I sped up to make it through a yellow light at an intersection. The intersection was one of those sharp transitions from a downhill to a flat. There was a pothole right at the transition and it bounced me off. I ended up falling off the back of my MSX and landing on my ass, then rolled and slid across the intersection on my hands and knees.
I was wearing all my gear including my BodyProx hip/butt protection which I never usually wear and it really saved me. The hip/putt protection is under used IMO. My other gear was Leatt Dual Axis knee pads, Fox Titan full upper body armor, and this wrist guard/glove setup. There is road rash on all of my gear but I didn't get a scratch. My left butt cheek slammed against the pavement so its pretty sore, and my entire body feels sore like I got in a car crash (or like I have the flu) but I feel really lucky and if anything I'm more confident now and less scared to fall.
My MSX needs new side pads, I had some home-made ones on there and they took most of the damage. Case looks like someone took a belt sander to it in a couple spots but the shell didn't split like they do in a lot of MSX falls.

Ulock work for some of the wheel that have spoke type rims
A cable or chair threaded through the handle
You can also find wheel bags for the lighter weighted wheels. Never tired them though
It terms of them knock you off your you could aattach a bungee line to you. That will have its own pros and cons. I used this while I was still learning to dismount on/off on hills. I attached it to a magnet clip so if I did crash it wouldn’t take me with it but if it got away I could tug on the strap.

My approach is just try to take the wheel with me wherever I go.
I was thinking the same thing for the shoulder protection, but I ended up getting this and love it. Really really Interesting, we’ll we all know Insurance is there to make money from the long periods of “claim free” commuting. So I don’t think they will make a business decision on them anytime soon, they will hang in a grey area for a while, but you can take steps to prevent theft like this horn and as far as damage goes try the bumper strips to prevent cosmetic damage, anything more and all parts are cheap and replaceable, hope this helps
This is the one I got and like using. It has a bleeder valve and a engage/disengage switch so you don’t lose any pressure. No complaints here.

works great on hillbillys, feels great without gloves too.
Are those bumpers the same as these ones? Are they plastic? Trying to find some that won't break and that I can easily move back into position after a crash. The ones I have tend to shift when I fall and It takes a bunch of unscrewing and re-screwing things to get them back into place.
re lights: what about just wearing your raver lights (ie, your LED-covered fur cloak) while riding? Wouldn't that be more shiny and visible than just on the wheel which is obscured by your feet? After the last two times I had to disassemble the wheel to change a flat, I really don't want all that fiddly wiring running around inside the wheel, no matter what fashion says.
re sound: My KS18 has a speaker, and I've switched back to an on-body speaker, because the sound is better. Yeah, carrying a speaker is annoying, but sound quality trumps.
re: headlamp. Angles are not adjustable you can add MORE LIGHTS because MORE IS ALWAYS RIGHT. If you put a gopro mount on the top of your wheel, you can add one of these just while you're riding at night: https://www.amazon.com/Suptig-Dimmable-Waterproof-Underwater-Cameras/dp/B07BCC4VQW I don't have this brand, but I have similar, and its crazy. It lights very wide and pretty far. It's like having a jacked-up lightbar on your CIVIC. People will hate you but you'll pick up every possible pebble in your way.
Yoga blocks are high density EVA foams, so they might be too hard. But the combination of using it with thicker Neoprene sheets might work the best I think. This version of my pads actually combine the jump portion of the pads as well. That's why they come down longer than the back pads. I'm also thinking of inserting a neodymium disc magnets in the jump portion of the pads before wrapping it w/ neoprene sheets so the pedals will fold up on my next (5th) version.

"
It's a really great app.

It also changes as you get more comfortable, because you stop gripping the wheel so hard - although some people live and die by their pads :-) Just keep rollin'!
I ended up putting these on my KS18 and love it. Goes right over the KS18 existing pads. You just use the "edge parts", and put the bumpy part _forward_ and slanted the same way your leg goes, so they help you keep a good bent knee and give a place for the knee to rest on longer trips, as well as increasing friction and giving a little extra pad. YMMV of course.

