P100, N95, KF94, or KN95. These are standards approved by a federal government. However I am wary of KN95 as a Chinese standard with many knock-offs.
I don't know what GATA is and unless they are claiming a government standard, manufacturers can say whatever they like.
The easiest answer right now is N95s for adults, and KF94s for kids. I bought these.
We are in the same situation in Hillsborough, and we also have a meeting on July 27th. Please, please, if there is ANY way pro-science folks can attend, please sign up to speak!! There are not enough of us speaking up.
some people like the honeywell better than the 3M

by end of month might even be cheaper than kn95 since 200-300 million people will no longer be wearing any
make sure it says "sold by amazon" as well as "shipped by" for real masks
I was trying to find something like the sticker they gave me "I got my COVID-19 Vaccine" and a syringe but that's the closest one I found.
Besides there were millions of victims it's kind of smug to declare victory, some might find it insensitive.

Follow Dr. Jolene Brighten on Instagram. She's been battling COVID and been on Oxygen for about a month now, slowwwwly getting better. She also nebulizes with NAC. Idk what it is but there are some published studies she cites saying it's beneficial. Wouldn't hurt to ask as a doctor can prescribe it.

Also another podcast by an m.d. on things like hydrogen peroxide ventilation as well. Please don't overlook this, read the transcript and ask if a doctor would feel comfortable doing alternative therapies. Read the transscipts for this podcast, look up and show them the cited work. https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9yc3MuYXJ0MTkuY29tL2J1bGxldHByb29mLXJhZGlv&ep=14&episode=Z2lkOi8vYXJ0MTktZXBpc29kZS1sb2NhdG9yL1YwL1NNcDBmdloybUhFemJyM3BsNExvQnBWbWVIbUd1YnpZaEl5dnNCZVRud2s
I was thinking there needs to be a virus balloon that you could have delivered to all these idiotic social events. No such animal. But, in my search I saw this. Oh, the irony. Let's have a party and "Beat The Virus Together"??
re: eyewear, I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I got something very similar at the start of the pandemic (the ones I bought are not currently available on Amazon, but this is a close duplicate, 6 glasses for $10): They aren't perfect, but it works for me.

There's also a safety google option from this brand (haven't tried it myself, so don't know what it's like...) actually, my mom found something similar several years ago at the Dollar Store on the hardware aisle, so ya never know... hope this maybe helps? :)

micro-clots are a problem with all strains of covid and if long-covid happens
natto-serra might be the strongest otc tpa available to break up clots (aspirin only addresses platelets, the clots in covid are fibirin based)
this is one of a few:
I got the generic one that's normally $40-$80
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09Q333XB7/
> Mini CO2 Detector, Air Quality Monitor, Stylish and Lightweight CO2 Monitor You Can Use Anywhere
It's out of stock now but if you follow the suggested links there are similar units that are the size of an alarm clock instead of credit card. The name brand one from the video is $200-$400

> SAF Aranet4 Home: Wireless Indoor Air Quality Monitor for Home, Office or School [CO2, Temperature, Humidity and More] Portable, Battery Powered, E-Ink Screen, App for Configuration & Data History
I'm happy with the less expensive option so far but may upgrade to track allergens at some point. Might also get more sensors to compare different rooms. I'd also like something that records over time (or one I can record with a webcam) but for now I am going to focus on improving my indoor ventilation because the rainy season is coming and it's going to become unmanagable to keep opening and closing windows all the time. Good luck!
My wife had cancer and one of the MRI facilities had half the office staff refusing to wear masks. When I complained they came back with the see-through cloth masks on as chin warmers, and about half the patients had masks on. Seems to be a cultural thing where they just either refuse or don't think it's a threat to their cardiovascular systems and brains.
For my daughter, I had the doctor prescribe lidocaine. I apply it over both arm bends for labs and deltoids for injections. Topical lidocaine is also available on amazon. There are 2 products that I know of that dissipate the pinch of the needle. Buzzy bee vibrating ice pack And shot blocker by bionix
I don't think you overreacted. The other mom was out of line. You discussed it with the providers, and everyone came to the conclusion that not letting your child have labs was in the best interest of the study. What if your child kicked a nurse or moved that caused a needle stick? Does the study want to be known for forcing children to undergo testing? (Antivaxxers would have a hoot with that headline) You would have felt horrible, and so would your child. I find it hard to believe that one lab would make or break a study. They would extend the study if they needed more data. At least you are sticking with the study. Many people quit and produce less data than a skipped lab. Plus, they could do a chest x-ray to see if the heart is enlarged if they needed it so bad. Most people have made up their minds about vaccination. You are not doing this for the antivaxxers. You are doing it for us parents who believe in science.
I am about your same age. My sense of balance is not as good as it was 20 years ago, either. We got rid of the step stool in the pantry, and got a 3-step ladder with a hand rail, similar to this: https://amazon.com/Rubbermaid-RM-3W-Folding-200-Pound-Capacity/dp/B003EYVF7GThe hand-hold at the top makes a world of difference.
Yipes, u/CrystalCat420, that was a close one, indeed! I'm afraid the very same happened to my father-in-law, and he broke his shoulder. He's just about 90. Now I've heard from his anti-vaxx daughter that he's developed bed sores as a result of being bedridden...and we all know what might be next. Either he catches COVID from her (she loves to date and go out drinking) or he gets a Staph infection...either way, his outcome isn't going to be good. Being a man who has always done his own repairs, I'm sure he's not in the best of spirits, either.
So as for your predicament of your counter becoming your pantry, why not try this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JPX7X7H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_3762X5ESVRFBTJ8PERS4 It's a little floor pantry with doors that open like a fridge. No reaching required. I found the cheapest one I could on Amazon. Of course, it'll need assembly, but I'm sure you could get a kid to do it for you... Frankly I might buy one soon if I can be a little frugal. I hate reaching for the top shelf, too!!!
btw this has 13 day wait for delivery but I guess others can pre-order just to have something

