On Sunday the 30th she was jogging with two friends and she was run over by a car. It seemed like any other Sunday, but a man hit her and drove away. In Venezuela any health issue is a severe problem, and every medical situation is very critical here, especially when the accident is this traumatic.
She is in intensive care since Sunday with bone fractures including fractures in her head, multiple fractures in her spine, and she is in a very delicate condition. In Venezuela only a handful of private clinics have the materials and the people to deal with this kind of situation, and it is extremely expensive.
Idania has no health insurance, she lost it when the economy became dollarized and we could not assume the cost of it in dollars. Her life is in danger and we are doing everything possible to save her.
Translator's note: I am venezuelan, i can't verify if this is real but the situation in venezuela as describe by op is 100% accurate.
A Huron Kamvas 13 is a screen art tablet. It is an excellent brand and a high quality tablet. Many artists use and recommend it.
It costs $350 CAD, and is on sale $50 off on Amazon.

While I prefer Procreate and my iPad over other devices, I spent many years creating wonderful art with a basic, non-screen tablet similar to yours. A screened tablet is an upgrade and there are more affordable options than an iPad.
I know this doesn't fix the immediate problem but, you can follow the latest news about the virus and fix status here:

Again, I know this doesn't help you in the present but, you should look into setting up Amazon Glacier by going here.

Matthew, please join us in the community on Steemit.com. I can't promise you lots of money, but we both actually have a record of helping out our community members with donations and posting there regularly can also give you some extra income.
Here's an example of how we are currently helping another community member. He needs an operation and doesn't have the money.
(If you have issues opening the post on your phone, use the eSteem app and visit the trending page there)
Look at the price tag under his post. This network is revolutionary in many ways.

I heard about this story on Facebook (via Tumblr) recently. To my understanding, the toddler was attacked by a pit bull and needs facial reconstruction surgery. The community however wasn’t initially doing a very good job at helping because the mother and father of the child have a lot of tattoos. http://www.indiegogo.com/JaydenForrester http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20120903/NEWS01/309030025/jayden-forrester-pit-bull-rochester?nclick_check=1
I am a real estate agent in Dover, New Hampshire, and I need a bit of help getting my career going. Whatever you have to give, even if it's just spreading the word about my campaign will help! Thanks! Here's a link to my campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/Samneedsyourhelp?a=782700 Oh, and any questions, feel free to ask me, I'm trying to be as honest about this as possible!
Often working at a nonprofit is seen as the standard path if you want to make a difference. I did this myself, and now regret it, because it’s much easier to transition from the corporate sector into nonprofits than vice versa, so if you want to try both, it’s better to start outside of nonprofits, then enter later. Secondly, nonprofits are usually small and have a shoestring budget, which means there’s little room for training or career development compared to organisations in the for-profit sector. Thirdly, a significant fraction of social interventions don’t work, and this means that the nonprofits who implement these interventions don’t have any impact. I endorse the conclusions in this article by William MacAskill (author of 'Doing Good Better') - what do you think?
