You can "type" by just swiping your finger across all the letters and the keyboard will assume which word you want to write.
It works surprisingly well and with a bit of training you'll be faster as well.
I think the stock Android keyboard also supports swiping, you should try it
A lot of people hate on this keyboard, & admittedly some reasons are justified, but it has a lot of very solid features & a few I've never found in any other keyboard.
I find Swype to be the most accurate for glide typing and allows suggestions in fields GBoard does not. Multiling O Keyboard is on par with other top keyboards in accuracy, but is easily the most customizable keyboard available (create/delete keys and rows, for example).
can't say these are the best but these are those I have experience using:
simple and gets the job done. used this because it supports my native language. seldom updates and no emoji key (when I last used it) made me switch to...
can swipe English - not sure about other languages but my native language isn't supported. comes OOB with Nexus devices. looks good.
OK, if Amazon doesn't have it, then I'll have to buy it from Google or just use the stock keyboard.
BTW, this is the only free version of Swype on the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nuance.swype.trial
Good for 30 days. The non-trial version is 99 cents.
Ah, I had issues with the google keyboard as well, especially while 'swyping.' I would find that the keyboard would periodically drop my finger location while I was swiping it from letter to letter. So, I gave the legitimate 'Swype' keyboard a shot. It seems to have cured most of my issues, and the shortcuts built into the keyboard are actually quite useful. They have a free 30 day trial, to which, at the end of the trial period you'd have to decide if it is worth $1 to keep on using the keyboard. Just a thought anyway, you might want to see if it cures your keyboard issues.
Have you tried downloading the Swype app (not using the native "swype" functionality built into the phone's software)? Using that cut down on my typos (and autoincorrects) dramatically.
He means he prefers Swype, which is actually the original keyboard to use that typing method.
> Is it possible to replicate/duplicate the live tiles on an Android device?
There are launchers that try to replicate Windows Phone interface (and tiles, probably), but you are more likely to have luck using widgets, which are provided by many apps. You can place them to your home screen, make them to be a size of a cube and in some apps, customize their display too.
> the swype keyboard
There are Swype, SwiftKey and more. Most OEM (and Google's) keyboards have it built-in too, just pick your favorite.
> the bad ass camera
Most flagships have good cameras, watch reviews and compare.
> updates, no lag
Latest Nexuses - 5X and 6P are the best for those, of course. From what I've seen, LG and HTC are also quite fast with updates.
> I have no idea what the difference is on the different brands of phones - are they all the same or are there differences among them?
Well, every OEM in Android world likes to do changes on the OS, some less, some more. One Redditor made a nice list of brands that keep the OS look stock, though update times and count will still vary.
Use Swype
You can try Swype, SwiftKey or Fleksy but I bet there are thousand just test some out.
Swype tavsiye ederim android kullanıyorsan. Çift dil otomatik düzeltme vs. var.
This app doesn't add trailing spaces, and has great text prediction that learns even in Tasker.

If you like swipe typing, definitely try Swype. Miles better than Google keyboard IMO.
