from the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devuni.flashlight
Then put it in my quick apps on the 2nd screen. There's an option to make the flashlight turn on as soon as the app opens so it's almost as good as having a toggle.

I have been on xda for sometime and I read a lot about this. If you don't want to be forced onto a limited plan their is only one method that is going to work. You have to use a VPN to hide your traffic. They are using packet sniffing and a few other methods to determine tethering. Using an encrypted VPN defeats anything they can do to track how you are using your data, including tethering. Also, use a 3rd party tethering app, as the Tmobile Hotspot app obviously tracks usage. All other methods not involving the use of a VPN will get you caught. Find one that is fast and reliable as well as having a good privacy policy. My preferred is Private Internet Access.
I don't think anyone should abuse their cellular data plan, I'm just providing info I gathered after browsing the forums.
I'm in my fourth V10 over the past 3 years and the GPS has been hit-and-miss. The 2nd one I had was worthless and would hardly lock on right out the box.
Try the app GPS Status to clear the GPS info and re-download. It seems to help often. Well, except for the 2nd version I had
hahaha only the cover, is a nice one, let me search it and I show it to you, but I´m on Spain, so beware shipping. if you are interested pm me.

I bought this one from Amazon 10 days ago and it's been working just fine for me. It lasts as long as the LG batteries do which isn't really saying too much but it still seems to be okay
I took a gamble on these last spring, and they've served me very well. They look sketchy, but they've been even more consistent than my 2 OEM batteries, and I've got 3 of them now. They're listed as 3900 mAh, but the batteries themselves say 4080 mAh. They don't last substantially longer, but unlike my OEM batteries they consistently start at 100% when I put them in and die at 2% (instead of 8-15%). If you're willing to take a little risk I'd say they're a good investment.

could you elaborate on this? I've ruined 4 or 5 cables the past few months. I have a fast charging samsung cable that has somehow survived. At this point because the samsung cable is still working, im pretty confident it is the cables and not the phone. This one works great, is nice and small. I finally lost the charger that came in the bud with the phone, but this one is actually better.

FosPower Bolt QC 2.0 Foldable Wall Charger Adapter: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0157C5YKG I bought this one and it's been awesome. It's nice and small with a folding plug and it's the only one I could find that has a USB port parallel to the wall instead of perpendicular. My home outlets are super old and loose, so the perpendicular type falls out all the time.
Ok I'm pretty into VR stuff so I've treid pretty much everything. Have you tried either GearVR or the higher quality stuff like the HTC Vive/Oculus Rift? If you have, the headsets you can use a V10 with are not nearly as good as those. I've had a couple of Google Cardboard variants, of which my favorite is probably this one. I mainly just use it for taking Cardboard panoramas, which are basically 360 panoramas with some 3D-ness and recorded sound. Great for taking at a scenic lookout or something.
That being said, this is not really a VR-ready phone. It has a high quality screen which is great, but something like a Gear S7 with the GearVR will be oodles better.
I have beyution headphones. If they're over Bluetooth, they suck, but plugged in, they're amazing. I listen to punk and electronica, and they can shake my eyeballs when I have it plugged into my v10. :-) These are about $21, and I have them in pink. This is just my preference, and was extremely affordable for me. I hope you find what you're looking for.
I believe you can save horsey if a ton if money and just buy a regular back and then put a wireless charging sticker inside it. Not sure how much the back costs, but I believe the stickers are like <$10 on Amazon.
Edit: This one has decent reviews and comes with both. Although some people aren't thrilled with the back cover itself. Mine is in a case, so I wouldn't even notice.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018EEUWAG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Q1Boyb8K71F3S
I've tried a few different cables and, honestly, most of them have sucked- either they don't fast charge or they don't fit tightly in the port.
I searched the subreddit and found some cables from Monoprice and PortaPow that worked really well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C4NWEJQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RQ5AZ6Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The portapow cables, when plugged in, don't say "fast charging," but I've seen them about just as fast as a "fast charging" cable.
I don't know about it being badass. But this is the only type there is to waterproof a device. With a pouch. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Waterproof-JOTO-CellPhone-Motorola/dp/B00LBK7OSY/ref=pd_sim_107_7?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00LBK7OSY&pd_rd_r=6YKFAT85B7Q37D05JVRM&pd_rd_w=ObjdM&pd_rd_wg=qcAII&psc=1&refRID=6YKFAT85B7Q37D05JVRM All other "waterproof" shells or cases might be water resistant at best since they recommend against submersion. I guess, just being able to use your device underwater is badass enough, right?
Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I bought this mount a long time ago and it works great:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007FH716W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_sMFRxb93EJCXW
Only issue is if you want the volume buttons on the phone to be exposed you just have to make sure you don't mount it too low, but otherwise, it holds the phone great and has been reliable.
Hope you like the idea of carrying around a brick. (:
How? I tried this with my OTG cable and it didn't work, even for just a flash drive. As far as I know my next step is to buy a powered OTG thing like this. But this clearly isn't that. Is it a specific model of cable? Is it a certain version of the v10? Give me the details please.
I got this one and it worked fine on previous devices even when other cables of that type didn't. I ordered a powered adapter today to see if that works, I'll let you know.
I feel your frustration, this issue basically forced me to get a cheap headset. If you have a special set of headphones you can get something like this ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AJ0P7YY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ZpmwxbW7VCYH9) because the issue is recognizing headphones with 2 rings, rather than the 3 rings that headsets have.
Hey man, sorry about the 4 day old response using the official reddit app now and it lacks a notification unless you're on (been busy getting ready for a trip). I bought it inside a T-mobile store in the US. If you mean the back case cover. Amazon. Don't get the leather, I heard it looks/feels odd. They also sell the rose gold case that has official flip cover for the top. After marshmellow there is a option for "Quick cover case" or standard back case. In one of the images on thier, the pink is mine (took the image on the outside of the drivers door).
This and I'm also partial to the Spigen glass screen protector. It covers your front facing cameras....

