But camping doesn't have AC. If it's 90° at night no fan is going to make that feel like 68°. August is just a hot season to camp, and a treeless Walmart parking lot sounds awful. All the radiant heat from the blacktop? And exhaust from hot cars? Yikes. A rooftop tent wouldn't make that cooler.
Also leaving a car idling for a long time can harm the engine, with a long time usually defined as 30 minutes.
Just double check to make sure it fits your vehicle. I bought it for my 15 renegade latitude.
Edit: just realized its bosch not mopar, my bad
Yes, I just RE-DID my 1" titan wheel spacers, because the shop that promised me they had experience installing them, used my old set of OEM studs I threw in the box along with an unopened bag of the short head bolts. The 28mm will fit, I have a trailhawk also, and they sit just below the lip of the bolt hole, I have pics but I don't know if I know how to post them. I actually took a photo of the stock stud and the Dynofit shorthead stud for comparison. I will give it a try. Here are the bolts I used, but they look similar to the ones you linked. Did you try and fit them, or just going by dimensions?

This one is one that I’ve used for a couple of years now. I’m noticing that it’s starting to make my “spoiler” a little wobbly when I grab it and really try to move it. I don’t think it’s in much danger of snapping off but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re thinking of putting two heavier bikes in the rack.
Personally, I’d enjoy some recommendations for a roof rack. I didn’t want to spend that kind of money a few years ago but I’d be willing to do it now.

These fit perfect for me! They were listed under the “Customers also purchased” items when I bought the spacers. I had read everything about the factory lugs being too long so I went for it and I’m glad I did.
My sport trim didn't come with rails or anything really, I purchased these 165lb rails, perfect fit. I got Thule 165lb cross bars also since I figured the cross bars would be the weakest link and wanted to go with something really reputable. Everything to attach the tent to the crossbars came with the tent.

Don;t ignore an engine light, even if it goes away. You can stop by a locak auto parts store (auto zone, reilleys, etc) and they will scan for free in most states. It could be as simple as a loose gas cap or it could be a bigger problem, but if the light is coming on at all there is definitely something wrong. Maybe just a flukey sensor, but if the sensor is flukey then it's not really giving you truthful information about what it should be monitoring. You could also buy an ODB2 bluetiooth scanner tool on amazon for like $18, plug it in, connect to your phone and you can pull the codes yourself to see whats wrong.

You could probably find a spot scratch repair kit at your local auto parts store, or something like this on Amazon. Not sure what material those wheels are made out of so you may need to find a different type if they aren't aluminum.
Which rails are you talking about? The crossbars or the actual rails themself?
I got a decent set of cross bars off of Amazon and I so far they work great. I'll try to find the link and add it for you.

I went with a very similar setup and just installed the cargo basket today! I got some decent but cheaper knockoffs of a very similar crossbar (a bit lower profile) on ebay. I had to hit em with some plastidip to black em out. ebay link
and the same rack but just another brand and a bit cheaper: amazon

It was a gift from my finance last christmas. I have a 17 trailhawk and even though it comes with some instillation pieces I didn't need to do anything, all of the hooks and mounts were factor. These have been so helpful.
Any piece of 16-18 AWG automotive wire works. Autozone sells them locally (as well as the crimp terminals and the crimping tool).
Here is an example. It is a TON of wire but you just need a short section. Any color works although the standard says it should be black.

The cheapest test would be to check out the Metra AX-USB-MINIB USB to MINI B Adaptor Cable. You can find this on ebay for under $15. What this will allow you to do is rule out whether the cable in the jeep itself is damaged, or the usb port on the radio is damaged.
For your test, you have to buy a MINI-B USB to regular USB cable. Basically whatever your phone uses to convert to MINI-B USB.
So for example, you plug in a (male) USB MINI-B to the back of your radio. The end of that cable should be a normal usb 2.0 port (male) Then connect the USB 2.0 side into a female USB 2.0 to USB C or IOS cable. That way we get the phone connected to the radio directly.
Or something like this: https://www.amazon.com/TRIPP-U040-006-MINI-Hi-Speed-Mini-B-Type-C/dp/B00Z8DD4Y8/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=usb%2Bmini-b%2Bto%2Busb%2Btype%2Bc&qid=1663808930&sr=8-7&th=1
Hope we can make some progress and I hope you can sort this out and get it repaired.

I have these crossbars and then went to dick's sporting goods and picked up the Field and Stream J hooks for the kayaks. Works well and I like that I can fold down the middle part of the j hooks when not in use. It also comes with 4 ratchet straps and four ropes for securing the boats.

