Possibly this is a fix:

Only other thing is the 8 core issue further down the list. But, I don't have the game myself. >_>
you can check out the following 'built for the purpose' websites as well..
Both are great, backloggery gives a more nostalgic , old school and close to heart feel. But Grouvee is more easy to add/update games and manage in general.
Edit: Apologies, i did not see that /u/code-sloth has actually linked to a thread with suggestions already there. redundant reply. My Bad.
I love guitar hero myself and play it regularly. If you're interested in playing it more (with custom songs), I recommend checking out Clone Hero.
I also love Jak and Daxter! One of my all time favorites. If you're feeling up to it, I'd recommend trying to go for 100% as there is a secret ending if you do!
I ended buying the Humble Overwhelmingly Positive Bundle as well (along with the Best of 2016 one). I'm really not doing any favors for my backlog, but it was such a good value and I'm actually interested in many of the games as well.
I also use HowLongToBeat to sort my games. I like to list them from shortest beat time to longest--helps me get through a bunch of shorter games. I also sometimes browse through the Steam libraries of friends who actually play all their games as an example of someone who doesn't have backlog problems.
>I'll read up on that, thanks :)
I'm assuming you mean about the VPN. Be sure to get one that treats your privacy with seriousness, and doesn't keep any logs of any sort. Not all VPN providers are as good about that. Some even ban torrenting and p2p'ing in general, and don't have a killswitch, and other such things.
I can recommend Mullvad, as that's what I use. Others are happy with Private Internet Access, though I can't personally speak for them.