They make a more rugged version, but my galaxy s4 and v10 have went through several drops with this and were fine.
I've also been using this case by poetic for a few months and like it quite a bit. Same setup with the glass protector...

Really? Because I'm planning on buying it from Amazon:
and it supports band 17 (AT&T's main LTE band). Would there be any way for them to restrict bootloader unlock by region though?
I am not usually a fan of cases as they make phones bulkier but I am currently using a Ringke Fusion and it looks great and feels pretty good as well. On top of that, actual protection wise I can't complain.
I also use a standard tempered glass screen protector.
This is the Obliq:
It is thinner and probably provides a bit less protection but it has way better grip and feels much better in your hand.
But I'm out of town, I'll let you know how it is when I get home tomorrow.
Yes I know you said not a case. I haven't seen any mod or replacement back yet that give more grip. I think the majority of the slickness is coming from the sides, but the back is also an issue. I use an OBLIQ case and honestly have been very happy with it.
Good luck on your hunt.
You can buy an OEM battery from LG on Amazon.
Condition: mint (never been dropped), only the back panel corners seem to be wearing out. i guess its because of the friction from when i take it out of my pocket? but that could be easily replaced.
I do have the box. I know it can be GSM unlocked once the phone is paid off.
Accessories: I have a spigen screen protector. Extra battery, cradle charger & SD card from the LG Promotion. I also have an original LG bumper case and this Obliq case Amazon Link
There's also a PNY version that's 128GB for like $35. If you're patient, you can usually wait for good deals. You'll see them on r/Android or many of the other Android News sites. I got the same one for $30, and it's not too shabby.
I like SD cards because it's storage that I can usually rely on. I don't need to worry about Data limits when backing up all my awesome pics and videos (this phone has a phenomenal camera!). Also, I can easily transfer files from it, to my Surface without additional cables or equipment. I have not rooted my V10, but if you get into the Rooting and Flashing world, SD cards are life savers.
If you'd like wireless charging on the V10, there are a number of replacement backs that have QI wireless charging built in. I've got this one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017VLMOV8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
I have a cheap $10 one, it's pretty shit. There just aren't enough good accessories yet.
This is what I bought, scratched up my glass screen protector and is pain to use. There's one for about $20 but it doesn't look much better.
Check out the case by oblique on amazon. It has the same textured backing that the phone does. Keeps the phone low profile too. I like it a lot
http://www.amazon.com/Absorption-Protection-Bumper-Scratch-Protective/dp/B016WSNTC4
tried something like this before, since it's basically a spring-loaded clamp I got tired of keeping it pulled up until i got it perfectly perpendicular (it can tilt the phone up slightly if you're not careful).
Wound up getting an XL RetiCAM - <em>Amazon Link</em>, which screws down (and is metal - goes for @$25 on Amazon)
For reference, this is the one that comes on the Dollar Tree selfie sticks:
http://www.amazon.com/LimoStudio-Monopod-Tripod-Samsung-AGG1462/dp/B00PBCBZJ2/
$5 there or $1 at the store and it comes with the stick if you want to use it as a monopod or just as a grip when recording video or something. 4.5/5 stars on Amazon. Cheap but effective.
I've had no issue with the V10 being "slippery" in my small child hands (I'm not a child, just have small hands), that said, this is the case I bought,
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016WSNTC4
which is pretty grippy, but I found I really don't need it day to day so normally I don't use it.
The H961N is the Chinese/Hong Kong dual SIM version.
If you want to an LG V10 that is completely compatible to the frequency bands in the UK, you have to purchase the European/International (H960) version, e.g. via Amazon.de (link: http://www.amazon.de/LG-Smartphone-Touch-Display-interner-Speicher/dp/B019DV8V8Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=telephone&ie=UTF8&qid=1452261831&sr=1-1&keywords=lg+v10). I am sure Amazon.de ships to the UK as I read on XDA that somebody from the UK was able to order the LG V10 H960 from Amazon.de as well...
Apparently the Urban Armor Gear case works well with the scanner.
Also i noticed it seems to work on certain cases if you put the very tip of your finger On the scanner .
The cover has come out. The cover that comes with the phone is only NFC. You need one with NFC and QI coils.
Here is the official one from Amazon.
I purchased an unofficial one off of Ali Express for about 11 bucks. Not sure what I was expecting, but it was crap. It has a graphical texture that makes it look like it actually has the original physical texture. At this point I'm not sure if I want to get the genuine one for 100 bucks or take a risk with the stickers, some of which that reportedly failed after several weeks.
Hope this helps.
They kind of tried to deliver it on Saturday, 9th January 2016 but I delivered it to my office which was obviously closed on Saturday. Then, on Monday morning, I checked the delivery status and it said: > 04:25 Trying to deliver the package
> 04:25 Delivered the package
Obviously, that information was wrong and Amazon.de didn't deliver the package on Monday. I called them up and they said there is a "software error" and that they can't also track which driver tried to deliver the package on Saturday or Monday. Basically, they lost the package. Now, they started a completely new order for me. And it currently says that the expected delivery time is 1st until 2nd February which makes sense as the expected delivery time of the article currently is 2 to 3 weeks (check here: http://www.amazon.de/LG-Smartphone-Touch-Display-interner-Speicher/dp/B019DV8V8Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=telephone&ie=UTF8&qid=1452680812&sr=1-1&keywords=lg+v10).
However, all of that was a huge bummer. LG seems to have massive problems to provide Amazon as well as Cyberport with enough enough LG V10s for them to have enough on stock at all times. And then, Amazon.de's delivery service loses my LG V10! Incredible! I almost had it! There was some package with my name on it and they tried to deliver it on Saturday! And as from Monday, the package seems to be blown by the wind! Yes! - I am pissed!
Concerning UK: I have not seen any news on a UK release of the LG V10 either. The only option for UK citizens to obtain an LG V10 at the moment seems to be to deliver it from any other European country. Even though, Amazon.de just lost my delivery, I still think, Amazon.de is the best option to go for any UK citizens as Amazon.de also delivers the LG V10 to the UK.