KS18L owner. Liked the lights and speakers for about 2 months. Realized if I want mobile tunes I can clip a speaker to my belt. Lights are visible only at night, and if you're lit enough to be safe, no one sees the lights.

Gotway Android App used to not be on the Google Play Store, but is now: Gotway App v3.0.6
• this should be the latest Gotway Android app, but that does not necessarily mean this is the best version of the app, so if you face issues, searching EUC forums for previous versions, both v2 & earlier versions of v3, can help
My ankles got pretty bruised up the first couple of weeks also. I bought some padded ankle straps, cut the loops off, and wrapped them around some of that baby bumper padding on both ankles. That's saved me from further bruising, except of course for the time I though I didn't need them anymore, left them off, then pedal-clipped my left leg. Still having fun though!

Some people find motorcycles helmets to be too heavy, and it makes it hard to turn your head. Lower visibility can be counterproductive for safety. This is the best one I've found. It's not easy mounting it to most full-faced helmets, but with enough tape and glue it stays in place very well. It provides plenty of visibility of the road behind me with a small glance to my left.
Yeah thats why i don’t mess with plug in stuff tbh i just use this https://www.amazon.com/JBL-Clip-Black-Noise-Cancelling-Speakerphone/dp/B07Q6ZWMLR?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=AAK72K4OIWDXL plenty loud, lots of battery life, distinct buttons that are easy to feel out without having to look down/ take your eyes off the road, and it is super easy to attach to almost anything. I love this thing

Most of the time I go to google maps or Apple maps and carefully look as to how I get somewhere. Motorcycles are even more dangerous when you have to use your phone, and people almost always drop their phones given enough time using them with bulky gloves or precariously attached to a phone mount on their bike.
However, when I need electronic navigation then I use a tank bag that comes with a clear pouch on top.
I put a cheap Amazon fire tablet in it (to put google maps, set device to developer, install google play store, then add google maps). Set your phone and your tablet to hotspot usage. Amazon tablets cost, what? $50? $40? And a tablet will run like 8 hours.
I strongly recommend not using a phone on a bike because riders drop and break their phones all the time. It's just too easy even with a mount.
Wow I installed the app in motion from the app store but it's gone still on my phone though.

I switch between the official app and this app. I guess you're going to have to just use this one.

