It's AMD Gaming Evolved, not Raptr.
I'd use OBS with the AMD recording patched in though.

EDIT: Raptr and AMD Gaming Evolved are functionally the same but Raptr is more for general use. AMD Gaming Evolved is specifically used for AMD cards and I doubt it's full of ads.
No, Gameworks is made by Nvidia, Intel compilers had code of their own that crippled AMD.
Tasty Sauce!

AMD's cost to actually make their products is almost double that of Nvidia's.
> We need AMD to create a piece of software that is RadeonPro with the recording features of raptr without any of the bullshit social side of the software and it shouldn't require an account.
amd is open company. why do they have to develop it. can they not allow a third party to do it for them?

obs + vce support
Congrats, but is there a reason that people insist on using this gyazo garbage? there are so many better alternatives that don't force you to load a whole webpage just for 1 damn image, whilst not having insanely long and complicated URLS. I use ShareX which is open source and uploads your pics to imgur (or wherever else you want) and does a million other things. I used to use puu.sh but I like sharex.
Gyazo doesn't load on my phone and many otherr peoples, it's slow and clunky, and forces you to load a big webpage to view an image. I wish people would stop using it :c
InputMapper is the continuation of DS4Windows by jhebbel.
DS4Windows by Jays2Kings is a [different program].
This is a common source of confusion. Both are descended from the same predecessor, but they are separate now. Both are actively developed.
This will be the game changer coming...https://www.unrealengine.com/showcase/fable-legends
Unreal Engine released a press release for the Xbox which uses AMD GCN GPUs, can only assume the Win 10 exclusive will run well at this point.
This is all I can really say at this point. I had to find an official press release.
Note will require DX 12 GPU however since this is the unreal engine it will support DX 11 as well. http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/09/19/maxwell-and-dx12-delivered/
I think they would be in a worse financial position if they didn't secure the console market because AMD gets paid $100 for every PS4 sold which is great. So far they've gotten over $1 Billion (I don't know if it's profit though)

Raptr saves all of the recorded files in the users video folder by default so you can delete the videos from there. Honestly I would uninstall Raptr because it causes problems with some games (although to be fair it is slowly getting better) and use obs with AMD support to record video.
If you do divide to get rid of it then when you install an update for the driver make sure you do a custom install so you can uncheck the Raptr installation.
If you still use it some times then i would turn off the auto start in startup unless you use Raptr's other features.

Obviously this will be different with VCE but the first link i provided gives a good overall settings configuration for the vce portion of OBS
I usually experience a 5 fps frame drop recording 1080p 60fps 30mbps
Edit: Specs are amd 7950, 16GB ddr3 ram and 3570k 4.4ghz
OBS with VCE is still maintained, and in my experience it works very well. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-branch-with-amd-vce-support.13996/
In that post you'll find different recommended settings for different GCN revisions.
If you use OBS VCE, you will notice barely a performance hit. VCE is AMD's Shadowplay technology. Make sure to read the first post on installation and configuring.

Can you tell me what I need to download to get this to work? I'm reading this website but I can't understand what i'm supposed to be installing or not. Sorry.

These should help a little. As far as what difference the different levels will make, I've no idea. Probably very little in the grand scheme.

Fair enough, it is pretty close. But I think I would prefer 6 cores running at 3.9ghz over 2 running at 3.2.
I shall add an addendum, AMD Processor has the best price per performance for a CPU in the gaming brackets.
Same here, running VGA LCD via dvi adapter on 260x. You have to enable it via registry or this. Use Tahiti and reboot. You should be able to select up to 3200x1800 in games now.
I don't think it is worth spending the money for a very small upgrade. I had the blower style R9 290 for a long time. Finally I decided to put this on it: http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Accelero-Xtreme-III-CrossFire/dp/B007YLUCKQ
It's not the prettiest when it's mounted, but it really works. I can run the fans at 100% and I can't hear the noise at all. It kept the temps cool enough that I was able to get a sizeable overclock out of the card.
Before I had it set to 980 Mhz core and 1300 Mhz memory. Now I am able to hit 1150 Mhz core and 1500 Mhz memory. My plan now is to wait for the die shrinks and HBM2 next year and upgrade then.

I had a motherboard burn out on me because a transistor from the motherboard made contact with the back plate mount on the watercooling mount underneath the motherboard. I bought a new motherboard, and a different backplate mount and now it's working well. What does the backplate mount for the water-cooler look like?
I picked up an unbranded Corsair H80i on newegg for $40 and it came with a big single back plate which ended up shorting out the motherboard. I replaced it with this:
and it's fine now.
Actually now that I look again, I remember looking at the monoprice cables, but they only go up to 6ft long and I need 10ft for my setup. I think I'm going to go with this one instead: http://www.amazon.com/Accell-UltraAV-B142C-010B-2-DisplayPort-Locking/dp/B00CD1FB4E