You can find them on eBay and Amazon but they are pretty expensive. Here are a couple examples:
vs the generic ones (which you can get in 4 or 5 colors of leather and 4 or 5 colors of stock-like design) for $10-$20
There is also wireless charging &NFC sticker for it. http://www.amazon.com/NeWisdom-Wireless-charging-Antenna-T-Mobile/dp/B017SNFGZ0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449636711&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+v10+qi+sticker
Haha my bad man. Give it a month or so, I'm sure it'll be on Amazon for $5 - $10 cheaper.
Edit: Now available on Amazon!
I haven't found a case that lets the fingerprint reader work with the Tmo version. I read somewhere that AT&T sent out an update that helps with their versions but no luck for me. If you are looking for the rest of the criteria...honestly the Spigen I got from Amazon worked pretty good: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0176UXH7E?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
What about this one anyone tried it? Looks like a bumper so you keep the cool look of the back and the slimness of the phone..
I acquired this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0154NAJP8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00.
Phone fits just fine in it. Only thing that is an issue as everyone has stated in reviews it that it needs padding on the nose portion which is an easy fix.
I got a tempered glass one from amazon. It's alright. I would prefer a better one though. This one already has a chip in it from a previous drop before this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017ELXF9A/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_gMnBwbBBNSR5R
I just received a delivery notification that my 200GB Micro SD Card has arrived at home (at work currently). I plan on selling the Micro SD card along with ONE of the Tudia Cases that I have. Your choice of the Blue or Black one. Case(s) Image: http://imgur.com/O8LSqvB Tudia Case Link: http://www.amazon.com/TUDIA-Ultra-Full-Matte-Bumper-Protective/dp/B017Y821F2/ PS: The "Blue" case is more of a greyish blue. I have never used the black one. The blue one I've used for a week and a half before I switched to the Diztronic.
Mine still grips perfectly after a month but if you're in need of a new cable for charging purposes only, I'd recommend these cables:
http://www.amazon.com/PortaPow-Micro-USB-Cable-Charging/dp/B0088HTYUE
I found them after shifting through a ton of cables on amazon that gave me a slow charge. They charge faster than the OEM cable and work 100% without fail. I've measured the charging rate using the Galaxy Charger Current app on my old Note 2 (which doesn't even have quick charge 2.0!) and it blows all the other cables out of the water (1600-1800 mA vs 500-1000 mA on most cables). The only downside is that they are charge-only so you won't be able to transfer data with them.
It's not currently available on Amazon, but this is the one I bought when I had the One Plus One:
LG V10 Case, OBLIQ [Shock Absorption][Flex Pro] [Black] Thin Slim Fit [Drop Protection] Bumper Soft TPU Rubber Flexible [Impact Resistant] Scratch Resist Protective Cute High Quality Case (for LG V10) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016WSNTC4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_8VJywbJ0K74CJ
My fingerprint sensor works great even with a case. I find that I have to use more of the tip of my finger to get it to unlock though.
I use a Spigen Case which got crappy reviews because the fingerprint sensor issue but once i learned how to place my finger with the case on it works great now. I best advice is to keep experimenting with different ways to place your finger.
If you're not looking to spend much go for these. No microphone but definitely the most bang for your buck in terms of audio quality in ear buds.
