Tasigur is legal in 1v1 Commander, he's banned as commander in Duel Commander.
MTGO 1v1, Multiplayer EDH and French 1v1 have different banlists. Leovold is only banned in Multiplayer EDH as far as I know. MTGO 1v1 banlist can be seen here.
Wizards is still publishing the decklists. Check out Wizards MTGO decklists and search for "Commander" to get a list of the 1v1 Commander events.
I do not know if they are posting all of the decklists that went 5-0 within that timeframe or are simply picking a few of them. Either way this should give some impressions on what decks are doing well.
First off, I agree that if proxies are used they should at lest attempt to resemble the real card. Proxies should be recognizable from across the table.
As for your argument, please point out in the comprehensive rules text where proxies are banned in non-sanctioned play because of "life's rules" whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean.
I find it hypocritical of you to suggest that "tenets of capitalism' ought to be respected as a part of the game when the reserved list is itself the result of litigation by a small interest group (early collectors) to force a company to deny the rest of its customers, no matter how profitable or healthy for the game it would be, a comparable product, much less the same product. The result is late-comers to the game are priced out of cards for no valid market reason and as such are forced to make a choice: make do with lesser cards or proxy. Setting aside player skill, only one of those choices makes the odds of victory even close.
There are different banlists for MTGO 1v1 and Duel Commander and they're played with different starting life totals (30 on MTGO, 20 in Duel). Baral isn't banned in Duel Commander, only MTGO. You should find out which banlist is getting used, and then look at some decklists corresponding to the one being played (mtgtop8 for Duel, 5-0 decklists for MTGO).
Main thing most people won't have is a webcam setup that lets them point down at a table or desk from above.
There are lots of cheap mounts on Amazon - I got this one and have been pretty happy with it! It pivots easily, and has knobs to tighten it into place so it doesn't bounce or wobble.
Depending on how long your webcam's USB cable is, you may also want to pick up a cable extension.
For reference the GP schedule and SCG Open Schedule. Sadly, you just missed GP Providence by about a month, but the next big event in MA is the SCG Open in Worcester in March.
Breakfast hulk is assembling the Cephalid Breakfast legacy deck's namesake combo - [[Cephalid Illusionist]] and [[Nomads en-Kor]] with the aim at targeting Cephalid Illusionist with Nomads en-Kor until your deck is milled. Flash Hulk gets Cephalid Illusionist, Nomads en-Kor, [[Grand Abolisher]] and [[Hapless Researcher]]. You can then mill your entire library. Here Breakfast Hulk and Hermit Druid have the same wincondition. However Breakfast Hulk has the advantage of having a Grand Abolisher out preventing a lot of action from your opponents.
After you have milled yourself you need three creatures in play. You may already have them or you may get some more by milling your [[Naracomoeba]] or playing a land for [[Bloodghast]] after milling it to your graveyard. You then sacrifice three creatures - if you are running breakfast hulk, keep Grand Abolisher in play - to flashback [[Dread Return]] targeting the [[Laboratory Maniac]] you milled into your graveyard. Then either sacrifice your Hapless Researcher or cast a cantrip to draw a card from your empty library and win with Laboratory Maniac.
So I'm going to let you in on a secret, learned the hard way from lots of shitty 2HG sealed.
Pairing two different strategies, is the surest way to fail.
Control & combo? One of your heads is trying to contain two players, and the other is not supporting the ongoing game. The 2 opponents will outdraw the 1 control head. You both need to go in with the same game plan, and same method of acting out that game plan. A blue control deck doesn't go well when paired with a tanatymna stax control deck.
The pairings I would recommend are either Edric/Edric, which according to official 2HG rules from wotc, if one of you casts an extra turn spell, you BOTH (comprehensive rule 805.8) go through an additional turn. Because you move through all your phases together. That is why EdricEdric is probably the best of the best. Each time walk is actually a time stretch, and both edrics in play, mean that you both get to draw 2 cards per connection. Rules citation that says you get to have 2 edrics in play
So your team draws double, and your time walks are essentially double. Since you are both getting a turns worth of actions. So each time walk is essentially 4 times the value of a time walk in a normal Edric deck.
But do play a control variant, rather than the all-in versions. There are a lot of wraths floating around in 2hg.

Follow up! I just added this in the latest release. Credit where credit is due - included in release notes:

WHAT'S NEW Feature 1(User Request): Added death screen option for losing players. This also appears in the combat log. The feature can be turned off in the game settings. Credit To: n4ppyn4ppy from Reddit for the idea.
I guess I post my own. Imo its the best one out there for EDH (I couldn't find a good one, where I don't have to change players or something)
1-6 players, Partner Commander support coming soon.

