You can still access it via the browser link at least thankfully, but I really wish they'd kept it on the actual app. Such a great feature and a fun way to see what they'd released chronologically and discover stuff you may not be award of, like I didn't realize how many animal & nature specials they used to make back in the 50s and 60s!

The HD version is available for rental/purchase on streaming services like Amazon and Google play, and I'm sure other places as well. I'd be shocked if it wasn't HD on Disney+.
(you can watch a segment of the HD 1080 version on Amazon here by clicking on "watch trailer"... it might take a few seconds to buffer to 1080: https://www.amazon.com/Black-Cauldron-John-Huston/dp/B006RZZ80O)
Justwatch is a great site for checking this stuff. According to this you may be able to stream it on Amazon if you have it (can probably also just make a trial account for the movie)

i think american dad is rated tv-ma on disney+ canada (see https://www.disneyplus.com/series/american-dad/oHyEHaC7nOF4), but the maximum rating for american accounts is tv-14. you can watch american dad when you change your vpn location to manchester because it's rated 12+ on disney+ uk.

This is not a gem, but something I just have to mention. We stumbled upon "The Boy who Talked to Badgers" and just had to watch it.

It is mind-bendingly bad and not one of those so bad it's good movies either!

Not sure what standard you have for English, but as I native speaker it'd never occur to me this wasn't written by another native speaker.
On the buffering part, I experience that while completely offline too (at the start). But it's definitely not using any data for me.
Since you're using Android, you could use a fake VPN app like this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.q4u.internetblocker
I haven't used it personally, but basically it sets up a local "VPN" to intercept your traffic and will selectively deny network access to the apps you want.
I doubt that it was removed. Look for it in the All Collections Collection or try this link https://www.disneyplus.com/franchise/the-simpsons.
By the way, there isn't actually a Simpsons Christmas Collection yet.

uBlock Origin user here, this worked for me.
Click the uBlock Origin button, then Dashboard (the three horizontal lines with dots.)
Go to the whitelist tab, click inside the text box and put "https://www.disneyplus.com/" (no quotation marks) on its own line, then apply changes.
It's in the Subscriber Agreement on their site. It'd make sense for them to make you check a box that says you agree during the sign up process though.
Link to Extended Cut Since Disney only put the shortest Theatrical Cut on D+ and in theaters, track down this version. It has 16 minutes of additional footage and is an all around better film in just about every single way.
Lucas is a petty, jealous, bitter person, but Marcia must have the best PR team of all time for this myth of her “saving Star Wars” to have spread so far and wide.
She did do a small amount of editing work on the initial cut of Star Wars, but left the project altogether after a disastrous test screening. It was GL who then personally put thousands of hours in the editing room—all uncredited because he didn’t officially belong to the professional editors guild—and saved his film.
The academy awarded Oscars to the editing team, but left out GL—again, not a member of the guild—which I believe Lucas took as a huge slap in the face after putting in more work cutting and splicing celluloid than virtually the entire editing staff combined.
Should mention that despite GL’s resentment of her work and recognition, some of her influence on Star Wars persists. Most notably, Leia kissing Luke “for luck” as they make a daring escape from the Death Star was 100% Marcia’s suggestion and exists in all cuts of the film today.

