It's California so honestly plan for it to be hot, cold, rainy, or anything in between. Actually, don't plan for it to be rainy, it doesn't do that here LOL. But seriously, it could be in the 90s or it could be in the 50s and there's no way to know this far in advance unfortunately. You can look at almanacs online such as this one to see what the average temperatures in April are for various years. When your trip gets closer (within a week), start looking at the forecasts for the upcoming week to decide what to pack.
This stroller I just found on Amazon for $49.95 holds up to 50 lbs and 40” tall kids. Eh, I’d risk it. Seriously, you can rent when you get there, but remember that there could (and probably will be) a long walk from the bus stop/monorail station/boat dock to your hotel room at the end of the night.
Would they allow a knee scooter? Your doctor should be able to get one for you?
I mean they are smaller than a wheelchair or baby stroller. If you don't want to rent a scooter maybe that is an option.
I don't use a backpack for my main park bag. My favorite park bag that I've been using is the WATERFLY Sling Bag Crossbody. Several pockets to keep things organized, the water bottle pocket has an elastic retention cord to make sure your bottle doesn't fall out. I've mainly used it for carrying things for 2 to 3 people but I've had plenty of room. 4 single use ponchos, bottle of spray sunscreen, Water Bottle, Anker 10k portable charger, and snacks.
Do you have Amazon? I just saw one on there, I’m not sure how Amazon works in Canada though.

Hi!!! Former nursing mommy but I have some tips. I got a neck fan thing from Amazon for times that we would be waiting for a parade or during a line and babe wanted to feed. Kept me and baby cool and entertained them so much because it’s a small fan. It was a life saver. Best thing ever and the battery lasted way longer than expected. This is the one I personally have (Portable Neck Fan, Hand Free Personal Hanging Neck Sports Fan USB Rechargeable (3 Speed Adjustable) Wearable Cooling Head Fan,360 Degree Free Rotation for Traveling, Sports, Office, Reading (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09123LYZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WKKTBG8BPS4Y53DJK2NW?psc=1 )
Two, any inside building, most of the time has AC’s. Nobody will every say anything, CM’s will actually be quite supportive of it.
Three, as other mentioned, the baby centers. You can actually also go to First aid, and ask to feed, if you really want some privacy. It’s ALWAYS empty and quiet.
ahh, thanks. I don't actually think $1-$3 is unreasonable, but they did advertise it as free refills when I bought it.
I also forgot to mention if you have a iphone 12 or 13, The Anker 622 seems like a cool option since you dont have to be hooked to a cable
Take a look at these:
I don't know if fuel rod backed off the free refills or whatever, but like other people have said, they don't hold much of a charge, 2600 mah. It isn't a terrible deal, I think they charge $1-$3 a refill now, and it is convenient, I prefer the anker chargers though, they hold a longer charge and are more reliable.
This is the one we had for my little one & loved that it was basically a 2 in 1. High recommend. And remember have so much fun!!

I have an Anker power core: Amazon link below.

