Liquid Death are the worst. Not only are they heavy and sometimes are ordered more than 1 per order, but they also demand that their shipment contain no Amazon branding. The trouble it is to ship these out 😭
You can bring a sound watch, like this: https://www.amazon.com/Frewico-X10-Multifunctional-Microphone-Self-timer/dp/B01GCKA7RW
Just make sure to only play it while at your Station, and not while moving around throughout the building to different areas.
Two options: buy a pair of Echo Frames eyeglasses, or see a psychologist about anxiety/ADHD/mood issues and ask for them to write you an accomodation note for work "to be able to wear headphones to listen to music to reduce, prevent, and manage symptoms."
After reading a few reviews and not really knowing anything about wireless earbuds this being my first pair, I got the Lypertek Pureplay Z3 open box from Amazon. They stick out a little bit far from the ear, but functionality and battery life has been perfect for me. Since I'm mostly listening to spoken word like podcasts and audio books I really don't care about the quality of music playback and can't speak to that but otherwise I've been very happy with them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VB46R9Y
Nice sound, but they only last for a straight 4 hours on Medium before the battery gives. Lucyd Lyte has a slightly lower sound quality in exchange for 8 hours of playback
Haha, tell your friend that I use this one. You may also have to unlock developer mode on your phone, which is what I had to do for my Pixel 2XL. I had a friend unlock my phone for me, so I don't know how that is done, but I'm sure there are YT tutorials.
Also, fair warning, they will eventually crack down on people spoofing punches.
These are actually available thru Zappos and are damn good for cheapies: https://www.amazon.com/Spenco-Polysorb-Maximum-Comfort-Support/dp/B000G1IL7C
For high end ones I like ALine: https://aline.com/
Certain facilities apparently are allowed to use headphones while stationary, as official policy, as long as they're a certain brand & type.
That aside, just follow the rules. Yes it sucks, but it's either no music or no employment.. that message likely isn't just posturing. If you want to bypass it though, you can use this: https://www.amazon.com/Frewico-X10-Multifunctional-Microphone-Self-timer/dp/B01GCKA7RW
It's essentially a smart watch with more sound quality and less.. everything else. I used it last year and no one above me bothered me. Just make sure to hit the pause button on it if a PA/AM is coming to speak with you, and to only have it loud enough so that you can hear it.
Did you even click the link? 1.75L of Captain Morgan, Amazon Fresh. Whole Foods sells wine by the truckload, and same with PrimeNow for markets served by PrimeNow. Damn making me feel bad for trying to prove everybody correct. Oh an here is an Amazon store link to 1.75L of Fireball: https://www.amazon.com/Fireball-Cinnamon-Whiskey-1-75-Proof/dp/B01III6LHG/
Go smoke a joint man, it will help you relax.
Amazon most certainly sells alcohol.Perhaps we should set sail with Captain Morgan? It's my day off, so I could get it in 2 hours, or less.
Lucyd Lyte Glasses are a bit pricey, but they'll practically ensure that you won't be hassled unless someone in management has a personal vendetta against you. Lasts for 8 hours, and you could always get prescription lenses (if you need them) put in too.
This is the one I bought. I turn it around so the buttons are at the back of my head. Even though my hair is up in a pony tail, it still hides the buttons. Just looks like a sweat band, which ... Well it's hot as hell in that place, so wearing one is apropos.
I wear glasses and these mask do a pretty decent job at preventing the fogging. They still fog up going from the car to the building since it's cold out but once I get inside and my glasses warm up I don't really have any issues with fogging. I have to adjust the mask occasionally but that's it.
The only downside to the mask is that the quality control isn't that great, like one ear loop can be bigger than the other. I had to return one set because two of the three mask had issues. Like one had the left ear loop smaller than the other and the other had two small ear loops to where it was too tight on my face.
I see a woman that wears a type of back brace. Not like some Forest Gump stuff but she says it really helps keep her posture so that her lower back doesn't bother her.
Looks something like this ...
Check by sinks and miocrowaves in breakrooms. But yeah we have fruit punch and lemon-lime Gatorade in soda fountains when they are working. Stuff general goes fast though and housekeeping or whatever takes a while to ever refill the stuff.
honestly I'm gonna star packing in my own gatorade, the powder you add to water. Glacier Freeze powder is fantastic. https://www.amazon.com/Gatorade-Thirst-Quencher-Powder-Glacier/dp/B0776HZ26P?ref_=ast_sto_dp
There's also just pure caffeine powder you can buy too. I may go that route too.
Try Leukotape it does not come even when you want it to. You can take 3 showers and that stuff will still be on.
We used it for the Appalachian Trail (2190.3 miles) no better product out there for wrapping/protecting your feet.
It may sound weird but I wear one of the zappos safety shoes with these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M72M90W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
on top of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08W72YXFP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
after removing the (bad!) Insoles they came with
Because they're deep enough for that lol, if I didn't layer them it would feel like walking on a hardwood floor.
I find most people who try to wear earbuds to be the dimmest in terms of planning. They think beanies will help them, but not when everyone else is wearing a beanie. The higher tiers will eventually notice, thus making a beanie go from a stealthy option into a target on your head. There are also the people who buy earbuds that are way too large and colorful. This makes them very easy to spot, ESPECIALLY when people use WIRED buds (which is the worst idea).
Do what I do when I'm stowing and/or picking--wear one of these earbuds. I specifically have the "nude" color since it blends with my skin tone. When I wear one of these, I can literally talk to someone face-to-face and they won't ever notice the bud being worn. I literally have to tilt my head to show the bud and point to my ear in order to get people to see it. I've talked to many higher tier workers in my area and none of them have said anything or noticed.
I like using these finger stretchers. By doing the opposite motion that you use all day working, your hand muscles become more balanced.

