Didn't seem to be built into the Dialer, nor could I get the app off the Play Store, but installing the APK manually seemed to work just fine.
Those are some legitimate complaints there. Even if I did live close enough to trade, you kinda talked me out of it. If you can't find anyone to trade, I'd recommend selling it (maybe Gazelle or Swappa? I've never used them so I can't say how good they are) and just buying a V35 in the meantime. A new one is $700 if you're an Amazon Prime member, but they also have a refurb for ~$400, though it seems really early in the product cycle for there to be refurbs.
EDIT: Brightness goes down to 0% on the V35.
Just looked it up and I was already using a wallpaper made by the same people.

Looks beautiful on the OLED. Worth the dollar for the full version to randomize the colors and shapes every time you go to the home screen imo.
Yes I love this feature but wish there was more options.
I did find this app the other day called Always On Edge which does this same thing and has a lot of settings!

It is supposed to support it and it does charge reasonably fast on high watt charge pads but I don't believe I saw any indicator as to how fast.
I have this one. The Samsung Fast Charge model 2072. It tells me it will take 2 hours to charge from 30-40% to 100%. This seems pretty standard to me however I have it plugged into an Anker Charging hub but not in the high power port. I will try it after I get home from work and report back if I see a difference in reported time to charge.
I never knew it was a enabled/disabled thing.

Here are the specs. Unless it needs something ultra high end it should run fine. Generally speaking if it runs on the V20 it will run very well on the V35.

Hi,
It's me again. I've just upgraded to latest KTF follow your link. But it's not success. The same error with the ULM KDZ when flashing. Please take a look at the error on attached image link
There's an Amazon Prime version for $600 now that works on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon (including Voice over LTE and Wifi Calling on all 3 networks): https://www.amazon.com/LG-V35-ThinQ-Unlocked-Exclusive/dp/B07D46BMYT/ref=sr_tr_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1531839920&sr=8-3&keywords=v35&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I think this one will work best, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.wsdeveloper.g7.dark
You might need to go to website and install patch to get black notifications. It used to work for me on Oreo perfectly though, and on Pie it needs the patch, so not sure. https://wsdeveloper.net/index.php/portfolio-item/black-theme-for-lg-g7-v35-2/
Use stock, get a good theme then add a launcher and fluid navigation or something similar, then add Gcam. Imo the features on stock are solid enough.
Best way to dark theme is to download a good theme, such as this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.wsdeveloper.g7.dark
Also download this app and enable night mode in the app.
I got AT&T v35 as well. Updated to the ULM software with LG UP right away, and just updated to pie the same way last week.
Or, get this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.wsdeveloper.g7.dark
Then go to developer options and turn night mode always on.
Alternatively download the night mode app from play store.
My v35 was supposed to be used but was in unused new condition, got a few nicks just being in a jeans back pocket with no other things in the pocket to scrape it but the screen got a few nicks, I've used a screen protector 99% of the time I've had this phone, I'll link it... be forewarned though, they're flimsy and will eventually crack if you have the phone in your pocket and sit on it.
go figure though, cheaper phones with no screen protector's didn't get the nicks, nor did the older v20, I only ever used a case with it no screen protector.
Better yet, you can hide the navbar entirely until you swipe up with an app like Navbar Apps . You'll have to enable developer tools and enter a few adb commands, but it's all explained in-app. No root required. It's actually better for the life of your OLED display as it helps to minimise the likelihood of screen burn.
While I've got you here could you try this app and let me know if it works

Specifically the other person's audio, if it is working right listening to a recording should seem like you are just on a teleconference with yourself and the other person at reasonably equal volumes
I use Android P black. It has black bottom bar but their play store link has more info on transparent as well I believe. Just make sure to reboot after applying.
I use Package Disabler Pro LG. Worked on my Stylo 3 Plus(until I rooted it properly), Stylo 4 and a few other LG phones that I couldn't root. I assume it will once again work when I receive my V35 in a couple of days.

Different cameras have different strengths.
Learn to use yours. I suggest getting comfy with the manual mode and downloading the Graphy app.

shot for shot in auto mode the Pixel has a much better camera because it has better software AND hardware.
A little bit of an update on the temps, they are not actually only a degree or two higher, but something more like 3-5 degrees ~~Celsius~~ Fahrenheit. Not sure if you are concerned about that. If you are, then you'll want to save up for this charger, which is obviously a whole lot more expensive but also comes with the charging brick/cable, an internal cooling fan, and functions as a stand.
The one I use is a brand called Super Shieldz. It's tempered glass, it went on easily on the first try, and I don't notice any haziness even with my screen at 37% brightness. I just tried different brightness settings, and they all look perfectly clear to me. Touch sensitivity is also excellent. I've had mine installed for almost 6 months at this point. On a bare phone it does stick up a bit so I would recommend using a case that goes over the edges, like this one.
This is what I ordered, can't see it on the screen, works as advertised:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DLHCC1S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't know if you're still looking for a case, but I bought this:

It's still off center, but I feel pretty secure knowing my phone is protected, since it covers the curved edges unlike the majority of the cases I've seen. The built in screen protector can be supplemented with your current screen protector, or at least, that's what I did because I'm overly paranoid about dropping or scratching glass phones.
Two cases I've tried that fit well...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DBPQQN8?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf - this one is pretty lightweight. Doesn't seem to offer a ton of protection but it fits well. Buttons are a little stiff
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FQPHK9P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mBxABbAEB1494 - this one is more solid but totally see through. Has plugs for the headphone and charging ports, which is nice for keeping dust out. I didn't like it a lot at first but it's growing on me.
literally just typed "lg v35 case" in amazon and clicked the first one with a good amount of high reviews. ended up being this one..
As for heat, it's not too bad unless you're using the Amp/DAC! Charging is slooooooooooooooow, but the V35 does a great job metering the charging so I actually leave it on the charger overnight and use the AOD as my alarm clock at my bedside! For reference I picked up this: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Certified-Universally-Compatible-Smartphones/dp/B07D2T7YS9/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1532639322&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=samsung+wireless+charger&dpPl=1&dpID=31X0u%2B9i7Q... for my bedside but only because I had to spend 200$ in store because of the AT&T trade-in deal. I also have two of these: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-Qi-Certified-PowerPort-Fast-Charging/dp/B01KJL4XNY in my living room and they're wonderful!
