The book required for this class is Molecular Biology of the Cell either loose-leaf, paperback, or hardback. You can search for books for classes through the Hornet Bookstore but their prices are extremely expensive. I also found an old syllabus for the class. You can find an old syllabus online (found it by searching "bio 121 syllabus csus" and was like the third link, idk how to link a word document). Usually professors don't make major changes to their syllabus throughout the years.

I took BIO 121 but not with Nguyen. I would suggest studying heavily for this class since these upper division bio classes have lots of information (reading chapters, taking notes, RECORDING LECTURES - heard this is extremely important for his class, and asking questions). Also, if you like, you can form study groups with other students so that you can work together and share study skills.
