I'm not... the magazine no longer includes access to Insider.. it's separate now with ESPN+
Are you asking about memory usage? I don't use the ESPN Radio app for podcasts, I use Pocketcasts. I imagine that the ESPN Radio app uses a cache and only "saves" the 20 podcasts you have in the downloaded section and deletes the oldest one when you press download. If you're worried they're taking up too much space, you could try downloading the DiskUsage tool to find out what is taking up space and whether or not those podcasts are still on your phone. Hopefully this helps. If not, feel free to clarify.
Just want to close the loop here... I also think it will be helpful for others to read if they are asking the same questions. I got this to work on my Apple TV as follows:

What I did notice was that I had to be logged in with my UK apple ID to get the NHL app to work. If I opened the UK NHL app while logged in with my normal apple ID, it didnt work.
Switching between apple ID's on the appleTV is simple so this really isnt a burden. Lastly, the only time I have to enter the smart DNS is when I want to watch my local team. This will avoid the blackouts. All other games will stream with no issue using the UK NHL App while logged in with my UK apple ID
This was very simple to do and I am glad I figured it out with the help of Reddit and the unlocator customer service. Thank You!
GO BRUINS!!!
You should look into your cable providers steaming services. I have cable options through Spectrum. They offer a 10 channel package (You pick the channels out of a list of like 50) and local channels through their app for $21/mo.
Also, SlingTV is a steaming service owned by Dish Network. It's fantastic. The base package has about 20 channels, and you can add a variety of other bundled like channels for small amounts as well. It's got a great app and it works great. I had that, but really wanted local channels which they dont offer so I now have the Spectrum package, but they're great.
I cancelled Netflix because I was cool with just this base package. Also, you're likely correct these cable companies have some sort of non-compete clause with ESPN, where they own the rights to show the programming and thus ESPN cannot offer the channels as their standalone product.

That is the best I could do. Sadly judging from a few articles I read it looks like Fox went cheap for the radio and are using their tv broadcast as the radio.
Yeah that is really weird. Maybe because I have Unlocator active it works for me? Maybe try going through that? Or here is a link to the login, maybe this will work:. ;campaignCode=NHL_GLOBAL_PURCHASE_CMPGN&voucherCode=NHL_GLOBAL_PURCHASE_VOCHR&sku=8750310000949910222101000&locale=en_US
You only need the smartdns, Unlocator will do it automatically. That is the benefit of using their service they will route traffic for the correct service appropriately. Just note that NHL/MLB use the same servers as Disney+/ESPN+ so when your log into your Unlocator account and click on Regions under SmartDNS you'll see an option to choose between the 2. You have to set it to MLB/NHL and it'll make you look like your outta the country so the will work and then you will have to change it back for when you wanna use Disney or ESPN because those 2 won't work outside the US haha.
