No worries.
This is the one I bought. I have no ties to this company at all. You can literally just search on Amazon “magnesium lotion”.
Ancient Minerals Magnesium Lotion high concentration genuine zechstein topical magnesium chloride (5oz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XXP8YRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MKXBGWE9H0XWBCCCS1F1
What works for me may not work for you, but at 20 bucks, it’s maybe worth a try. 👍🏼
So far, what's been working very well is taking 0.25mg of clonazepam at night before bed if I get a hotspot, and it eliminates it after a day or two. Then every day I take 200mg of magnesium in the morning and before bed, melatonin before bed, and that keeps things at bay. I've tried half a dozen different brands of mag and this one seeeems to actually work, surprisingly: https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Absorption-Magnesium-Glycinate/dp/B000BD0RT0
Yeah. Definitely try a dopamine uptake inhibitor. Good new is you see a neuro for both BFS and RLS, so you won't have to see any added specialist for it. For toe cramps I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BGQ6QY7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I had to build up to wearing them for more than five minutes at a time, but they've helped uncurl my toes. It may have been more tendonitis related, but some of it did go away wiht starting the ropinirole, and now it's all gone wiht using the toe things every day. If you need to lay on your back you can try a foam wedge or hard pillow to prop up the legs so the back is flatter.
If moving helps wiht some of the spasms that's a pretty big indicator for RLS to me anyways. But the thing is the BFS type spasms got better with the dopamine inhibitor too.
I have been getting this on and off bro. Going on month 17. It’s mostly in my left calf though.
This is pretty much a BFS or anxiety thing. Try some warm compression or you could try that magnesium lotion I told you about that sells on Amazon.
I love that magnesium lotion it works really well. But if you don’t want to try anything you’ll never get any kind of relief. Gotta just try different things bro 😎

I then went searching for something with even higher content and this is the one I landed on and currently use

No, I totally see that. I had a great life up until this happened, everything was what I always wanted. So I think I did something along the way to earn this curse, and now I'm damned with it for the rest of my life, constantly interfering, reminding me that things are no longer great.
I've only found a few things that help reduce it. The most important is getting a sleep tracker, even a cheap smartwatch that can track deep sleep, then doing everything to ensure I get a minimum of 1 hour of deep sleep. Any less and the next day I am twitching constantly. Melatonin an hour before bed helps with this, and if I get a hotspot, then I take 0.5mg of clonazepam before bed and the hotspot will usually be gone by morning. I also take https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Absorption-Magnesium-Glycinate/dp/B000BD0RT0 because I don't only get small fasciculations, I get big ones that rapidly move my entire thumb, and this helps stop that, but it doesn't eliminate the fasciculations. I tried several types of mag and this was the only one that actually did have an effect.
I've seen anecdotes of people recovering from this after 10 years or so, and definitely seen it improve in people after a few years. I would say mine is definitely better than what it used to be. When it started, my biceps, chest, stomach, forearm, neck, all of it would be twitching all the time and my coworkers would see it and it was fking awful. COVID is the WORST, but I'm actually grateful that we can all work from home now so I could avoid going in and people seeing me in this condition.
Therapists are super trial and error. Most of them that are “talk therapists” only give a little for what you put in. Find one that specializes in CBT. A lot will say they do, but don’t practice it. Keep going. And if not, psycho education has helped me more than anything. Untangle Your Anxiety: A Guide To Overcoming An Anxiety Disorder By Two People Who Have Been Through It https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YQM9SPY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NR89M7Y20ZKVK5G41ATJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 is a game changer.
Yes they are both compounds of Zinc and Potassium. Of which I have taken many times in the past without success in the form of various supplements; alone, together and naturally through good dieting. It's my suspicion these forms were what was needed to help the body repair.
I have used these two recently. Kinda help for soreness and pain. I usually put it on at night before bed.

Yeah I was looking for something to use before before bed myself. It's just hard to sleep sometimes. I actually came across something on Amazon while I was looking at the ones u suggested that seems to be for my exact issues. Wondering if I should give it a try. 🤔
I think a week or two then it goes away for a while and right when I think it’s gone for good it’ll come back around lol. I use a pointed wooden massage stick ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BWGVC4B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9ZAQFAN9XBEWVSWH3EBS ) and a spiky ball that I like to squeeze when it happens. It doesn’t do much but atleast its something
Acupuncture is probably good for stuff like that but it’s too expensive around me ….
Yeah thinking to do the same! Saw this one which looked fancy: https://www.amazon.sg/Life-Extension-Super-R-Lipoic-60-Count/dp/B0027YKO1C
If anyone else has tried it, would be great to know. I have a feeling there are a lot of message boards out there of people with "twitching" problems who have resolved it with other means without going down the spiral we're all trapped in. :)
I saw my GP. He gave me orders for an EMG And a Doppler, but I haven’t made those appointments... he writes a lot of referrals IMO.
The CBD I take are is [this stuff](www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z8WZYVW/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_i_.5RKFbHJYMQYX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
It’s about 30 mg/ dose. I use it at night, but I see no reason why it couldn’t be used at any time.
I can’t emphasize enough...get good quality magnesium. They sell this on Amazon. I take two capsules. click here (magnesium glycinate)
Nothing found. it's been over 2 years since those fears. Seems like ages ago now. I get swollen nodes under my jaw too, but I have for years.
It has worked well for me.