I used this first in Disney precovid and it charged up my phone, my dad's phone and my aunt's phone in one charge. Needless to say I ordered one for each of them and sent it to their house. They love them!
According to Disney's website:
Q: What are the minimum device requirements to use the My Disney Experience app?
A. iOS devices: Require iOS 13.0 and above
Android devices: Require Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above.
So, while it does not require the latest and greatest, it does require that you have a device with an operating system at least within the past couple iterations. You indicate you have Android 10, so it should be working. Does your phone have the capability to upgrade to Android 12 (the current version)? If so, I'd run a software update and then try to install the app with 12 on your phone.
Is this the link you used to try to access the app? If it's still not working after you update to Android 12, I suggest you head to the local Verizon/AT&T/your cell provider's store and see if they can assist. As a last resort, do you have an iPad with cellular data? Or even one that could connect to Disneyland's wifi?
That's a real bummer. It will be totally pointless to get Genie+ if you don't have some means of accessing the app. (Singing to the choir, I know). Good luck - and hopefully someone with better ideas than me will be along to help!
From someone who has done a lot of Disney, may I recommend this product:
https://www.amazon.com/PREHEELS-Blister-Prevention-Innovation-Blisters/dp/B07N15HKWN
Check out Mr. Cheesypop, Best Life and Beyond, Fresh Baked and Ordinary Adventurers on YouTube for in the park advice. I also recommend staying across the street, as close to the IHOP on Harbor as possible. That is where the crosswalk to the esplanade is.
Lastly, and most importantly, EAT A CORN DOG. You will hear all about Churros and they are everywhere (I have a dog named Churro), but do not sleep on that corn dog! You can get them in both parks, at the Red Wagon in Disneyland and at the Corn Dog Castle in DCA.
This is my all time favorite bag for Disney, it's and Osprey Daylite
it is 13L, 16.93 x 10.24 x 7.87 inches, it has no problems on any rides, I usually just place it on the floor at my feet, or on the side on the seat depending on the ride.
I think your bag is a little bigger, but should still be ok, depending on how full it is. I could get away with a smaller bag, but this one is really comfy and easy to use. I also like have a little room to put a sweater or jacket in if someone decides they don't want to wear it, or have a little room for souvenirs at the end of the night.
My sister uses the drawstring posted here. She loves it, to me it looks uncomfortable, but to each their own.
Imagine taking that backpack you have to a diner, and needing to put it down by your feet at the table, thats basically what it is like for most rides. Some rides you have to place it in a little basket (Star Tours/Soarin) or even on the floor (soarin)
Sorry to keep rambling. My understanding is, you can leave purchases at guest services at the main entrance, and pick them up on the way out, not sure if that is still going on, but it was in June of this year.
In the grand scheme I guess that the disclaimer that I went to DW doesn't matter but I used a drawstring bag last year similar to this one https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Mickey-Mouse-Drawstring-Backpack/dp/B009LPJO34/ref=sr_1_17?dchild=1&keywords=disney+drawstring+backpack&qid=1629256056&sr=8-17 It did its job, and especially if you can wrap the strap around your leg when you put it under.
for my 2022 trip I plan on upgrading to a loungefly or danielle nicole bag, I've seen people satisfied with these mini backpacks especially if its just you but only if its worth it to you to drop some money on one(there are loungefly vendors that take afterpary/klarna).
I've seen people take some full sized backpacks in there, or leave it with a cast member. Can you still have items held at the front of the park? You could try that or maybe circling back to the shops at the end of the day.

I don't have any advice specifically about this but in light of the other comment maybe something like this would be helpful? https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00HA2ZKCO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_CMZJFE1B3Z5PEQ3GVKZ1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have one and I use it for something else but a lot of the reviews mention it's great for shading a wheelchair.
This was one of the most helpful things I brought on my trip
I went in January/February and all I needed was shorts and shirts, flip flops would have been fine, but for all the walking I brought some nice walking shoes. I can't speak for mid-september though. It rained lightly a couple times, but wasn't a down pour or anything. The humidity takes a little getting used to, but I actually like it after the first day.
After that, just your normal stuff. Maybe pack more moisture wicking type clothes.
I don't know your length but the pants I've worn to the parks in summer come in your waist size.
I personally love Izod golf pants. Moisture wicking, stretchy, and UPF. There's a few other brands that make similar style pants. The main key word is "golf pants."

We went in March, same thought. Bought these and they worked great. Make sure to ask for extra cups/lids and they will bring them to your room.

For our Disney bag we pack water containers, Tylenol, pepto bismol, ponchos, sunglasses/glasses case, sunscreen, sanitizer, and a small drying towel.
I do auto detail on the side, so I used one of my old, small car drying towels to wipe off seats after the daily rain. My wife marveled at how absorbent the towel was and it only took 1 swipe to soak up all the water on the seat. And you get the added benefit of a towel to dab up sweat and possibly cool you off if its slightly damp already. This is the towel I use:
You can find something comparable for cheaper, like I said i had this laying around and it was at the end of its service life, so I repurposed it.