These are my favorite. I will say - they are definitely not great for winter, but if you're also looking for something good for moving around and keeping cool, it's the best I've found. I live in Michigan, I'm not sure where you're at for reference but it gets pretty cold here, and the FC is like literally perfectly built in a way that lowers air pressure and creates a wind tunnel effect down the entire sidewalk to the entrance. Despite that, I park pretty far from the entrance just so I don't have to deal with the crowds when I leave, and these joggers have worked fine for walking into the building. I think it would have to be pretty extreme to feel like you absolutely can't wear them for the parking lot walk.
But if it matters, I'm a sorter not in ship dock. I do a ton of kneeling, squatting, reaching, and moving around on rebin most of the day though. They're not perfect but I think they're nearly perfect for the price and worth sacrificing, at worst, uncomfortably chilly legs for a couple minutes because I stay cool all day. Definitely worth looking into, a lot of good, verified purchaser reviews.
Bonus - Pockets with zippers. You can make sure nothing will fall out if you're moving around a lot lol. Good luck though.
I've been using these for about 2 weeks with no issue. Just a matter of time before they catch on. Management, that is. lol. Though, you won't get no more than 3 or 4 hours of constant use if playing music, max volume.

these are similar if not the same ones i had when i was in permanent accommodation… https://www.amazon.com/Shokz-OpenMove-Headphones-Conduction-Sweatproof/dp/B09BW29FJS/ i’m thinking about buying myself a pair when i get some FC openings closer to home… glad to see an FC is letting everyone do it without having to jump through hoops!

I actually love this bag. After going through a couple that didn't have the capacity and whatnot, this one was definitely worth throwing the extra 5-10 bucks in for something worthwhile.
i bring these, especially since they don't have to be refrigerated
however, only eat those two or three times a week at most (because of the mercury that's in tuna), and be sure to bring mints too. those packs used to come with mints, but they don't anymore

collagen I’ve tried several brands, this dissolves the best, has more than the main 3 collagen types, tasteless, and cheapest per oz. Good luck!
Not dumb at all. I'm the same way. I got this little bag https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S35N6FJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and keep mine in there with my pain reliever. I've worked at two facilities for 6+ months and security hasn't said a word so far. Worst case scenario they'll just ask you to open it and look inside.
bought one of these:
has wireless charger for the phone... only problem is, the power cord is a small brick instead of just a power cord... some times have to fiddle with the surge protector to make the power adapter fit
Consider trying some silicone toe caps.
I put these on a couple of my toes during each shift. They have saved me from blisters and even from losing a broken nail.

The best thing you can do is get a very small pair of earbuds that match your skin tone. I currently own these earbuds and they are pretty amazing in terms of stealth (don't let the misspelling of "black" on the store page fool you). They sound pretty decent (I mainly use them for podcasts and audiobooks anyway), they last a long time, and managers and other co-workers don't even notice them.

The cotton toe socks are still super thin don’t get me wrong, but that’s a good thing because the most important part is the compression socks. It holds your foot so tight & has an extra layer of protection at the bottom. The toe socks are for eliminating the possibility of blisters & toe rubbing. The compression socks I got are these: SB SOX Compression Socks... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LA8QK68?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Just make sure to get your right size & they are a little pricey but you can wear the compression socks about 3-4 times before washing since you have the cotton toe socks under.
If you do not get blisters then toe socks might not be necessary for you.
I use these and have no complaints really. Muffles sounds to a much more tolerable level but you can still hear conversation with them on. If you sweat while working they can become uncomfortable but I imagine this is true of most over the ear protection. That's annoying safety has to approve it, I just started wearing them and have never had an issue.

I have this one coming in two sizes. I wears Danskos and love their "rocker" bottom soles and don't want some lousy flat bottomed shoe that's going to throw off my who body, posture, everything. Nah, that looks like a security seal, like this kind, which have a serial number that they could theoretically verify against the record of the one they put on your foot in the first place... but if they're going to get that close to your foot, they could just knock on the toe...
It depends on what you do for a living I guess. I am an AV professional with my primary focus on rigging and in my world someone will stomp on your foot to check every once in a while if you are lucky.. If you are unlucky a 150+ pound base plate can take a couple of toes off or shatter your foot. I mean, you can usually get away with composite kicks but steel has saved my ass more than once over the years (I still like to skateboard, I need my toes and feet ;))
If comfort is your concern I have been rocking a pair of Timberland Pro's (something like this). I have had them for so long I can not honestly remember what year I got them. The only things that have remotely worn out are all superficial. There was no break in phase from the day I got them and I immediately set off for work out of town the day after out of town. LOTS of walking and the only fatigue was the weight.
If price is your concern consider how long a _good_ pair of work boots will last you. Taking that in to consideration it is usually a no brainer. (PROTIP: They will most likely pay for themselves within a year easily.)
TBH, the weight is not that bad I barely notice at this point. They still look good enough I can lightly dust them off and wear them in to a 5 star hotel the day after I do a rigging job on a construction site full of god knows what. They fit well enough to monkey around climbing on truss or whatever too.
A lot of my peers swear by Red Wings or Wolverines. Unfortunately I do not have any experience with them so I cant say a lot either way.
Just my two cents, your mileage may vary. Good luck and keep them feets safe!
