Glenn Greenwald has the best take on this IMO:
https://rumble.com/vphnor-the-rittenhouse-veredict.html
Greenwald is a former lawyer and says the law is squarely with Rittenhouse. The big picture most troubling part to this case is the jaw-droppingly reckless media coverage/bias that clearly influenced so much public thinking. People already hate each other enough and this just made everyone dig in deeper of their disgust of one another. The Wisconsin parade motorist/killer was clearly a disturbed person and the perceived "injustice" of the Rittenhouse verdict could have very well played a role considering the timing of his sick and evil rampage.
This video does not contain any comedy. It is a straight up video interview. But just keep your head buried in the sand.

"One Nation Under Blackmail is a damning indictment of the consequences resulting from the nearly century old relationship between both US and Israeli intelligence and the organized criminal network known as the National Crime Syndicate. This book specifically explores how that nexus between intelligence and organized crime directly developed the sexual blackmail tactics and networks that would later enable the sexual blackmail operation and other crimes of deceased pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Other books on Jeffrey Epstein focus on the depraved nature of his crimes, his wealth, and his most famous/politically-connected friends and acquaintances. This book, in contrast, reveals the extent to which Epstein's activities were state-sponsored through an exploration of his intelligence connections."

Now read some of the reviews and tell me they aren't negative lying shills. Like:

The title of this item is described as a newly released book. You don't expect to receive a blank book that is actually a notebook. It's not the sort of cover you would expect someone to use as a notebook either. A clever scam as further down in the description, the item is described as a notebook so I can't return it.

Meanwhile there are lots of other reviews that don't say anything like this. Given the source matter it is not so hard to figure out where this is coming from. This review actually lends credibility to the book.
Now go read his book lol

In case you're worried about that boring science stuff, don't worry!
"This book is literally a toolkit, and even though it could have been 500 pages, it has intentionally been kept compact"
"Note the book does not contain large chapters, but micro sections that are mostly one or two pages each. This format will greatly simplify the data you are about to receive to best ward off detrimental aging."
> There is no both sides on this.
If it's an allegory about climate change then there are at least two sides of that debate.
Wealth gaps are inevitable in periods of sustained peace. That’s not said in support of them, it frequently sucks to live in a highly stratified society and it makes other problems much more likely.
However as the examples show, it is possible to keep the issues less destabilizing than the US. Singapore does so by being very small and quite stringent, almost authoritarian at times. Sweden, by also being somewhat small by global averages and very homogeneous which avoids the need for the levels of strictness found in Singapore. It will be instructive to see how Sweden will be forced to change due to its recent rate and type of immigration.
As for the wealth inequality itself, I hold with Walter Scheidel’s findings on the matter: post-agriculture societies naturally occur a few winners and more and more losers until the process is interrupted and reset through violence.
This was in direct response to your comment about comparing the military spending in Afghanistan with the whole military budget. I pointed out that was a false dichotomy but still entertained your non-sequitur. And then you went way down the rabbit hole and completely left the budget argument behind as some sort of collateral attack on the last 40 years of military doctrine. I am not saying that is not a valid discussion, I am saying it does not belong in this thread.
I don't even really disagree with some of your premises, I just think you are painting with too broad a brush. Have you read Ghost Wars by Steve Coll? If not, I highly suggest it. It covers your points well, but it with a bit more nuance in my opinion.
I think thats how many perceive him even though he was openly racist.
But go read Authentically Black, lot's of Black voters don't think the CRA was all that great for the community. Can buy it for $2 below

The US under Obama prepared and other countries prepared. But Pres.Trump defunded the program. This prompted his science adviso, Michael Osterholm, to quit.
On March 14, 2017, Osterhold published a book predicting a SARS epidemic originating in Wuhan and explained how to prepare.
Lack of will, not time led to 715K deaths and China to 4,636.

The question isn't who makes the call but when.
Other countries can make their decisions quicker. China, a country 4X as big as the US, has 4,636 deaths. After the breakout, they were building new hospitals, masking their residents, testing, containing, and quarantining them.
Pres. Trump's science advisor, Michael Osterholm, quit when Trump refused to prepare for a SARS pandemic. On March 14, 2017, he published a book predicting a SARS epidemic originating in Wuhan and explained how to prepare.
Also, the Gain of Forward boys were busy in their labs doing related work. Dr. Osterholm ran the op for years, he claimed on his podcast. Sounds like our country had a pre-pandemic consensus of a sort, as Obama prepared. Then Trump cutout the program. https://www.amazon.com/Deadliest-Enemy-Against-Killer-Germs/dp/0316343692
