Just hijacking a random spot to violate the sub rules and not limit myself to reposts KenM, but I wanted to share this quote from "The War of Art":
> “You know, Hitler wanted to be an artist. At eighteen he took his inheritance, seven hundred kronen, and moved to Vienna to live and study... Ever see one of his paintings? Neither have I. Resistance beat him. Call it overstatement but I'll say it anyway: it was easier for Hitler to start World War II than it was for him to face a blank square of canvas.”
I am ALL sharing quotes about the challenge of art this blessed day.
> I genuinely want to know if this was actually a Twain quote could someone find a source?
Ive looked around and cant find a source. Niether can wikiquotes
I think you need RES. If you have RES, there's a little tag icon next to everyone's username which you can click on and then add a tag. Just a phrase or whatever. So every time you see that user, the tag will appear next to them.
Give me something to tag you with and if/when I ever see you in the wild again on reddit, I'll let you know haha.
Well actually our health care isn't 100% privatized, we haven't had fully private healthcare since the 1700's. With requirements to open hospitals such as "certificates of need" it actually creates a monopoly on healthcare in different areas. Government regulation has artificially driven up the price of healthcare. The privatization of healthcare is a discussion no one has the exact answer to especially in the developed world.
If you are interested in reading up on the topic a book I recommend is: The Primal Prescription It may take a more libertarian view than most would but it is insightful none the less. Gotta use <em>long</em> spoons to scoop out the bottom.
In ELI5 form:
For PC, download RES. Once installed, there will be a little battery looking button next to everyone's username. Click that to tag them.
For mobile, download a third party app. For example, Sync for Reddit. Tap on the user you want to tag, tap the three dots in the upper-right hand corner, and tap "tag user".
Hope that helps!
Have a look on YouTube for the genius of the series Fonejacker here in the UK. I feel KenM phoning random individuals and / or business could have some mileage.
Alternatively, finding a different web platform might be a plan. As so much of the web is powered by Wordpress, how about finding random sites with comments enabled and then spamming them with comments using a Jetpack or Wordpress.com ID?
Wierd. I can see them. Here's what I posted:
