I use VPN Speed and downloading torrents as much as I want. It's the only one VPN I like, it's free and super safe. It's fast enough comparing to other VPNs. Using on my Android for a four months and didn't have any issues in that time. I mean when I'm downloading torrents or etc. And I'm downloading a lot (movies, games, music, everything). So don't worry.

Did you try to use free VPNs? I read about the different offers of free VPNs in the internet, BTW including Reddit, then I've read reviews on Google Play and then downloaded VPN Speed. It is satisfied by all my needs (watching movies, unlimited downloading torrents, have the full protection of my privacy), in a word - I'm totally secure = I'm very happy [for a few months already]

I use on Android VPN SPEED. I would not say that it greatly influences my battery. Like any other application. Only when I download torrent files - battery will discharge faster

I guess nowadays it's necessary, and it's better not to take risks. I'm also downloading torrents for many years, but decided to protect myself, and I use the free version of VPN - VPN Speed. It does not limit the capabilities of downloading, so for me it's a great advantage.

As someone said here "be wary of deals that sound too good to be true" - that's true. And doesn't matter it's a paid VPN or not.

So actually it's not a problem. I'm using VPN on my Android. No need to hack anything. Just go to Google play and download whatever you like cuz there are A LOT of free VPNs. Last half of year I'm using VPN Speed. How they're saying - they are "torrent friendly". That's cool. SO - you are protected and happy! :-) As all the rest there is instructions. I faced a similar problem. Then I switched to VPN Speed. I'm using it for three months already and don't have any troubles. IMHO - this is the best VPN. First of all - it's free, Second (what important for me) I can download torrents fast, I can reach any foreign sites etc. And I'm sure I am completely protected. In this case I've found solution to use free VPNs I'm travelling a lot, so it's very useful just to take my Android and get whatever I want, including torrents. One of them Vpn Speed Don't see the reason to pay if you can not to pay Good luck!