It's certainly electrically doable, all you need is a converter something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M6NWVTM
If the Steam Deck runs off a wall wart then you'd want to get a converter that can produce the voltage it needs. Converting the battery output to 120 volts AC and plugging in the wall wart is another option but really wasteful of power due to all the conversions going on.
The wiring mods to tap into the battery are likely to be the dicey part. Find a safe way to route the wiring and put the output somewhere it won't be damaged by a fall. If you do it I'd also put a fuse on both sides of the converter just to be safe. Maybe 5 amps on the 100v side and 20 amps on the 12 volt side.
Don't trust me. Wirecutter likes this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001JPS200/?tag=thewire06-20&linkCode=xm2&ascsubtag=AwEAAAAAAAAAAOls. Outdoorgearlab likes it, too. Alternatively, you can get the u-lock version, which gets ranked very highly as well.
My opinion: Subjectively, if you get two locks, that's a lot more of a deterrent, because thieves really don't want to have to fight two locks..and yes, while living in DC and NY, I have spoken with more than one bike thief. They want a quick steal, not a project.
Also, I would think going through the wheel itself would be much better than the handle. I am not sure a u lock on a handle would deter anyone other than a casual thief - just cut through the handle. That would be way, way faster than cutting through the lock.
Although I am sure there is a market for stolen EUCs, I would think that market would be much smaller than that for stolen bikes (which really don't sell for much money anyway). Just like it is harder to sell a stolen Ferrari than a Civic, I would think the same would apply to an EUC. Nonetheless, if the neighborhood isn't that bad, I find it hard to imagine some yahoo would drive up with a grinder, saw through your FAHGETTABOUDIT bike lock in front of the gym door (which is where it should be locked up) with folks going in and out on a regular, and lob it into the trunk. If so, you better look out for your catalytic converter, too.
Short answer is no there is no way to ensure your wheels safety unless you or someone you trust is always watching it id say appeal to your gym to see if you can and if not then go to another gym that will let you if neither of those are realistic options then the next best thing is to get https://www.amazon.com/Kryptonite-Evolution-Integrated-Chain-Bicycle/dp/B006QN0MI0/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=399KPN7DC5OI7&keywords=kryptonite+chain+lock&qid=1667359114&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0Ljk1IiwicXNhIjoiNC44MSIsInFzcCI6IjQuNTEifQ%3D%3D&spre... and https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Anti-Theft-Vibration-Motorcycle-Waterproof/dp/B0734QN8KR/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=VBTTBR3J8I5S&keywords=motion+sensor+bike+alarm&qid=1667359141&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjEyIiwicXNhIjoiMi4zNCIsInFzcCI6IjEuODgifQ%3D%3D&... do not waste your time or $ on wire locks, solid bar locks or combination locks they are significantly easier to compromise via either brute force or picking trust me its not worth losing your several thousand dollar toy forever over a cheap lock other than using the items i linked id recommend not hiding your wheel out of sight have it out and in the open where plenty of ppl can see it the higher traffic area the better risk of being seen or caught is the best deterrent for thieves
This is the bluetooth helmet module I use, it fits well inside a downhill cycling helmet. I have a bit of a gap between the pads and my ears so I can hear traffic better. Bone-conducting headphones are another option here that let you still hear ambient/traffic sounds, but I don't know how well they'd fit with a helmet.
Assuming they already have safety gear (which is a #1 priority for EUC gear, but which they should already have, and is also very personal regarding fit/comfort so perhaps harder to gift), and if you're looking for something a little nicer/upscale and more useful than most of the other random 'accessories' that are often of questionable utility, I highly recommend a bluetooth headset for their helmet such as the Cardo Freecom 4x: https://amazon.com/Cardo-Systems-Freecom-Single-Black/dp/B09MQ7C185/
Even if they don't have someone to ride with to utilize the immediate "communications" functionality, it's great for interfacing with a phone all the same ways you would use your phone in a car hands-free even by yourself--GPS directions, reading text messages to you, being able to take phone calls, sometimes listening to music depending on riding environment (great on isolated trails, perhaps a safety issue in more densely populated riding environments). And if they do have people to ride with (now or in the future), then the comms feature becomes the single best feature ever.
Ultimately after the traditional safety equipment (pads, lights for night visibility), the hands-free phone functionality even when solo and comms functionality when riding with others make such a bluetooth unit the next most valuable safety equipment.
I have Titan Pros. I'm not sure why they're listed as L1 online, since mine are marked as CE level 2 right on the pads. Model no. PFM12 if any lurkers are curious.
I just bought https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09HXMNY9N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 even though the light is not focused, but it is bright enough to illuminate the surrounding and let car driver knows that we're there.
So I ordered this from Amazon and I've just tried it out: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PDF4XVL
The connector is pretty easy to attach, and it works well. I don't know how long it'll last, but so far it's a great solution.
I used this for the body and foam pipe insulation for the roll cage on my sherman. I even left a baby padding strip on one side of the EUC for when I rest it against things.
Before every single ride.
I got some Motorcycle tpm and installed one on my wheel. Quick check with the app, and ready to ride.
This is the one I bought, but any of them will do if you can fit it. You might need an L connector.
Ya I got the M12. Its one of better & most oft used tools I ever bought. The quick release hose adapter is linked below. Makes inflating any type of tires a cinch
>I just tried wearing someone's helmet at a local gathering weighing ~1500-1600g and the impression was "not sure if I'm able to feel comfortable to wear this for a long time"
That's normal. Then you step on your EUC, your focus shifts, and you forget all about it. Since you have a normal neck I can pretty much guarantee that you can wear normal helmets.
In the programming world we call this mindset "premature optimization". It's a sure way to waste a lot of time.

