I recommend you to make a backup image of the 32GB card. https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
Zip or extracted depends on the emulator. ;)
Folder structure isnt that important, you can chose the folder in every emulator.
Power off is under settings, dont use the power button for power off it can corrupt the filesystem.
The 2nd sd card is mounted in /media
Exact same thing happened to my stock gold battery like that, luckily it's a standard GBA SP battery, and I got this replacement, which has worked well:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FJ2WOJE
Just for shits n giggles give balena etcher a try and might want to do so with a freshly downloaded image just incase something went wrong there. Just unzip normally and flash the unpacked image to the sd card using balena, no formatting or prepping sd card needed. This method has worked great for my pocket go and thats not too difficult from your q90. The only downside is that at least for me auto partition resizing didnt work but it will still boot just fine for testing purposes.
If you never played VVVVVV, I'd recommend that one. It's a cool retro-style platformer.
You can get it here: https://github.com/jamesofarrell/VVVVVV/releases/
You'll need the data.zip file, which you can get here (legally): https://thelettervsixtim.es/makeandplay/ Just download one of the files and extract it from inside. Then you'll need to put it on your Pocket where it says in the first link. I had to create that folder, but it worked after that. I have the v2, so I don't know how well this will run on the v1, but worth a shot.
It's more likely to be a problem with the SD card if anything because I'm certain the images themselves are working. If you didn't format the card with this tool first, I would definitely do that. Then redownload the relevant CFW image from the dropbox link in the wiki to make sure it wasn't corrupted while it was downloading and try to apply it to your SD card. If that doesn't work, maybe someone you know has an unused card you can try it on?
Use SD Memory Card Formatter to wipe the included microSD card, then follow the rest of my earlier instructions to reinstall the OS. If that doesn't work, I'd contact the support of whoever you bought the Pocket-Go from.
Best way is to find games that work in a dosbox environment. Goto this dosbox wiki that talks about fallout setup. If you don't have the game, you can buy it from gog.com. Several early DOS games can work.
Also look into scummv which can play some DOS Lucasart and Sierra point and click adventure games.
Not too hard, Rogue also fixes the infamous volume level bug in the stock firmware. You can find the firmware file here, and can flash the file to a micro SD card using balenaEtcher here.
Just bear in mind that flashing will also erase all current data on your SD card so be sure to backup all your ROMs and programs beforehand.
It is OpenDingux. There is a custom firmware out there (the Rogue CFW), but as I said above, I haven't personally installed it. As far as I am aware though, you just need to use something like Etcher to flash the firmware to an SD card and the rest is pretty straightforward. You will have to load up your emulators (and potentially BIOS files for the emulators) after moving to CFW though.
Download sd_image.bin from here
I would recommend BalenaEtcher over Win32DiskImager, it can only flash .img files and not .bin.
Use Etcher to flash the image, pop that sucker in SD slot 1 and it will do the rest for you
Use Etcher for flashing: https://www.balena.io/etcher/ and easus partition manager for resize the main partition: https://www.easeus.com/partition-manager/personal.html Format the new sd card in FAT 32.
Thanks, I've send them a mail. I hope they response. Someone asked me if he could directly boot to the coverflow app. Thats possible, for those who are interested, here is a screen how to do it: https://www.screencast.com/t/zRXIcxERhZ
On your sdcard where the roms and emulators are located. When you unzip the file, you will have 2 folders (app & gmenu2X) they probably are already on your sdcard. You need to copy those 2 folders to your sdcard, it will add extra folders in those 2 locations. Check my screenshot of the content on my sdcard: https://www.screencast.com/t/ngmAYCFV
Yeah, mine has survived the last two years of being in my pocket thanks to this lovely thing! Its not adding as much thickness as a hard case

Agreed with the two posters above me, the PS Vita and PSP analog covers work for the PocketGo V2. I've got one on mine.
I bought these, and they come with several options:

I've been looking for a decently made, retro styled case since my PG2 arrived. Finally found this one, which ticks all my boxes. Gotta say, I think it looks pretty sweet.
UK users, a link is below if you want to grab one.

Won't happen until they start compiling Steam games for ARM. Emulating the whole stack PLUS binary translation will take several times the x86 horsepower to keep things smooth, so only a top-end Apple iPad Pro ARM chip need apply.

x86 handheld Steam/emulation boxes are a lot more expensive Than the Pocketgo, but still a lot more realistic than emulation.
