Awesome thank you to everyone who pitched in, I got the part number from the dealer 20951578, they had it for $12. Amazon has it as well. I got it installed and my door is closing as good as new. Thanks guys

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you can fit a queen sized air mattress back there.

There are many to choose from on Amazon. I picked these up a few months ago for $136 bucks.
YITAMOTOR Towing Mirrors Compatible with Chevrolet GMC Cadillac Silverado Sierra 07-13 Power Heated Telescoping with LED Arrow Signal Light https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FFML1AA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WSMT8HVN27FW7AJDAC7M?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I didn’t have integrated turn signals in my stock mirrors, but the wiring harness was set up for them so when I plugged these in, bingo! You have to have power and heated mirrors to start with though.
If you don’t they have regular ones without the turn indicators that are a little cheaper. They also have ones with the chrome caps so if that’s what your after, it’s out there.
I don’t tow much, maybe a small utility trailer a couple times a month. But, I prefer the look of the tow mirrors over stock just because I think they look a little beefier.
I love my 2011. First thing I can't recommend enough is disabling AFM with an OBD2 device, like this to avoid engine issues in the future.
Lucky you lol... it’s $1159 straight from Borla or realtruck. Slightly cheaper on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Borla-140537BC-BORLA-Exhaust-System/dp/B00O654236?crid=1QAIW0YFE7NP6&keywords=140537bc&qid=1534546646&sprefix=140537&sr=8-1&ref=mp_s_a_1_1
Amazon sells decent boxes for this.

In my 93 I just ratchet strapped a square milk crate to mine and kept jumpers and chains in it mostly.
I bought mine off of Amazon and put it on myself.

Typical of GM Parts Authority, instructions are minimum. Not too hard to do, however.
I work at a chevy dealer and have used this tool almost every day for a couple years without any problems, $10 on amazon.
$200 is only liability for me. If winters aren’t that bad then just get whatever tire you like, even if it is just for aesthetics, the KO2s did great on ice. If you’re going for aesthetic you can also do -12 offset wheels to get out wider and it’ll still sit flush since your truck has the factory flairs.
All I have for music is a Bluetooth-FM transmitter , you do get some interference if you turn the radio way up and the volume on the transmitter itself down but it’s really not bad, it’s the only way to really look stock.
I used a backup camera as an excuse to also upgrade my radio head unit.
I have this camera - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DNMDVY8
Great picture, so any of the kits based on that camera should work if he doesn't have a radio with a camera in port
I wired mine with a piggy back fuse on the fuel pump.
These just plug into the factory fuse box under the hood. Run a wire to a relay that triggers the LEDs. They’ll be on any time the key is on. I do the same thing to run the amber back lights on my off road lights.
Just get one of these and you can monitor everything. Download the torque app and you can see everything. It lets you setup a custom little gauge cluster on your phone/tablet. It's amazing for the money. ($12)
The rear shackles area is an excellent place to start, they are usually under $50. This will bring the rear and the front even, you'll still be able to tow, drive over speed bumps, and through typical passable rained-out streets.
Installation is easy and about 10 - 20 minutes if you have the right tools, if you can not or do not want to install them any typical tire shop with a lift can install them for you.
They will fit a Silverado from 88-2017 2WD or 4WD. Google image search 2-inch drop Silverado to see if this is what you'd like.
If you want a lower drop you will be getting into an area that will have some limits for daily driving and resale to a certain section of buyers that like lowered trucks. Also, you'll want to get a suspension shop to install, shackles, front spindles, springs, and shorter shocks. If you go that route get it done right.
Reminder: Always take before and after pictures and welcome to truck ownership.
For the radio, there's a dash kit that turns the radio into a pocket and relocates it to the tape deck area so you can install a normal single din radio.
Get these . people said they’ve had them for 2years and running

I put these on my ‘12 about a year ago. Their power/turn signal/and heated and were also plug and play for my truck, adding turn signal integration to my truck that I didn’t have with my stock mirrors.
I know you said you didn’t want to pay $150-200 more for the premium features but these are only $131 for the set to start with, with all 3 of those features included.