I already think you've been looking at good motorcycle helmets, so I don't have more to say about that. Here's the generic bicycle mirror I've used for a year, on multiple helmets. It's supposed to attach to the inside of the helmet, but I moved the velcro adhesive so it attaches to the outside.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FRB8H8X bungee cord. I add velcro so it's not tied to me permanently. After crashing, the bungee tugs the wheel to give it stopping power before the velcro gives out and doesnt drag me along with it
Leaving aside the endless discussions of benefits and cons of leash / tether, I use the below item (though 90 cm long) looped through the handle of the wheel and hold it loosely by one hand instead of attaching it to belt or leg: https://www.amazon.com/EDELRID-Tubular-Sling-Slate-Oasis/dp/B00SVCU7L6/ Brand doesn't matter really here, any decent climbing tubular sling will do just fine.
You will be fine. The single biggest thing is to lubricate the sliders. You have to pry up those little dust covers and drop lubricant in. I’d recommend a dry lubricant like this one. https://www.amazon.com/Finish-Line-Stanchion-Fluoro-Squeeze/dp/B0015TT3V2/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=3AT55QU2MGT8O&keywords=dry+lubricant+stanchion&qid=1659541106&sprefix=dry+lubricant+stanchion%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-5
It's like not a single person actually read the contents of your post. Nearly every solution entails you having personal space at work.
While I know it's not ideal, when I've gone somewhere that I can't bring it in with me, I use a very solid bike lock (kind of like this one). One would have to disassemble the EUC, pick it, or grind it off . Throw on a bike alarm that activates on movement and I would bet you'd be pretty safe. Want to go a step further you can add some kind of a cover.
No particular brands, For the helmet I got myself a 100 dollar full face bike helmet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P5JSH6Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And for gear I got generic Chinese upper, lower, shin and wrist gear. You don't need to spend a lot of money on any of the gear, just make sure you have it. I had fallen real hard a couple of times in my cheap Chinese stuff and it all help up really well. Without that gear i would have had broken bones for sure. Upper body gear you must have for sure, I am 100% sure my clavicle would be broken if it wasn't for the protection. Thing is, when you fall from an EUC you fall VERY differently then you fall from a bike or a scooter. That's why upper body gear is so important.
I'm around 300#, and 46 years old.
No balance problems, but fairly uncoordinated in general.
I figure if you can take the risk of falls and injury, then here's a good test to see if you are capable:
find a gym (or buy) one of those ball things that are half a giant ball and the other half a flat platform to stand on. one of these things: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ODWO5RK
If you can stand on it with a hand on the wall, you are half-way there. If it feels like you'll eventually be able to stand on the balance trainer without a hand on the wall -- then you should be able to do the same on a EUC

It took me 6 or 7 one hour sessions, each at least a day apart, to get riding an EUC. There are a lot of guides on how to learn, a couple of things that really seemed important to me they don't mention much:

I changed the wheel on my MSX which is pretty much the same as an MSP. It took me about 2 hours using flathead screw drivers and marring the shit out of my rim. I recommend buying this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B5FXK61