You also forgot Freevee some of em are on Freevee and Tubi But thats cause of preexisting contracts but the HBO deal ends this year so hopefully starting 2023 All the library is there and theres even more films in Disney+ and more mature content cause using ExpressVPN to watch Disney+ Mature content is getting type wack now and the fact I have Hulu and much prefer to use the VPN says a lot bout the Hulu Ui
Ngl don’t let Disney gate keep you just use a VPN and access the show from another country tbh that’s what I do since here in the US the library of shows and films is very limited and paying for Hulu just to enjoy 20th Century and ABC’s Catalog is too much but I want you know that Disney has a GeoBlock for VPNs n the only VPn that bypasses that is ExpressVPN so don’t go thru every vpn like I did n just use ExpressVPN
I'm using NordVPN, the same VPN that worked on Disney+ months ago but not longer does. Nord still works just fine for me on HBO Max, and I use the Europe and Latin American versions of it all the time. Disney+, though, just defaults back to U.S. Disney+ no matter what country I pick.
Yes it's possible but you can only buy a gift card in the same country where subscriber lives. eg if you like in the UK and the subscriber lives in the US, you need to buy the gift card on the US website.
This is for the US : https://www.disneyplus.com/welcome/gift-subscription
It will probably work like the Hulu and Spotify bundle did (or the current Hulu and Spotify student bundle). Since Spotify was the service offering the bundle (aka subsidizing/discounting it), the sign up was through Spotify's site. ~~Therefore anyone wanting to have the bundle had to cancel their Hulu account or put it on hold.~~
Disney+ hasn't provided any further details but since there are three services involved, it is likely the other two will be added through the Disney+ website or app. (I strongly recommend using the website if so). ~~You may able to your Hulu account on "hold" while the promo is going on~~ (it is possible this is a limited time offer). (See Hulu's help pages for more information or ask r/Hulu how to do this.)
The only other details we know is that it for the $5.99 Hulu plan with ads and that it may be limited to one stream for Hulu (rather than the current 2) but that ESPN+ and Disney+ will have the usual number. (Only one news article said that so it may an error.)
One thing to note, if you have any promo with Hulu or any other similar service, never sign up to do a "free trial" of a more expensive package (say for example Hulu with Live TV) during the promo or you will lose the promo (You are no longer a "new customer" and you "can't sign up for two promos at once" and finally because the first promo is no longer offered.)
Edit: I forgot that only people with live tv and add-ons had difficulty. Plain $5.99 Hulu was fine - every other plan had to be changed or canceled. But you had to switch the billing to spotify and you couldn't use 3rd party billing like Roku or Amazon.
Okay so first login to your account without the proxy. Then connect to UK or whichever country you want. I had access to a friend's US account (I live in India) and I used ExpressVPN on his account and it actually let me watch some of the Star content and even the Star tab was visible.
P.S.: I did it on my phone and a Windows 11 laptop running the Android app. Not sure how it'd have gone if I used other devices.
https://www.disneyplus.com/en-gb/editorial/sports-documentaries
That should link you to all the 30 for 30s in your country but there is no way to sort by date.
Same error in Perth, AU. The website keeps redirectng me to the EU site https://www.disneyplus.com/eu/en-gb/service-unavailable even though my IP is in Australia.
AFAIK, you got them all in your list (at least the Walt era ones). It's too bad they haven't put more of these shows on D+. I was just looking at the contents of the old Walt Disney Treasures DVD sets and I came up with this list of anthology episodes that should be "ready-to-go" and easy for them to put on the streaming service.

1954: The Disneyland Story
1955: Man and the Moon
1956: Where Do the Stories Come From?
1957: The Fourth Anniversary Show
1957: Our Friend the Atom
1957: The Tricks of Our Trade
1959: I Captured the King of The Leprechauns
1961: Backstage Party
1962: Disneyland After Dark
1962: The Golden Horseshoe Revue
1964: Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair
1965: Disneyland 10th Anniversary

That's a lot, and that's not even including the special stuff like Zorro. Hopefully we'll get some of this stuff on D+ soon... it would certainly be easier than tracking down overpriced secondhand copies of the DVDs!
As for organization of their old content, I've found this to be useful: https://www.disneyplus.com/editorial/disney-through-the-decades
https://www.disneyplus.com/editorial/disney-through-the-decades
This link works on the PC, was also going threw the list from the beginning, I made it half way threw the 70's when Disney removed the group. Now does anyone know how to access the list on a streaming device.
it is being sent by this address: [email protected], i don't know if it looks suspicous. Also when i click the link it redirects me to the same site as if i clicked it on google https://www.disneyplus.com/es-419/account-hold it says "account hold" because i already logged in on the website
You said you don't read this sub but yet you came here to complain about this lack of email that the sub has nothing to do with?
Secondly their terms of service say they reserve the right to change their prices and that they will attempt to email you notice in advance although it does not say they must. See this page. But you will have to ask them why you didn't get an email or check your spam folder. Frequently emails like this end up in spam or not delivered depending on your email provider.
You have the option to cancel whenever you wish.
I found it here: https://www.disneyplus.com/editorial/disney-through-the-decades
But it seems access to the collection through any kind of app is no longer an option unfortunately. Hopefully they bring it back.
I noticed that the url changed to https://www.disneyplus.com/en-gb/home, which would explain the region error people are getting. I am definitely not en-gb (Great Britain): I'm in California.
Sheriff Callie and Doc McStuffins are great shows for little kids. I'm sure Chuggington has a "Fire Rescue" type episode but that isn't on D+, it's on Hulu currently.
You can't really go wrong with any of the Disney Junior shows in general
Just found this and now I'm excited. Tron Legacy, Treasure Planet, Agent Carter, One Strange Rock, Inhumans, Recess (!), Atlantis (!!). I wasn't expecting all of that on that list, and for £4 p/m, it's getting binged especially if we're locked up for 3 months!
Justwatch is good, you can also use it to compare content between countries. But they don't have D+ yet for UK. Hopefully it's added right after release.
https://www.justwatch.com/uk
Disney adds stuff there all the time, in addition to the new episodes of ongoing shows. Why not promote the new arrivals?
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/disney-plus/new
This seems pretty reliable although I don't think it mentions what's been removed. Just what's added. https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/disney-plus/new
So glad to have found this thread. I'm having the same problem (also UK). I've just been through to Disney's live chat for the 2nd time this week and informed them of everything I've learned from this thread to hopefully get it fixed, at first they had me try out my speed and 'loaded' latency from this website https://fast.com/# , took my IP address, information of the devices I've failed to connect through WiFi with (PS4, phone, laptop) and eventually tried to do a location override on the IP. Didn't work and the issue remained. I then had to go back on and speak to another person (as I had to turn my router off for the location override and therefore ended my chat with the first person).
This person acknowledged that there was an "IP block", eventually they started talking to the tech team, and after a grand total of 2.5 hours: "from what the tech guy is telling me its the loaded latency thats causing the issue for the disney plus app" I asked how to solve that: "since you already power cycled the router the best bet would be to contact your internet providers and most likely get a new router because higher latency usually is an issue with the box".
And that's that, I'll call my ISP tomorrow who will likely give me the run around. Doesn't really seem like an issue that's going to be fixed, I'll just cancel my sub before the free trial ends I guess.

