Oh that makes a lot more sense. I was thinking of binders like this and was wondering why that was such a big deal
Just make an effort to keep identifiable personal information out of what you post on the internet.
Personally, I’m okay with people knowing what state I’m from. But I try my hardest to never reveal information that was specific enough to lead people somewhere specific.
I’m a fairly paranoid person, so I use a VPN 99% of the time when I’m connected to the internet just in case some leak happens and specific info is exposed. If you feel the need to do this, I recommend ProtonVPN.
"Hi guys it's Dream here and if you don't want to get doxxed like me and have your personal information spread all over the internet then consider getting NordVPN. NordVPN allows you to browse all kinds of things from servers from all over the world..."
I made a simulation of this coin flip scenario (mostly for people not comfortable with maths) in order to understand better that the astrophysicist was wrong here.
I think he started out thinking it would be a fun video idea and then got a sponsor (NordVPN I think) but the problem is that he is now forced to post a video at the end of the month because of his contract. He then probably realized that either dream cheated or that a lot of people would be mad at him no matter what. So instead he beats around the bush so that he can piss no one off (that didn’t seem to work.