I see these ones on a lot of trucks I’m a pretty big fan of them https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082YD9924/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WEWZHFBFQQADA16JP3XX maybe sand and use spray bed liner or something to keep the rust from spreading
I put these on my 2012. Easy install, plug and play. Stock I have the heated /power mirrors, but not the integrated turn signal. However, clearly the harness was wired for signal integration cuz mine worked flawlessly.

It's probably low on coolant compounded by sludge, rust, and calcium buildup that needs to be flushed, I had the same issue. I use this, it works great for the issue.

They fit up well and don't leak, and it's been driven through a couple brutal rainstorms that definitely would have made a leak noticeable.
ARKSEN 64" Universal Black Roof... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013COCXDC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It went on pretty easily. It attaches to the existing roof rack. It probably took about 2-3 hours when all said and done. It really made a nice difference. I highly recommend.
It is similar to this, bit 6.5' and GMT-800 style. This is just for reference. Completely water tight. Have gone through many drive through car washes with it with a dry bed at the end.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B42G8JY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_R06FQSM4BHYAW5PJ1J1J
Never used back to black but I’ve used this. My bumper trim isn’t as faded as yours but it does the trick. I reapply it after every couple washes or so
Pretty sure they are these amazon ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K2L0TDO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fOfcDbRE09ZVV
I was surprised with how they’ve held up and looked for $70 lights. I’ve had them since November of this year through a Wisconsin winter
Honestly don’t like the roof rack too much - might remove it. It’s dumb to have especially because there’s a sunroof lol. Previous owner made that decision. Headlights from Amazon,

I got this one on amazon. Get the recommended rubber fuel line if you do, as the line it comes with doesn’t mate-up to the intake manifold.
I dump in 6 ounces every tankful. I usually fill up on a 1/4 tank. You can buy a small bottle to carry in the truck that way you have a quart on hand and it's easy to put in. Then I refill it out of the gallon jug
I also use FPPF Killem Biocide Additive. 1/2 an ounce every other tank.
I would get both types actually. Just to give you options and you'll most likely be going through a few anyways. Make sure you pick up a few hand brushes as well. Personally I would just sit down "indian style" on some card board so you're not punishing your knees too much. Get some cheap knee pads as well. They really help and older you will thank younger you for doing so.
Yeah I was hesitant at first as well because I’ve heard of single leds going out in the strips, etc. but I haven’t had any problems yet. Brand is Akkon but the box they came in said Spyder. Got them off amazon. Here’s the link.
Pretty sure this is the one you want, no?
Dimensions are 58.5 x 19 x 10 inches
You're aware you can buy these right?
This is the one I have and if you look up your truck they should list the dimensions in the description.
My dad installed this exact fuel filter on my 1965 C10. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000COBB2A/ref=pe_825000_114212990_pe_825000_114212990_n_id. It's a good filter. I cannot replace mine with another brand, as it rests on one of the headers. You could either replace it, or move it and replace it with the OEM filter. I have a a couple spares, as they do tend to get leaky after a while through the gaskets.
What do you mean by molded part of the tailgate?
The plastic part isn't part of the tailgate, but it may be stuck or maybe repainted and they didn't mask it off so the paint filled in the gaps and has it stuck.
Here are the two pieces you should be seeing: https://www.amazon.com/Chevy-Silverado-Sierra-99-Textured/dp/B009RC2HVC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1507666224&sr=8-3&keywords=silverado+tailgate+handle
BlackExclusive Halo Projector SMD DRL LED Headlights from amazon, I thought they looked the best with what I was going for
(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016EBTRZC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apap_3VLBEsifX5j1I)
I would just cut out the stock muffler and leave the stock flapper. If you only want sound and arent doing an entire system (intake, headers, full exhaust) then this is best least expensive route.
I cut out my muffler and flapper and installed a MagnaFlow 12589. It is exactly the rumble i was looking for but i tuned out the AFM which causes the drone.

usually those don't work, I bought one just like it thinking hey its cheap, but I ended up buying this one and it has worked flawlessly
I have a 2002 Tahoe... and just put these on two weekends ago Tow Mirrors
They are heated and powered..
The only thing i'm not a big fan of is that they have a slight upward angle instead of being perpendicular to the vehicle.
Otherwise it was absolutely worth the purchase.
I was thinking I could replace the chubby hole with a steel plate and then mount these on the plate. I think I could get three switches in that location. different color LED for each aux light. I would try and paint the plate to match as much as possible.