Yeah so triple sleeving is a inner sleeve, I use the TCG Guru ones here in EU. Then I use the Atraxa ultra pro art sleeves, as the 2nd ones. The last 3rd sleeve is called KMC character guard and goes over the 2nd sleeve. The character guard is a clear sleeve matte on 1 side. Amazon link for character guards
well, the data says otherwise. you have to be blind or not want to see it that this format isn't working very well.
my core argument relates to simple publicly available data like.
https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/mtgo-standings/commander-1-v-1-challenge-2018-05-20
Can someone help me out? On the 1v1 commander banlist found here https://magic.wizards.com/en/game-info/gameplay/rules-and-formats/banned-restricted/magic-online-commander nothing has changed. Why? Do they still have to update it?
There are mounting arms that screw into the bottom of your camera. Other variations can use magnets.

I'm pretty confident the test no longer works. Mark Rosewater wrote a followup article to that one, called Timmy, Johnny, and Spike Revisited. The link to the test will say that the poll has already been removed.
> You could not use lands as a Black Lotus because lands have no mana cost while a Black Lotus has a mana cost of “0” which is different. > You could though play a [[Lotus Bloom]] with a land though!
This is actually contradictory to the only "ruling" I've seen on the issue (an FAQ reply):
>Richard Garfield, Ph.D.
>Can I play my Swamp as a Black Lotus?
>Assuming you're playing Type I rules (remember that Richard only lets you use cards legal in the format you're playing), then yes. Lands have a mana cost of 0.
Of course this is before the suspend cards with no mana cost at all, but without errata it would seem that lands could be used to pull cards with mana cost 0.
This means they would be able to get other lands or Mox Diamond, but not Lotus Bloom. At least, that is the way I'd rule it. "Officially" Garfield sees lands as mana cost 0, which we know is different from not having a mana cost according to the actual rules.
Of course, I'd probably leave it up to the group and just stick to whatever they decide, as they are the ones allowing an unset commander to be used in the first place.
As a separate piece of advice I would recommend this app. I play this deck and sometimes..... there are far too many triggers

Something like this works well and very affordable.
STANLEY FATMAX Tool Box Organizer, Deep Pro (FMST14820) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008J2IQ34/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_K4PC2Y0ZT9NE4NXE2C5A
It has a lot of different containers to divide up the cards or decks up as you wish to keep things organized. It's also good for carrying a lot of different decks with you at once, and very cost effective compared to the normal $20-$30 per one 100 card deck box.
If you have a Home Depot close to you then go in person and compare to find which one you like best. Each major power tool brand has one and they are all a little bit different or order the one I liked off Amazon.

Ok so a friend discovered this he has a handful of triple sleeved decks. An archive can fit 2 of these and a small ultra pro deck box. It’s bulky but for 2 decks it’s not bad. I personally plan on using it myself when I get a second deck worth sleeving.
I use KMC Card Barrier Boxes. I fit two decks in each of the large partitions, and use the small partitions for tokens and sideboard cards/cards I'm trying out. I've found them to be far superior to the BCW cardboard boxes I used before. More durable and less risk of damage. Been using them for about 4 years, never had any issues.

Hi guys. It's hard to accept that even the greatest things, sooner or later have to come to an end, like... ice cream in the freezer, and my holidays. But MTG Life Counter+ didn't at all! ;)
THE UPDATE
In the past weeks, I continued its development by working on a major feature update as promised. It isn't ready yet, but I really wanted to leave you with something new before September begins, so I decided to give you a taste of it by releasing a new update. It introduces a handy way to look for card definitions, quotations and anything you may want to know about cards through the best Magic card databases you already know, without requiring you to leave the app during the game. Chek it out.
A BIG THANK
Since its first step in the world, MTG Life Counter+ had about 300 downloads in only 3 months. I remember that when searching for "mtg life counter", originally I had to scroll around 60 similar apps before finding it. Now it plays a role in the first TOP10 results, next to much more famous apps in this field.
For just a hobby project developed without any external support, this is an absolutely awesome result I never imagined about. Since this app is spreading thank to word-of-mouth, I feel like this success is also your merit, so thank you all for your precious support.
Shameless plug here for the topdecked app, I'm not affiliated I just really Ike the app.
It does pretty much everything and I recently caved and paid for the upgraded version because I use it so much.
Obligatory play store link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maritlabs.topdecked.mtg
It collated tournament results and deck lists from any format you want, pulls articles from lots of sources. Instant updates of banned and restricted announcements as a notification to your phone and its one of the ways you can listen to leaving a legacy every week.
I also store the hulk of my decklists, wants and use it as a rough steer for trades.