Seems like they would offer more ankle protection than regular shoes
I use the Amazon number one Mr Pen as I figure 3000 reviewers can't be wrong. You'll need to buy the longboard version in order to cover both pedals.
You'll also need plastic razors to remove the original tape, and maybe other parts of the wheel such as when you replace the padding.
There are some really good soft ones i use here.
https://www.amazon.com/Demon-United-Mountain-Impact-Technology/dp/B07J1XZP3P
They have some magic witchcraft material that is soft but hardens on sudden impact
I have these and they don't give me any problems with visibility but, to be honest, they look similar to the ones you listed. Maybe I just don't notice? I look around a lot when riding as I'm a biker so I'm used to being hyper aware of cunts in cars.
Not OP but I bought a USB pump that a cycling friend recommended. Much easier to use and you can easily set the pressure.
I'm in love with the fake Clark pads. I've done about 3000 miles with them. They way tighter than any pads I've tried. The adhesive supplied sucks and the light in them are garbage but use Velcro or a double sided duct tape to apply and toss the lights. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0978T8R45/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_SAYN25SV98HG5VZZ36BC
Tethers are stretchy and will not hurt you in the event of an accident. Anyone saying otherwise is paranoid and spreading misinformation. A tether could easily save someone or something from being hit by a falling wheel. This is the tether I saw a few people use. They usually put it around their belt loop and then tie it/hook it through the handle of the EUC. You don't want so much slack that the tether can get caught/drag, but you don't want it to be super tight either.
I have these and love them. Super comfy and great protection. But I only wear them for downhill mountain biking, not for EUC and Onewheeling.

I used a thermal insulated backpack when doing deliveries, the one I got worked fine but I personally wish it was a bit larger. This is the one I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LL277VB , was large enough for most orders, but it won't fit a pizza. I'm considering maybe getting this backpack if I decide to do deliveries again (once I renew my license finally) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GFS77BP/
I get you on the wind blowing thing, it's a scary feeling carrying bags home from the store when I don't take my backpack and need to emergency grab something. Tuck bags against your skin between your arm and your chest if possible, and if you can't do that I use both hands to hold it and keep it directly in front of me. Definitely a hazard compared to using a backpack
I use a portable electric pump I keep in my backpack, if I don't bring the backpack I don't bring the pump. I use this pump https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B092ZX8NQ2 with this locking chuck https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MX882J8

I have much better luck now with my phone and one of these arm bands: https://www.amazon.com/VUP-Running-Armband-Rotatable-Walking/dp/B072C3SCW6/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=XR3QEO55F3XU&keywords=phone+band&qid=1652227704&sprefix=phone+band%2Caps%2C188&sr=8-5
If you're worried about your nice phone getting wrecked in a potential crash, you could just get an old Android for rides and you would probably do better than a watch.
I got this one and is ok. It moves around at the slightest touch but does stays in place against strong winds. I used 3M doublesided, plus duct tape to fasten it. Could be a bit bigger, but enough once you get used to it. Probably won't survive a drop or a fall.

Stupid that it’s $40 bucks, but I guess you get what you pay for. I’ve tried just about all the cheaper options on Amazon. This one is by far the best for me. Fixes to the helmet so you don’t have to spend time finding reference points each time (like with a hand mirror). Strong enough and flexible arm to get the thing where you want it, and it’ll hold there in the wind.
I was looking for one as well but I settled, instead, for using a bike GPS like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083QLWSMF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is inexpensive, simple, large display, long battery life; no need to pair; however, it won't give you wheel specifics such as voltage.
What about [this](https://www.amazon.com/Aosom-Enclosed-Bicycle-Cargo-Trailer/dp/B01HQGZH7Q/ref=sr\_1\_20?c=ts&keywords=Bike+Trailers&qid=1650484900&s=outdoor-recreation&sr=1-20&ts\_id=3403501) if I was going slow, under 15mph in only bike lanes and sidewalks?
I've got original pads but I'm using these ones instead :