I found it via Google Search. Sometimes collections show up via search engines but not on the website/app itself, especially when they’re new or seasonal, I don’t know why. You can also access other seasonal collections that aren’t active right now, such as Christmas or Valentine’s Day, via Google Search.
https://www.disneyplus.com/fr-fr/editorial/halloween (the URL is for France, I’m not sure why, but I can confirm that it will work in the US)
It is not in the current selection in the app, you should be able to use the Collection's URL (https://www.disneyplus.com/franchise/walt-disney-animation-studios) by highlighting it and selecting the Disney+ app option (I know this works on Android, not sure about IOS)

I know this is an old post, but I was looking for it today as I got told it was worth watching. I've found a link to it which has a release date and bio but no way to play it.
https://www.disneyplus.com/en-gb/series/bluey/1xy9TAOQ0M3r
It's an Australian company that makes it and its available for free over there, so I'd understand if it wasn't on Disney+ there, but not for the UK
I ran a Google search and found a landing page for it on D+, but it gives an error code 41 when I click on it, which can mean one of three things:
It was previously available but no longer is.
It will be available in the future but the date has not been announced.
It is currently available in at least one country but there is no announced date in the country you are in (the US in my case).
I’m not familiar with the status of this film on D+ (never even heard of it before I saw this post to be honest) so I’m not sure which of the 3 it is, but it seems from what you said about some sites saying it’s available and others saying it’s not that it’s probably situation 1, as D+ doesn’t announce when movies leave so we only know when users report something being missing.
The landing page link if you’re wondering is https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/bridge-to-terabithia/6Czf0V5vqJvh
(The search is used to find it was “bridge to terabithia site:disneyplus.com”)
i was wondering the same thing. it doesnt show up when i search it but if i click this link it takes me to the bio page but with no play option. anyone else have any luck?
10 Things I Hate About You is on Disney+. May not be promoted, but it kinda undercuts that idea that this is a simple distinction.
https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/10-things-i-hate-about-you/10OzquDiTIJB
I think the rule is more like, things that people might notice and complain about are excluded.
This could be a regional thing, but it's on the US Disney Plus
https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/marvel-studios-iron-man-2/lXjCr9QmGGQJ
It was a title that had streaming rights owned by Netflix until late last year, so it is possible the same scenario where you are?
Seems like it didn't get on Canadian Disney+ yet.
Here's the link: https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/jane-goodall-the-hope/d33qOTxh4qHB
It has /en-gb/, yes. For example your link becomes https://www.disneyplus.com/en-gb/series/marvels-agents-of-shield/2UT4VQrwpVgi
Your link isn't "native", though. You can likely strip out the country specifier of every series on D+ and it'll do exactly what your link does. All it means is the series exists, but isn't available to you.
You would probably have to go to your account (https://www.disneyplus.com/account/subscription) cancel your current subscription, and then at the the end of the billing period resubscribe for the annual plan. When you cancel, you will still have access until the end of your billing period which the date is listed on that page.
I've got an odd billing problem: I updated my card info yesterday, but the D+ page still shows me a "Payment Failed" message. Streaming does still work however. Streaming does not work on Hulu, where I get this message: "We can't charge your account. Your Disney-billed Hulu account is on hold. To continue enjoying Hulu, please update your bundle subscription by visiting the "Billing Details" page at www.disneyplus.com or calling Disney Customer Service at 888-905-7888."
Called my bank, which shows the transaction was approved. When I got through to Disney+ on the phone, they suggested that maybe it would get better if I just waited another day (it has already been a full day since I updated the card info) but otherwise didn't have anything to offer. Is anyone having this issue?
The "bundle option" does. Its HULU, ESPN+ and Disney+
That usually only happens if you subscribed through something else like iTunes billing where you have to cancel from the source you signed up from. But the bundle should only be available directly from Disney. I would contact Disney+ to cancel if the option doesn’t show up.
Alternatively try this: https://www.disneyplus.com/account/cancel-subscription
That’s the link provided in the email confirming your subscription for where to go to cancel.