Here’s some of the stuff I’ve gotten for “Amelia” my 2021 Trailhawk so far: -Valkyrie makes a lot of good stuff (I got a side ladder and interior molle panels from them) -EBay/Amazon have a lot of cosmetic stuff, but I also got a generic roof rack that has worked out pretty well (I just had to paint it black with rustoleum to prevent rusting), I keep my spare tire strapped up there and keep MRE’s and foodstuff in her spare compartment now : ) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082DNJ4QZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_WSAJVTBR68AJ2Y3CWDPJ -If car camping, Foambymail.com is a nice choice. I use a small air mattress in the back of mine with the seats laid down - as long as you don't have to sleep stretched out or are shorter than 5'6" this is incredibly comfy.
This is the exact model we got. it's lasted about four seasons, although this year I did have to replace the front zipper due to it just kind of corroding. but found a zipper replacement on Amazon that was really great and will now extend to the life another year or two, I've also reweather sealed and a couple things but by and large this was a great tent investment. My mechanic rejected my job because didn't realize that my stock alloy wheels on the Jeep have a pocket to accommodate protruding lug heads. My lugs were crap anyway (see my other comment), so I just replaced all of them with short head lug bolts by myself in the driveway.
I found the factory-issued, chrome-domed lug nuts to be crap. The cosmetic tips detached or loosened from the actual bolt when man-handled by auto shops. I was able to remove all my lugs with an extraction socket set from ROCKETSOCKET and an iron pipe for a moment arm. Replaced all my lugs with short head lug bolts. Don't forget the permanent Loctite and the torque wrench. Easy afternoon job.

Works amazing. Never had a problem with the phone or mount coming off. It does end up moving with the vent but it actually ends up making the tilt of your phone adjustable. You just need to find a nice spot where it can rest a bit and it stays perfectly still. I have mine in the far left drivers side vent. I didn’t want to get a pop socket at first because I thought it was for teenage girls but I have grown to love that as well. It’s a great stand for watching videos.

I absolutely recommend this model. Holds up well with two young Pitties, looks good, works well. Also does a good job at containing shedding for later vacuuming.
The sides zip up to create basically a bucket in the rear seat, and it has straps you can use to loop over the "oh shit" handles to keep it up and in place even if pressure is put on it. You can forgo the straps if your dog isn't going to mess with it and you don't want to mess with it haha

On your dash via the steering wheel buttons there should be a section for messages, any warning lights will (should) prompt a message. It takes a bit of digging around. Either way, see the link for the recommended light per Jeep. I’ve have great luck with this light. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.
I found one that looks almost identical on Amazon, and it's a lot cheaper too, so I think I will try it out.
Try BEAMTECH LEDs off of Amazon. They are cheaper than other LEDs, fanless which means they are completely silent, and plug and play. They are definitely brighter than stock and I’ve had them on my 2016 for over a year with no issues at all. I also have them in my fog lights and with both on at the same time it’s pretty bright!

Have the same Jeep as you, year, trim, color....Nice Jeep!!
I bought the inexpensive ones off Amazon and they have held up beyond my expectations. Not one has chipped or fallen off or anything like that. I did add more of the adhesives (tape). Not sure if this helps you at all. Links below

the top left red fuse was blown, and the fan motor relay is the black thing below it.

this was the relay I used to replace it. You have to use a pair of snips to break off the bracket piece so you can put the fuse box cover back on. the fuse can bought at walmart or most auto parts stores, or find one on amazon.
I snagged it from Amazon. It held up all winter and so far this year magnificently! Most reviews for roof racks complain that they drip rust water that stains the roof and have bad coatings, this one is totally beast and none of those problems, here's the link if you're interested for yourself:

The extension can be found on the same page.
I don't know about car seats but the vehicle is okay for two kids.
There are no cup holders in the back seat. This one is recommended, get some 3M Velcro strips from the hardware store and stick it to the carpet on the center hump.
These are the ones I got for mine. They work in the dome lights above the back doors, the cargo lights, the reverse lights and in the glove box. The only place I have noticed them stay on is the reverse lights, but I don't really mind because I think the faintly glowing Xs look cool at night. They eventually go out when the charge in the wire dissipates.

I did try them in the licence plate lights and they work, but that is the only place they threw a code so I took them back out.
I'd probably get something like these then just primer and paint them, that way you can go back to stock if you decide to change the color and/or maintain better resale value when it's time for your next ride.
I have this camera. I just suction it on the windshield below the review mirror. It plugs into the cigarette lighter or whatever those are called now.

These resistors: E-Projects 10EP5121K00 1k Ohm... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0185FK65K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I had the same issue with my DRL and reverse lights, what I gathered is that newer vehicles keep current running and one of the purposes is to detect when your drl/brake/reverse lightbulb is blown, keep in mind guys and gals, with the halogen bulb, you're actually using the 12V while LEDs usually require 9, this bad boys will draw the current and keep your LED off. I have been using these since January 2019 and have not had any issues. No battery draining, no blown bulbs or fuses..... if you are going with LEDs for the rest of your car's life, then splicing the wires would be a good idea, if you plan on switching to halogen st some point, then simply stick the resistor along with tje led bulb, they're polarized, red side was positive and gold was negative for mine.. Good luck !

Great for phone placement. Not good for change if you get bouncy.
