Well, we have this screenshot:
And as you can see in the address, it's named Umayyad.
All you need is a free account to play at 1080 p 60fps.
If you want to play the game at 4k you need a stadia pro account for $10/mon ( also give you access to 28 other games ) I make stadia YouTube content . This referral link will give you 1 month of stadia pro trial and an additional 1 month of pro for free. Just remember, you do not need pro to play Humankind. Its just an option if you want to play at 4k. https://stadia.com/link/referrals?si_rid=10033058353652358138&si_rt=1
I wrote a long, illustrated explanation but Reddit screwed me over by freezing on the "REPLY" action and never posting it. Even copy/paste of text doesn't work while that reply action is waiting for something.
Anyway, in short:
Bad fonts: hard to read, too much spacing between letters, no text shadow, white text on top of transparent white/navy gradient, mix of serif and sans-serif is ugly, etc.
Inconsistent and bleak shapes of map indicators: monochrome mixed with multi coloured, angular mixed with curved, mixaligned boxes, no meaningful idea behind of all that and it fails to present a clear picture.
Asymmetrical UI panels: one side rounded, the other is angular. Ugly.
Yield indicators being 2d shapes laid on top of the terrain looks too out of place. Civ 6 has it much better by presenting yields as 3d shapes which looks much more organic.
Poor UI (as in richness). No fine detail, everything's kind of dumb. Visually, the difference between HK and Civ 6 is the difference between an old Soviet car and a modern, shining Mercedes Benz. Just look at all the fine detail, the perfect colour scheme, art and everything: https://snipboard.io/dXEm1K.jpg
HK's UI so far looks like "alright we'll do UI later, for now slap on something functional so that players could get the job done". It's very superficial, it's basic, it's ugly, it's unfinished, unpolished and frankly not even properly designed at a high-level. Hopefully, Amplitude will fix that, otherwise it's ... a big disappointment. Even ES2 was way better.
Another scenario is open for play on Google Stadia (no download required).
If your in a country were the service is not available, consider a VPN to at least try it out.
It should be open for 3 more days.
If you don't have a games2gether account (the link is on the [https://humankind.game/](humankind website) )I would definitely check that out, it has alot of the artwork and articles that either directly or indirectly confirm certain cultures.
Hello, I don't know if you guys use figma, but I screenshoot some visual mistakes/errors and put it on this link https://www.figma.com/file/hghuhN6L2hDVa7ViC7K7on/humankind?node-id=0%3A1

but I found the tutorial very good. The explanation was on point to calm the new players, I haven't play that many 4x games, I started playing last month, or so, so the tutorial was very crucial for me to understand the mechanics.

on the menu with others civilizations the affordance to propose open borders and others things was not too good cuz I didn't notice I could propose things until very late on my gameplay, and I found out only by a misclick

the animation loop of some characters was glitchy

I ended up constructing more capitals then I could but was because the icon that shows that you are on limit is very discreet and when choosing the placement the text doesn't remind me that I hit the capacity, so to prevent errors maybe you could put a confirmation popup

I really liked the game and gameplay, it's very fun to play and create your own city, the complexy curve in the beggining is made with perfection for me, continue the good job :) and the user interface is very beatifull
This Nitro 5 will run it just fine; it's what I use.
I'd recommend getting it with a bigger SSD to store more games, or buying an additional one to install. Beyond that, though, it's great.
According to the website it only works in these countries:
Belgium
Canada
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Netherlands
Norway
Spain
Sweden
United Kingdom
United States (except Guam, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
If you aren't in one of these countries, use a VPN (the best free one imo is ProtonVPN), connect to one of these countries and create a Google account for it.
EDIT: After trying it myself with a VPN, I ran into the problem that you need to use a phone number to get a verification code when making a Google account
I don't have access to any phone numbers from any of those countries, and all the websites that give public phone numbers are blacklisted. I guess we really can't play the game on Stadia after all huh :(