Whole new shock, I had this before: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D497BM1
If you're looking for easy tuning, a coil shock unfortunately isn't it. There is nothing to tune besides rebound, adjusting the preload (pre-compressing the spring) doesn't change the spring rate (how far it travels per pound), only changes how many pounds you have to apply until it start moving. You don't want more than 1-2 turns of preload, otherwise it won't absorb small bumps.
If it's in a place with a camera you can bike lock it to something. Most people won't risk that say at a public outside bike rack, because they are so expensive and obviously someone can just cut the lock and steal it, but if it's inside company property and monitored by cameras I personally wouldn't have a problem with leaving mine locked up.
I own a V11 and unless im missing something obvious I could absolutely fit a thick metal bar U lock through the handle, maybe something like this?
Quick googling says 16mm is too big to be cut by normal bolt cutters.
I have one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CCH71H8 but swapped it out for my motorcycle jacket for winter. I have a bunch of gear, just got lazy and wasn't wearing as much as I should. Definitely a wake up call
My 16x came with this stock tire: 16×3″ Tire, Omega J-6188. Only thing liked about it was the long life of tread wear. This tire was terrible at higher speeds causing speed wobbles if you're not careful. Bumps seemed more noticeable and the tire also didn't play well with ruts in the pavement/trail and would sometimes cause the wheel to twist strangely and all the sudden.
Got this tire of Amazon per the recommendation of a friend and like it a lot more. If feels more stable even at higher speeds (my top is 31.1mph), bumps/ruts are not as big of a deal and it's easier to turn: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D8VGG5A/
I'm curious how it welds without melting. I'm game to try it though.
This?
IPS SciGrip Weld-on 58 Two-Part Urethane Adhesive for Polycarbonate, Butyrate, Polyurethane, PVC, PETG, Foam Board, ABS https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00K2CLB7C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_V2Z4KWSDZA2FY9T761VX
The brand keeps changing, but these work well. I've gone through 5 units, one for each helmet. Clear call clarity and good music https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099DX814Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Here is the one I found. This would work well I hope?
Gizmo Dorks Polycarbonate Filament for 3D Printers 3mm (2.85mm) 200g, Black https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074W7MT6B/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_CF5YCZAMDM73QWVQG6KX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You could also look into a helmet speaker/camera combo. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085G766T5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GTH1RR1X8NJZRA0NPRZ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I recently got one used (brand new) for around 90 dollars off Amazon warehouse. Camera allows you to record the commute and if any incidents happen it gets captured. Speakers can be easily mounted inside your TSG.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CCH71H8 This is pretty well liked among EUC riders, have heard it hold up to high speed Sherman and EX.N wrecks. Not sure how it'll be in the blistering heat of florida. I've heard good things about Leatt and Alpinestars as well, but not sure if they'd hold up to your heat
Haha looking at me, I ride pretty much rain or shine and one of these days it'll catch up to me. Have you ever tried this style of chest armor?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CCH71H8
The armor gets tightened down onto your arm so it might hold up better assuming you tighten it enough. I've heard pretty good things from the community about it. I have one but haven't taken a spill on my euc yet, and for the winter time I'm just wearing an HWK motorcycle jacket to stay warm. Hope you and your wheel feel better soon
Depending on conditions, I either wear a Leatt Body protector 5.5 or an armored hoodie with Fox Titan Pro D30 elbow guards underneath it. I found the built-in elbow guards in the hoodie floated too much, so I opted for an upgraded set of pads.
Those particular pads have great forearm coverage, and provide hard protection above the elbow. Not cheap, but they provide great impact protection while not restricting range of motion as much as many others. They're a little tight, but I hope they will loosen up a tiny bit as they break in.
Since I ride mostly on pavement, motorcycle gloves with pucks for sliding are pretty efficient.
Leatt knee/shin pads for the legs, and either a Fox proframe helmet for slower/off-road rides or a sedici motorcycle helmet when going fast or riding in traffic. I'm thinking of getting a TSG pass helmet, but before I pull the trigger, I want to better understand what speeds/conditions I can use it for.
Looking on the forums the V8 doesn't have much tire clearance, so other tires, especially offroad tires, seem to have a lot of trouble. I'd recommend getting some free turn tires off amazon and measuring them to make sure they'd fit without having to cut off any of the knobs, width and height could cause issues. This tire looks pretty good if it would work https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0088X25CW
https://www.amazon.com/LEXIN-Motorcycle-Bluetooth-Commnunication-Universal/dp/B08XNMNYW6
Experienced no wind noise, music sounded fine to me, easy to set up and pair, range test of about a half mile yielded no decrease in quality of communication. ..thats my 2 cents.
Pretty durable, you can also "babyproof" your wheel with something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093BJ452W it's what a lot of stunt riders will do. For a commuter wheel I'd say water resistance is pretty important so those are the only wheels I'd actively consider, the larger Wh the battery pack is, the more range you'll get. Here's a little chart I made for someone else a few days back
Inmotion V10F: $1599 25MPH, 960Wh battery
Kingsong 18XL: $2050 31MPH, 1554Wh battery
Begode Nikola+: $2175 ~40MPH, 1800Wh battery
Inmotion V12: $2299 ~43MPH 1750Wh battery
Begode Nikola AR+: $2599 ~40MPH, 2700Wh battery
Veteran Sherman: $3400 (freemotion) ~45MPH, 3200Wh battery
I know you came from onewheels, if you love carving I wouldn't recommend the Sherman as it's massive size would limit that, all the other wheels on this list are 18in or smaller, I ride the 18XL and I can carve for days on it
Snowboarding gloves are too thick for my wrist guards. I use the koxly winter touch gloves instead. Much thinner and yet warm at 40F in Illinois. Touch fingers also work great for grabbing stuff (keys, phone, touchscreen, etc.)
I put these under my Triple Eight wrist protectors...John Tillman and Co Large Black and Gold TrueFit Cowhide and Spandex Full Finger Mechanics Gloves with ElasticHook and Loop Cuff https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000IV8V5M/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_XC4BAN0EM5GM81WBB4KE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Sounds great for gear but I gotta recommend a full face helmet, when falling from euc there's a solid chance you smack your jaw. I'm a budget guy so I always recommend either the Bell Servo BMX helmet (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FQT4U9C) for $59.99 or getting a cheap ECE 22.05 motorcycle helmet (https://www.revzilla.com/ece-2205-motorcycle-helmets) (sort price low to high). Sadly the Bell Servo only comes in one size so if it isn't a fit for you oof
>Ender 3 V2
Thx! I was searching through thingiverse and there's so many things there! It's amazing that you can download and print any model already designed from all who are sharing! Love it! It's an extension to the openhearted EUC community here and the forum def a great way to help us newbies! :D