You dont really need an app for browser based services on a PC just open a webpage, so most companies don't bother.
You can create an kind of "Faux" app. Create a desktop/start menu shortcut to "https://www.disneyplus.com/login" and save your login credentials.
Also if you feel super ambitious making an app for web based service is can be super easy, essentially just build a browser container and send it to the webpage lol, quick and dirty works 90% of the time.
When I do try to access from a web browser the address line for the “Please contact customer service” message is “https://www.disneyplus.com/account-blocked”
This is the message we see when trying to access our account.
Same here. When I try to login via the website I get taken to : https://www.disneyplus.com/account-blocked
I can't fathom how a major corporation can't resolve an issue affecting hundreds or thousands of accounts from launch day WEEKS later. Ridiculous.
This article has affiliate links. You can sign up directly on Disney's site. Here is the official tweet.
Read the agreement before agreeing to it...
From the Dutch version:
> 2c [...] We do not refund or credit for partially used billing periods.
We all agreed to this (or similar), after reading it carefully, of course.
Not sure if you mean "what is pixar in real life?" or "what do you mean they stopped?"
If the former, it's this show: https://collider.com/disney-plus-pixar-irl-trailer/
Currently only one episode is out: https://www.disneyplus.com/series/pixar-in-real-life/4tVWs1lVtwL8
Riverdale87 is asking why there's no new episodes listed in the December release schedule linked.
I signed up early with the D23 bundle, and I'm getting that https://www.disneyplus.com/account-blocked page when I try to log in too.
I ended up creating a 7 day free trial account with a separate email address. Allowed me to watch the Mandalorian lsat night, now I just need to cancel it in time, but hopefully next week they have the account blocked issue worked out.
I spent 2 hours 30 minutes on hold with the number they provided earlier today, I know they're swamped, but that was a lot of time.
Firstly don't make a new account.
With a web browser go to https://www.disneyplus.com/account
Sign in if asked and everything you need should be there. Mine (currently monthly) says, "Switch to bundle and save"
However I am a currently Hulu subscriber with the same email so maybe yours would be different but start at that account URL
Mine just spins because it doesn't recognize me as being in a country with Disney Plus, but I am. If I try on my iPad or Android app, it says i'm in the wrong country with error 73.
What I did to fix it was set up a mobile hotspot with my phone, because it does recognize my phone network as being Canadian for some reason. I connected to that on my computer just long enough to log in, then went back to my wifi.
Try that maybe to see if it helps!
So, my current workaround:
Sticking point is home network and regular login point.
Everything works fine once you pass the login screen.

Then click the "activate" link in the following email and login to your existing Hulu account. The confirmation email seems to be delayed because of their volume but I was able to link my Hulu live sub this morning
I pre-registered in October and received a confirmation email, but when I try to log in, I get the "Please contact customer service" message (URL https://www.disneyplus.com/account-blocked, which is concerning/confusing). I would love to know what the issue is, but I'm sure customer service is being bombarded at the moment.
origin 'https://www.disneyplus.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource
There appear to be some front end development issues for the web portal.
I couldn't find an email with login info or any "Welcome to Disney+" anything. I only found the email with instructions on how to activate the 3 year preorder in my D23 account. So I just went to www.disneyplus.com and clicked "login". I used the email I signed up for D23 with as my username and then I was sent a 6-digit code to that email address to confirm. Once I did that, I was able to create a password and log into Disney+. Best day ever!! Good luck and happy streaming!!
https://www.disneyplus.com/video/[crazy amount of random looking characters]
Unfortunately I don't even know if that "crazy characters" portion changes per user, per video, etc. It's a really long URL.
I just tried the only URL I had saved in my history (Mandalorian) and it wouldn't load, unfortunately.
Seems like the login link/button doesn't work anymore. Can't click anything on the homepage and there are no login links in de code, only other country pages.
Scan your computer with Malwarebytes just to make sure you don't have any malware.
Change your email password to something random like what this site generates https://1password.com/password-generator/.
Cancel your Disney+ account and create a new one with a random password like from above.
Start changing other accounts passwords, use a password manager if you need to.
