I think it might be possible to load games from tape images using a phone and an app like TapDancer. I know that method works for other systems that use tapes.
They might need a tap-like format decoder as not all 'datassettes' used FSK. In fact, higher density recordings are much more complex en/decoding tech with advances that didn't make it into modems till later. Something like this might help /u/uncoolloser: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.kica.tapdancer&hl=en
Regarding the tapes, if you have an Android phone or tablet, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.kica.tapdancer&hl=en_GB combined with http://www.amazon.com/RCA-AH600R-Car-Cassette-Adapter/dp/B000BUN79K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1433262849&sr=8-2&keywords=cassette+to+3.5mm will get you a long way.
You can hook the UHF output to many modern TVs. Failing that, the video out port on the C64 can do composite video too.
If you're okay with leaving legacy data storage behind (I sure as hell am) maybe give this app a try?

I find tapDancer more useful because its cheaper/easier and I can just pull the files off a windows share.
When you -do- find something, a possible (ghetto) way to get it -on- to your Atari in the first place if your 410/810 is working might be to use something like this or this along with one of those cheapo cassette adapters with an aux cord on them that most dollar stores I've seen have stocked.
What is your recommendation regarding the use of tapDancer over BT?