Have to do more research on 3D Machines to decide which one will be best for me potential use, space, and budget.
I'm guessing this was the one you used based on the color https://www.amazon.com/3D-Solutech-Filament-Dimensional-Accuracy/dp/B00ME7A1II
I printed it on my Ender 3 V2
You can download any model off thingiverse to print, I use the software Ultimaker Cura to send to my printer.
I printed it in 3D Solutech PLA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GFVQGFX
Wear gloves!! Thin gloves under normal wristguards is better than nothing, but I highly recommend purchasing snowboarding gloves with wrist guards built into them. If your hands are cold while you're riding, tuck them behind your back in an "at ease" position. Don't clasp them, which can make it harder to react in case of an emergency, but keeping them together and out of the wind makes a huge difference.
Where did you find that piece of spine armor?
I usually have that book bag filled to the rim lol while coming from NJ to NYC.

I ordered this which I will put my layers and jacket under lol which seems to have back support too
>Dakine Heli 12L
Thx! Love the style!
However, unavailable. However, not sure what makes it a spine protector?

Would any book bag do?
What do you think of the one below? I use it while biking or using my e-Scooter
You should be all set as long as you have your riding gear. full face BMX helmet for ece 22.05 motorcycle helmet, and wrist guards are the bare minimum IMO. From there you can get knee guards, elbow guards, and a motorcycle jacket/bmx jacket if you wanted. I also recommend getting a hand mirror like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TCGD96 makes me feel so much safer riding on the street. I also recommend either getting a armband phone mount or a smartwatch to monitor your speed while riding, I feel a lot a safer, especially at low battery, when I can look at my arm and see how fast I'm going in EUC World
