A friend of mine made me aware of this and I was surprised! Thank you for the compliments!
This is Kissy Paws, my Warrior Charr!. :) I've changed her backpiece since those images. Here is her new look! ^_^
Thanks, but I'm really down on gold, had to spend a fortune to get all ascended mats.
What do you think of carapace legs? http://pokit.org/get/img/0ac93e23eb6165af64697839b08cd3da.jpg
As for colors, I'll try to fiddle with them a bit later.
You'll need to give us an aesthetic you want to go for. As for dyes: avoid black and white. Seriously, put down the Abyss. It'll make you look boring and generic. And keep bright colors like reds limited to cloth sections of your armor.
Use this tool to create a good color scheme. For heavy armor, you might want to darken or desaturate the colors: a basic blue/orange scheme would become Blue Shade and Mahogany. Also, for your primary metal color, find a few dyes in roughly the same hue but different brightnesses: for example, Iron, Blue shade, and Cobalt make a nice gradient. Use the brightest dye to highlight shoulders and helm, and the middle dye on your gauntlets and maybe part of the chest. Use the darkest on boots and (part of) the chest.
I love Hovo too :)
Helm: Adventurer's Mantle
Shoulders: Scarlet's Spaulders
Chest: Carapace
Gloves: Scarlet's Grasp
Legs: Carapace
Boots: Vigil's Honor Greaves
The dyes are Celestial and Illumination dyed like this
Just based on basic color theory, maybe try a "greenier" green for the yellowy-green metal bits, as per: http://paletton.com/#uid=3010u0klllldZyghFr2p0fDsH9V
You could also try a slightly more orange red.
I think the red and blue work well. They contrast well and bring each other out. The pink sets off the character's eyes - but I can't decide if it blends a bit too much with the red or actually matches the red.
I were you, I'd try to design around the pink and eye color, which would mean more green and yellow throughout the rest of the outfit, and a pinkier red.
Hair can be tricky sometimes. Sometimes you want something that clashes with the rest of the outfit.
All that said, I think it looks great and I'm not sure it needs anything at all. I only make suggestions since you asked for them.
The daggers are the Sovereign Cinquedea.