I have no idea if it's omicron accurate, studies are starting to say you should swab differently for omicron
This MD talks about certain autoimmune conditions and the general response for how to treat. Hope this helps.
Your comment doesn't make sense.
First, the media isn't mum on it. It has been pointing out mask mandates in other countries and LA non-stop. There was almost universal coverage of Fauci challenging the CDC when he said the vaccinated should consider wear masks indoors.
Furthermore, this is Redfield and Trump's CDC. Did you think Biden fired the entire organization upon taking office? No. He replaced a few people and the CDC has carried on.
Finally, shouldn't this be guidance Trump Republicans would cheer? No mask mandate because masks are how the Clintons and Soros traffick children to harvest their organs or something like that?
This sounds unbelievably hard!! Will your hospital allow you to wear a better mask (N95 or even a P100) and goggles?
GVS Elipse 643/644 model is a $35 p100 with no exhaust valve and you can fit goggles over them: GVS SPR643 ELIPSE P100 Elastomeric Half Mask Respirator with Source Control for Healthcare Professionals with Replaceable and Reusable Filters Included, Blue, S/M Size https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095YC3ZD5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DSWB7FPTVA187QZZ0TZ5

the media was pushing multiple lies about Jones.
This article, which I guess you didn't read, points out who go it right and who got it wrong.
To your incorrect point about JHU dashboard. FL and Hopkins used same TOOL and service. Guess you didn't read that either.
" The dashboard was built on the same visual mapping tool that Johns Hopkins University made famous at the beginning of the coronavirus crisis . The tool is actually built not on any of Florida’s many data servers, but using ready-made modules from a subscription service called ArcGIS.
Jones’ job was to load data into those modules and decide how it appeared to visitors. "
So sorry your hatred for Trump clouds your ability to read and process facts.
Here’s what I send my 4 year old to preschool with - it’s working well for him.

And he wears the Bluna KF94 masks. I send him in a new one each day. We’ve been lucky and haven’t had any covid outbreaks at his school yet, but hand-foot-mouth and a stomach bug made its way around and he never got either, luckily.
Hi! Try these masks:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08NDHPR3V/
They're not the cheapest (they do go on sale occasionally) but they're the best masks I've found. They're rated really well and my mom (she's 87 and has COPD) said she had no problems breathing in the one I gave her, she really liked it. My partner's mother is in her early 80's and after she tried the one I gave her she got two boxes for herself. I really can't say enough good things about them - and I have no connection to the company, I'm just really happy with the masks. 😂
Here's the info on them from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/respirators/testing/results/MTT-2020-252.4_International_KMCorp_DrPuriKF94_TestReport_Redacted-508.pdf
Here's what I have so far. If you DM me with your experiences with certain businesses, I can add them on the list. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated.

These days, if you want to send mass emails and not worry about spam filtering, an "easy" to do so would be to pay a third-party service to take care of the minutia for you, see: sendgrid.com.
These services cost money and have service limits based on how much you pay. It's conceivable that with the increased loads on the system, they are cutting corners where they can, and optional features are being slashed.
Just my 2¢.
Good for you for wanting to do the right thing to keep yourself and others safe despite your fears. Would it help to use a “shot blocker”? It helps mask the feeling of getting a shot. That may help you get through the experience a little easier. Shot blocker on Amazon
An n95 (or n100) with a valve, with the valve covered by a 2nd regular mask might work for them. It’s what I wear on the plane and can be quite comfortable breathing-wise tho the double straps are a hassle.

Portable powered air filtering mask pumps. I have friends using these, they like them.
> Niosh KN95 mask
There is no such thing. KN95 masks are made in China and are never NIOSH certified. Get a proper NIOSH N95 mask made in the USA.
My wife was exposed at work and. I couldn’t find a test sooner than Thursday. I ordered this test from Amazon 🤷🏻♂️ Amazon COVID-19 Test Collection Kit DTC — FDA Authorized PCR Test Collection Kit — Results in 24 hours from lab receipt — Ages 18+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZR5XNBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7W1TPVZG7QCGH4Y268PG
Normally I would agree but /u/Commandmanda works at an urgent care center so it wouldn't be out of place if limited to their work attire.
Although something like this would be less smug and get the message across better: https://www.amazon.com/Vaccinated-COVID-19-Coronavirus-enamel-Lapel/dp/B08YD1VFV5/
Yea you did. Using her home wifi? That’s pretty stupid. Only a boomer would think that’s something someone our age would do. Jones is almost exactly the same age as me and we all know computers. We all know about NordVPN
I have 3 p100's, as you know face shields only reduce the distance of any particles.
people that wear it below their nose mostly put themselves in danger. just give them distance. wear a p100 if you are actually concerned, as they do filter intake. but don't silly.
