Heads-up everyone, the tracking they use to make the mobs and builds look so real in the ad is because they have used Blender to render the minecraft stuff into the real world. In the actual game, its going to look about as unpolished as pokemon go's, seeing as that's the best technology has to offer :(. still going to be a fun game though
Quite a lot of people are sharing their builds on the official MCE Discord. And there's this build sharing APP.
You can report any unsafe adventure spots in game - it's the shield-like icon iirc. Mention an employee of the business asked you to move on.
Regarding making adventures spawn in different places, the locations are based on osm map tags. Parks and leisure areas are the main ones to look for. If the osm map is not up to date, you can submit edits to add missing areas - worth doing if there's an unmarked park, but don't make edits just for the game as these maps are used by emergency services etc
I think its easier to get adventures on rural better than small cities
Find Trials outside Residential Areas in https://www.openstreetmap.org (red dotted lines outside grey regions)
Use https://www.openstreetmap.org, exactly look for trails in non residential regions. If you want some help give your (aproximated) coordinates and will help you find (PM or post here)
I think there is no need of such website, its not like pokemonGo because:
I read in the main thread about the adventure spawn system and that there are some bugs. I want to put my town in order to show the incoherence.
The only adventure in my town is the spot in the map. The point isn't a park neither similar. Its a wild hill, in a private terrain, unreachable by feet neither by car, its private.
There are various squares, I marked it in yellow. Squares are good places to put adventures too. There are the ligth green zones that are public parks, plenty of open spaces. There are others in the southern part of the town, but I dont know why the adventure spawns at this point. Don't see any kind of special feature in OSM at this point.
Coordinates of this map are: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/42.85898/-8.65599
thanks
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2 - there are options to refresh GPS data, and calibrate pitch/roll and compass, as well as change the level of filtering, which could help with stability.
The first app I used with the map feature was Network Cell Info Lite, but Netmonster seems more accurate - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mroczis.netmonster
First of all, theirs nothing for the camera to pick up as "points" to start a AR world in which you are attempting. It could be to either
A) Find a better place then just a blanket or sky with more detail
B) Get a phone that can work with the AR core the game uses.
B.2) If android, try to check if you got the AR core ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.core&hl=en_US )
My source is not based on a website, but rather background knowledge.
