Just made our first BIG baby purchase.
A user posted to babybumps explaining a great deal on the Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System in the color “Iceland”. It was 40% off online at bed bath & beyond and/or buybuy baby. Orig price was $379.99 with 40% off being $284.99.
The FTM explained how she found an additional 20% online discount coupon on top of the already great deal to use from slickdeals.com (https://slickdeals.net/coupons/bed-bath-beyond/?couponid=1345516)
Total order with free shipping and tax included was $241. Deal is still good until 11/5.
The ratings for the car seat are amongst the top there is.
Tunics/flowy tank tops with cardigans and thick leggings have become my uniform. I ordered these really comfy leggings from Amazon and they have a wide tummy panel, so they don't dig into my balloon of a midsection: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072LVJ6B2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I breastfed my daughter for 14 months, and pumped at work for 11 of those months. I kept a Spectra S2 at work, and used a Medela PISA at home. I used the Medela pump kits for both pumps, and just bought these little adaptors from amazon to be able to use the Spectra backflow protectors with the medela bottles. So, I had two pump kits and would just alternate them at work so one would be washed/drying at home and the other at work with me.
If I'm eligible for another pump again with this pregnancy, hands down I'll get another S2 if my insurance will cover it. If not, I'll use my older S2 again at work for all my primary pumping. It's THAT good.
Sketchy about it like concerned the B6 would harm the baby? Would love to see any research if you found that to be the case! Here is what I found after light research: https://www.webmd.com/baby/tc/vitamins-b6-and-b12-for-morning-sickness-topic-overview
"There has been no sign of harm to the fetus with vitamin B6 use."
I bought these from Amazon and hate them, major panty lines: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GCA3MOM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've been wearing my regular underwear still, the hipster kind that have lacy cheeks. They're stretchy up top and can fit under my growing belly, and won't constrict my butt.
I actually found mine on amazon!

I used to have horribly chapped lips, and now my lips are what gets me compliments the most, so maybe I can chime in here. The best lip balm I have ever used (and swear by) is by Organic 101. Most lip balms have 5-7 ingredients and usually focus on just getting rid of the symptoms for a little while, but Organic 101's has 15 USDA certified active ingredients and heals lips fast; its actually uncanny. I cannot recommend them enough.
.
They offer a 30 day money back guarantee on their products, even on their lip balms. I thought that was funny at first, but damn if they are that hardcore about a lip balm then they probably know what they are doing and convinced me to buy... glad i did. Anyways.. if interested check them out: https://www.amazon.com/Healthier-ORGANIC-101-Eucalyptus-Certified/dp/B076WGV2ZH/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1512344222&sr=8-4&keywords=natural+lip+balm
I bought these briefs in a size larger than normal. Despite the description, they're definitely not "low rise" -- they come almost up to my belly button and they're really stretchy and breathable. So I guess they fit the "giant granny panty" mold. Very comfy so far!

Too lazy to format link, but this is what kept me running through 36 weeks last time:
Last week I bought 2 tank tops off Amazon, they arrived yesterday and they're AWESOME. They're not specifically maternity, but they're flowy and stretchy enough that they'll be perfect for when the bump gets bigger. Wanted to post links for anyone who's interested. They're so soft and amazing, I might have to get a few more. Look awesome with leggings, boots, and a cardigan or jean jacket.
They're so awesome. You can also buy these backflow protectors which have an extended plastic piece that fits into the medela pump parts. Work like a charm!
Definitely not. The baby's room currently serves as my closet so we're working on moving my clothes out of there now!
I picked this one based on the Lucie's List recommendarion. It's reversible so you can flip it for toddler use while still having the firm side for infancy.
Get some nipple cream. This stuff is seriously the best:
Honest Organic Nipple Balm, 1.8 Ounces https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015HTI3UC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_swu9zbNFRGSKS
Nothing else helped my dry nipples last pregnancy until I got this. It's a little greasy, so be careful with any shirts or bras you really care about.
We told my big sisters at 4.5 weeks because we were all in the same place (we all live across the country from each other and had been planning a meetup for months, and I happened to get pregnant that month). I was showing my 2yo niece pictures on my phone of my dog (who she loves), so I asked if she wanted to show mommy and aunt --- another picture. So I pulled up my positive test, gave her my phone, and sent her off to show my sisters. I/we figured she was a little too young to be told that early, so we were all focusing on "wow that's a great picture!"
We got my MIL this for her birthday last month (the day after our first ultrasound). Put in pictures of her with her mom and sibling, her with my husband (oldest child), and our ultrasound. She read it right to left as we hoped, and got to the third picture and was a little confused until she read Grandma and then she turned to me and saif "REALLY??", meanwhile my FIL and BIL are sitting there confused what just happened, so we assed the frame to them too, and the three boys went off for a boy moment while MIL and I chatted and hugged.
That's kind of the end of the fun announcements. I'm not that close with my dad, and he lives far away, so he's just going to get a phone call.
I was actually looking at this frame with the ultrasound as the third picture, but I'm terrified of ordering something to make sure it gets here on time and jynxing it!
I've been popping these little candies:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002AK5K7G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They do OK... I hear ginger candy is good, but I don't love the taste of ginger.
any other ideas? I get hit BAD... fatigue, nausea, the works around now (2-3 pm) and then I stop feeling functional at work. Its terrible because I'm trying to prove over the next 6 weeks I'm ready for a promotion... and the timing sucks since I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I want to blow them away and then be like BTW! I'm pregnant.
Mine are capsules, so they don't have a taste. Maybe look for something like that?
But I don't have nausea yet (I was taking the B6 to lengthen my luteal phase while TTC), so I don't know for sure that they wouldn't set it off.
I'm seriously considering buying these to keep in my purse and car so that I'm prepared in any situation!
