If you were in their shoes, would you want the people to know that there might be irreversible catastrophic climate change in their lifetime, or would you want them to stay productive like good little worker bees?
If anything major happened, these are the types that would be in an underground bunker complaining about how they have to ration their wine to a half bottle a day.
I promise you, half the deniers in leadership positions know wtf is going on. Removing web pages is just to reduce visibility. When you have your climate scientists using phrases like "we're f***ed", at some point it's just climate liars, not deniers.
Hey Redditors, I'm one of the members of this project. We're trying to make it easier to weigh in on proposed legislation at the state and federal level as well as replace representatives who are not doing a good job of representing their constituents.
I would love any feedback from the community regarding whether this is something you might find useful or not. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Cheers!
PS. More info on the project, as well as an invite code for setting up a public mobilizer account, can be found here: https://steemit.com/politics/@sethster82/looking-for-help-beta-testing-a-new-political-app
Yeah man, I totally hear you. The challenge we ran into was that there are roughly 20,000 bills passed each year at the State and Fedaral level (https://tinyurl.com/mnozoun), not to mention all the bills that fail to pass. To provide a coherent nonbiased summarization of each bill would require an army of staffers and we're just a few dudes with computers. ;)
The best solution that we have come up with so far is the mobilizer/apptivist system, where the public bill alerts are sent out by the users themselves. The bias effect will hopefully be tempered with the fact that mobilizers have to convince others mobilizers and apptivists to follow them.
If the system catches on, I personally will follow mobilizers from various schools of thought in order to hear the arguments from multiple sides before weighing in on a bill.
It's not a perfect system yet to be sure so I really appreciate the feedback. If you, or anyone you know, might be interested in setting up a mobilizer account and testing the system out, we would really appreciate it! Just click on this link and it will autofill the invite code for you: https://www.apptivism.us/landing-page?referral=WEVVVVK

For anyone who is interested, the person who owns Raddle (OP) once had a mega meltdown after filling the website with their own squabbling alts. Dragonoa is ziq.
In the article there is a link to the email sent out by the GP US, rejecting the use of substack, and not even mentioning the availability of the open source Ghost.org platform.
I very much want to support fund raising newsletters, but no Green Party candidates have been interested.
Thanks for sharing. That piece is awesome. No presidential candidate has ever inspired me more than Nader (w/ the possible exception of Bernie) and I have a mountain of respect for Ron Paul for his ability to call out plain truths that so many others have been afraid of. Also, I'd argue that Napolitano is probably the most legitimate source on Fox news, not that that's saying much.
Nader has a book on this topic I want to pickup.