Flexible Tripod for iPhone 6s 6s Plus 6 6 Plus 5s 5c 5 4s 4 Galaxy S6 S5 S4 S3 S2 - Cellphone Tripod Adapter - Travel Bag - Mini Lightweight Bendable Selfie Photo Video Webcam by DaVoice (Black/Gray) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QHEI776/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_HqKwwbGW6AWHD It arrived yesterday and I took some amazing photos with it.
Apple Headphones will partially work on all Android devices. The play pause works, the microphone works, and the ear buds work. The volume control never works.
If you want a set of earbuds that work perfectly (including the volume control), check out these:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HX0SRXW
They also go on sale a lot. I but them in groups of ten for the office and usually pay about $11 each.
I got this one as a stopgap because I thought the one I ordered from eBay was going to take a month:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015ZG609I
I got this one from eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/272017659608
which arrived only three days after the first one.
Both worked perfectly for me once I realized I should be using the fingerprint reader with the flat part of my finger, and not the point.
Allegedly this one does. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017JADHCG?colid=16GP606CZA57W&coliid=I1Y83HO3JPOF0K&psc=1&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl
I might grab it but im using the conductive tape trick now for my case until T-mobile pushes out the same update AT&T did last night.
I got this in today from amazon and i works very well, i am pleased with it. fingerprint scanner works great with it. It was prime when i got it.
Thanks, yea, I ordered two! One has been delayed twice:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016N29YOG/
And the other is still on backorder (The $1 one someone posted here).
You might want to take a look at this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016WSNTC4
Its a little cheaper, a little thinner, and the holes on the back are a little more fitted.
I have it and I love it.
I don't know if I'll be quick to drop $35+ on a case. With that being said I may go for the Tudia case's that are out. They were pretty decent on my OPO.
May I ask which tempered glass screen protector you bought and where you ordered it from? I already had a look around on Amazon.de for some tempered glass screen protectors since, unfortunately, some of the tempered glass screen protectors mentioned in /r/lgv10 do not offer international delivery.
So, you have the Spigen T-Mobile case now? Personally, I don't think that cases generally make smartphones ugly but certain types of cases do. I plan on purchasing the Obliq case (link: http://www.amazon.com/Absorption-Protection-Flexible-Resistant-Protective/dp/B016WSNTC4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448461193&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+v10+obliq) as it would almost keep the original design of the LG V10.
I've been using this one:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B016CBE8R6/
Its the skinniest one I have seen that still has a small lip to protect the screen. Its slightly grippy, so you don't feel like you are going to drop it. I like it a lot.
I also have this one on order:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016WSNTC4
It's supposed to arrive on Thursday. It looks a tony bit thicker, but a lot more grippy and a lot cooler looking.
Once I have both, I'll pick my favorite, but I imagine bother are good choices.
I got mine on Monday, and have grown pretty fond of it already.
I also ordered a SuperShieldz screen protector to pair with it. Very easy to apply and to keep clean
