Check the weather on this site: https://www.accuweather.com/en/ph/cebu-city/262768/august-weather/262768
There are times that it will barely rain (just cloudy) so choose those days for outdoor activities.

You can ride the Edge Coaster if you're not afraid of heights.
Going to the Safari Park is also a nice way of spending your time here.
It's been raining the past 2 days, and nobody knows for sure what next week's weather will be, but there's a web app for that: https://www.accuweather.com/en/ph/cebu-city/262768/daily-weather-forecast/262768?day=11
Im from CDU although not MT. But the university is known for their outstanding performance in the MT program alongside Velez College.
Cdu MT is really competitive even in the online set up. When we had a subject related to the MT program last yr, our lectures were pre recorded, short and long exams do not need cameras, and major exams as well. I'm not sure though if the ones enrolled in MT also do not need to show their faces during major exams but that was our set up before. Iba iba kasi per department and if di mo yan major they are a bit lax. You're also given a detailed schedule of when exams or lectures will be given. I'm not sure now if they still follow the asynchronous classes nga lang.
As for the learning environment of CDU and generally describing it as a whole, it's toxic. The system will take days before your payment will be reflected. Celo, our learning platform, is too heavy for the internet. After you're enrolled, it will take weeks before your subjects are loaded to the learning platform. And instructors will EXPECT you to have COMPLETE necessities for online class. If you miss an exam and do not have a valid excuse, you won't get a chance to answer. If you experience power shortage, you're expected to give proof. If your connection gets interrupted in the middle of an exam, you will be asked to send a screenshot of your current speed test to verify. I could go on but those are the important things i could think of. Haha

Ahhh, if privacy is not much a concern, you can stick with ExpressVPN. I think the worst they can do is just sell your data to some marketing companies (like the link I posted said the parent company used to make money off of adware). But I personally used ProtonVPN. Free version only has Japan and USA though. I tried the paid version last year and it expired last April. In my opinion, it's good but expensive.
JTransit .. must have app for Android if you want to familiarize yourself with jeepney routes for situations where you have to go someplace w/o paying high fares for taxis. and search for bus routes as well; some routes are free!
