That's the main drama. I have that one already. I'm talking about this: https://www.paravi.jp/static/nembutsu_kensyui/?utm_source=tbs&utm_medium=groupsite&utm_campaign=banner&utm_content=nembutsu_original
It's focuses on Ryota Katayose's point of view. I found episode one here: https://nyaa.si/view/1211772
Not sure what you're asking. "My Brother's Husband" is the title of the story in translation. I'm not related to the creator. Neither am I related to the fictional characters nor are these fictional characters based on my life or the lives of any of my relatives...
NHK will broadcast a three part mini-series which will be based on the manga with the title 『弟の夫』originally created by Japanese mangaka Gengoroh Tagame. The linked news items have a little more information in English and in Japanese.
This is a link to the English language publisher's web site for the first volume, as listed translated by Anne Isshii. Here is a link for that book on Amazon, one of the places where a few sample pages can be read and that book can be purchased.
The manga is also being made available in other languages as well - and so is the synopsis. News about this drama adaptation is being picked up by other news outlets around the world too.
I'm curious about the acting experience of Baruto. Curious how he'll portray Mike Flanagan if he will be asked to play if this role as the Japanese brother's Canadian husband for his debut part. The story in the manga has a lot of subtlety and sensitivity and I'd like to see that brought to life properly.
Ideally, you should use a VPN, recommend using any of the safe VPNs listed here. I personally use Mullvad VPN, paying €5/month. I've also torrented a lot of dramas with no VPN and have not received any ISP strikes.
Looks like there are English subtitles here: https://subscene.com/subtitles/seirei-no-moribito-guardian-of-the-spirit and since you live in Japan, you should be able to rent the DVD/blurays or get a cheap used copy somewhere.
Imo, the anime is much better than the live action drama and seeing as how big the foreign anime community is, I'm sure there will be lots of subs for it.
Also, small point but the story is historical fantasy so even though it was produced by NHK, it's not really a Taiga.
I’m not aware of legal streaming services with old Doramas…
Ah yes Neco TV. The andoid app that I've been using to watch japanese TV had recently updated and now has additional sites like Neco TV. The developer is Kwakami
The issue now is how can I watch from the TV using my smartphone because Neco TV is best to be viewed on a big screen xd.
I don't know if there are any fansubbers for the movie but the Blu-ray includes English subtitles 英語字幕 https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E7%87%83%E3%81%88%E3%82%88%E5%89%A3-Blu-ray%EF%BC%882%E6%9E%9A%E7%B5%84%EF%BC%89-%E5%8E%9F%E7%94%B0%E7%9C%9E%E4%BA%BA/dp/B09ZPDCNYK#productDescription_secondary_view_div_1665833008310
Upvote for Ohno Yuji. The man's a genius.
I checked around some Japanese sites but even used copies are around ¥20,000+
Amazon Japan has it for streaming rental for ¥110 an episode but you'd need an account and I think Amazon's just about blocked all VPN access to Japan.

>Is this available online? I saw two guidebooks and one fanbook on Amazon Japan but haven't come across a screenplay.
I bought the paper version from Amazon JP. 3 weeks of episodes were published in a drama screenplay magazine..
I wish there was a full screenplay, though. Have searched for it before but no joy.
already uploaded : https://nyaa.si/view/1208201
you have to be PATIENCE . the uploader have alot of drama to record , upload & they also have life irl bruhhhhh
i'm not into lgbt drama but Ossan Love is an exception . this drama is so random & funny lolll. i recommend watching Ossan's Love in the sky : https://nyaa.si/?f=0&c=4_0&q=ossan+in+the (it's kinda second season except the story is different but the humor is on point)
That's interesting. I really like learning about this kinds of facts, especially about TBS Nichiyou Gekijou. When looking at the description of a show on mydramalist, I never really paid attention to the time slots of when a show was originally aired (aside from asadoras), but I will start paying more attention now.
I just googled 日曜 劇場 and found the wikipedia page. So many Nichiyou Gekijou. shows!
I'll definitely check out the other shows you mentioned. Thank you.
You've got me curious about reading Ikeido Jun. I just bought a Kindle Single of one of his short stories. I've noticed with some Japanese Kindle Singles, I don't have to always log into the Japanese version of Amazon in order to buy them, which is nice. I just got that one via the US site.
For currently airing stuff I just stream http://doramano.blog135.fc2.com/
You can connect to a japanese VPN and stream from the TV broadcasting company's website for some shows, for some decent quality.
I don't download TV dramas anymore but if I did I'd go to Avistaz private torrent tracker.
Torrent download : https://nyaa.si/?f=0&c=0_0&q=douki+no
no eng sub bc this drama is still ongoing & idk which team gonna sub this drama . I look forward to this drama bc of Mackenyu <3
Can you understand Japanese or do you prefer english subs? I don't think there is any confirmation that it will be subbed by someone. Japanese Dramas don't get subs like korean dramas, most of them only get subbed by fans. Now if you understand Japanese expect to get the raw file here once it aired.
I use NordVPN to watch netflix Japan, not sure if their servers would do the trick for Amazon Japan. Every now and then, I have to change servers when Netflix notices i'm on a proxy, but it has worked really well for at least the past 3 years. Hope that helps.
Well, the soundtrack is by Tokuda Masahiro. The only legitimate way I would know how to acquire the music would be to buy the soundtrack.
You can order it fromAmazon Japan. You can also listen to a sample of the songs there to try to figure out which song it is, but it's probably the first track, which has the same name as the drama, Itsuka Kono Koi...
If you would like to use PayPal, I can recommend CDJapan. I order stuff from them all the time. I think they are great.
It was released on DVD in the US a few years ago. Here's the Amazon link.
