Flippable propeller blades made coaxial props easily possible. No need to compensate for rotation makes for a very simple build.
Bonus - same with a proper soundtrack http://coub.com/view/5562y
Open Broadcasting Software is technically intended for streaming, but it's really good at recording too. No watermarks, no special paid version, and no recording limit except for how much space you have. The only downside is it isn't as polished as most other recording software.
I'll post it when I get home in a few hours
EDIT: Gyrocopter Here's the save file.
Disclaimer: The machine really doesn't seem very stable to me, so sorry if the GIF was misleading.
Z to lift off, X & C to rotate, arrow keys for lean. Don't forget to set it to the ground before flying, otherwise it will blow up immediately.
What graphics card do you have? If you have NVIDIA GTX I can higly recommend Shadowplay. Super easy, few settings and works well. Few settings is also a downside, can't delete your cursor and it doesn't recognize Besiege anymore, so you have to set it to "Record Desktop".
If you have AMD, there's something like it, and I can never remember the name.
Good option regardless of graphics card is OBS. Complicated, but once you get it to work, it's amazing (apparently, I've never tried).
I saw those tiny new wheels and noticed they spun, so naturally I had to make a shopping cart. Small gallery here: https://imgur.com/a/xMMaW
And the build file here:

Edit: also my apologies at the messed up gif as this is the first I've ever made
Am I allowed to enter my own contests? I mean I won't give myself a prize for it since 1) it'd be rude, and 2) it's actually not that complicated, but I liked my orrery idea so I made that.
It's not the most stable thing on earth and will occasionally burn itself and/or have the moon and fast-moving planet crash, but I mean... it's cool! Also the moon is actually just on a powered gear. I couldn't find a way to passively keep it going :/
It's not brilliant and runs terribly even at half speed (30fps) and gravity (the wheels like to break the fenders), but it's 1:30am and I can't be bothered to fix/optimise it. It's got 4-wheel independant hydraulics, opening doors, massive wheels so it can't actually steer, and is the best (read: only) Besiege remake of a 1964 Chevrolet Impala I've seen. Download
Dwarf Fortress, a game about Dwarf and Fortresses.
Joking aside, that's probably one of the deepest games you could get addicted too. In the Fortress mode, you basically have to manage a bunch of ever-drunk ever-tantruming dwarven to their ~~doom~~ success. There are so much parameters stored, so much machanics to learn, so much détails that you could play for months without mastering everything.
For instance, the game, before playing, generates a whole world, its civilisations, their story to the "by person" detail. Each character in the history will have its own full story (birth, kills, wedding, migrations, death, etc...), each living characters is made of body parts with each one their characteristics (related to the tissue/material they're made of, their state (normal, wounded, dented, has scars, etc...) and things i don't know.
A link to the game and the wiki will be more explicit than the explications I could give (because I forgot a lot of détails and don't master all the gameplay).
Oh and one last thing : the game doesn't have any win state defined, so all plays ends by the doom of your character or fortress. You'll just have to pleasure the moment and the way your fortress will fall, because
> Losing is !!FUN!!
And that's the motto of the game! \o/
Unless you're really attached to Shadowplay, I recommend using Open Broadcaster Software for your recordings.
It can use the same hardware encoding that Shadowplay does (meaning you get similar performance impacts) and actually works a lot better in my experience.
OBS (or Open Broadcaster Software)(https://obsproject.com/) is a nice free recording program. The settings are a bit advanced, but once you have them set up properly recording is a breeze. Also, it doesn't use many resources to record
Title basically explains it, but a few things to note:
In the settings on the upper right, there is a setting that enables Advanced Building Mode. The icon looks like a drawing compas.
Then, after you select the Rotate tool, you will have more options. First, you can select multiple blocks by clicking and draging, or Shift+clicking to add or remove individual blocks.
Second, you will see the number 45.00 interval number, which you can now change to anything you want.
Lastly there are 3 other options that will change how things are rotated.
Maintain a parallel directory with the same file structure. Include all of the files and directories you want to add to your Besiege.
These should both attempt (and prompt) to overwrite any files it finds, but should gracefully add directories only as necessary.
Try Camtasia Studio - if you're willing to buy (otherwise pirate).
If you want a good free program try OBS. Is a tad confusing sometimes, watching tutorials is almost required because how confusing it can be at first.
So, this is something I've been playing with tonight. It's a gigantic catapult-ish thing that can throw 5 bombs further then I can see them fly
you control the collective with <- (up) and (down)->. and the aft rotor with O.
it is pretty hard to fly.
sometimes the aft rotor(s) just fall off when you launch the craft. just restart it. i have no idea why it does it and it is pretty random
The documentation for Besiege's code is called JustDecompile, the Unity API, and /u/theguysyoudespise :P
If you're serious about trying to make a clone of wiremod in Besiege though, send a PM to spaar on the forums about getting into the modding slack.
Based on this thread AMD's equivalent of Shadowplay is called VCE. There is an unofficial version of OBS that supports it.
Normally games bought in the humble store are found on this page:
https://www.humblebundle.com/home
Near the bottom, it says 'store purchases', the game should be there. Click on the name, then on that page, click on 'Click here for your Steam key', then click on the grey Steam button.
That should be it, the game will appear in your steam games list.
I updated my post. Also, here's a .bsg to play with:
https://www.mediafire.com/?u3wc3o3c6wo93fr
Abusing springs, but it sorta works. Remove all the springs and the output with load won't even budge. (Remove one wing to test this)
I use a not seen before (to my knowledge) steering system. Main advantage is that it goes back to straight automaticly.
.BSG has arrived! Dont know if MEGA.nz is allowed, but could not find another download to check real quick.
Try this.
There should be a folder for besiege. You should be able to search for it. Be warned that the game still can take a while to start up. Physics are intense.
Sure, I will link to Vera here.
I recommend using her at 1% to 10% for launching. My laptop struggles with the part count at anything above 15%, but the launch is so fast, that you need to go slowly to be able to fire.
Long term file (not uploaded yet)
And here's the .BSG file for everyone that wants to try it out. The drone itself is not very fast, but it's stupid hard to flip over and you can land it safely after a bombing run on the landing gear.
Flying it is a pretty simple task as long as you have a numpad keyboard.
Num0 - Up
Num . - Down
up,down,left,right - Translation
Num8,5,4,6,2 - Drop corresponding Bomb.
I always liked Crayon Physics. I played the free demo through a few times, then a friend bought me the full version for a birthday one year. Very fun game, almost elegant in its simplicity.
Algodoo, its free and you draw in 2d and interact with whatever you draw with a very nice physics engine, http://www.algodoo.com/download/
see here to see some creations: http://www.algodoo.com/algobox
I've decided to forego the Steam config and go for AntiMicro, which seems a lot more customizable.
I'm still playing with the settings... Only tried it for maybe half an hour, and I can't decide whether I want my left joystick to control the mouse or the vehicle :(
