I used to do photography and we would lay seamless paper vertically because over time laying them sideways would cause distortion on the bottom layers, so a lot of that should apply here. I am concerned the space might be a little tight and there might be bumps/ridges if I leave a thicker pad in there too long, but the smaller M-L pads fit perfectly.
> I’m having a hard time believing you
This would be a real weird thing for me to lie about

the Cooler Master MP510 seems the be the best middle ground as of right now in terms of speed and offers great durability at a affordable price
Cooler Master MP510: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-Durable-Water-Resistant-Cordura/dp/B07D9D4T41?th=1 (UK SITE)
also be aware that Endgame gear have just released a mousepad to compete with this, and if its the same quality as their mouse then its going to be better
EDIT: just realised the pad has a reputation for having different X and Y speeds so take that into account
The coating might be on its way out. You can add some synthetic oils to the mousepad to help it. The tiniest amount, a few drops onto a rag, then rub the rag over the pad a ton.
I’ve used yo-yo lube in the past: https://www.amazon.com/Snake-Bite-Venom-oil-Bearing/dp/B00DNADHE0
Different cloths react differently though, so your mileage may very.
Pebbled glass is the lowest resistance but I haven't seen it larger than 16 x 20.
Might have to get a custom cut.
But if you're down to try some plastic pads you can get HDPE pads that size on Amazon. They can be fast depending.
Edit: if you look up "desk pad" on Amazon, there are various surfaces that might come in a size that could work for you.
Edit: you could also try a dry erase board or a chalk board. Here's a cheap one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YNZUWZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OGZwBb6EE65D4
I actually tested a PTFE sheet as a mousepad, and I returned it because its glide was way too similar to my custom mouse pad, which I also spray with PTFE.

Also, that PTFE sheet I got from Amazon could easily damage. Fingernail marks would imprint on the surface with enough force, and that was only with a day of testing.
On a complete side note. When I am done using my FX Zero I have this dust cover fabric that I cut a little bigger than the mousepad to protect it from accumulating dust. Link is to amazon and its worked real good.
House2Home 60 Inch x 3 Yard Upholstery Black Cambric Dust Cover Fabric Replacement for Sofas, Chairs, Full and Queen Box Spring Foundations, Conceals Frame and Staples Inside Furniture
As far as the otsu and zero...
If you want a good balance of "speed" and control get the FX Zero Soft(control/slower pad) if you play competitive games like r6 Siege, Valorant, Counter Strike etc where accuracy is key. I can't speak on the otsu precisely but I think they have an x or y axis speed difference similar to the hien due to the texture as opposed to the zero where it practically has none.
Cheers... I was browsing ultra wide wallpapers to find a design that matched my setup. The pic I sent them has a resolution of 7680 * 4320 and the pad is 900 * 400mm.
Heres a link to the source file. They sent me a preview before starting production and even asked me if I was happy with the result once the pad was printed.
I bought some Aegend Compression Sleeves off Amazon to remedy this and they work so well that I never play shooters without one on my mouse arm.
You have to wear the sleeve inside out though, because for some reason the spandex will bunch up during up/down movements when wearing them normally. Inside out makes them glide really nicely and you get no forearm stick at all.
I can't recommend these enough.

i find it to be a great mouse pad
Artisan pads are known for being fairly humid resistant as well as Codura pads. A fairly cheap and well reviewed one right now is the Cooler Master MP511. Here’s a review on it
I really enjoyed the Glide 19 by madcatz. It felt a little bit faster than the amp500. While still feeling fairly smooth. Anything faster than that and you’re looking at maybe a Skypad. Not sure if you would like a hard pad but it also has a smooth surface.
I have a flexible cutting board with texture like that. I’m a dork so I just put my mouse on it and it actually glides really nicely lol.
I think we got ours locally from Home Goods but it’s basically like this. I’m sure Walmart and Target have something similar if you want to see them in person before buying.
The Cooler Master MP511 is a slower Codura pad. Make sure to get the 511 over the 510. The 511 is their newer model. Forgot to mention a lot of people like the black Aqua Control Plus as a faster than average cloth pad, if you don’t wanna do Codura.
there wasn't a code, it applied automatically (it should show it under the price in this link: https://www.amazon.com/Fnatic-Esports-Stitched-Anti-Slip-Surface/dp/B087QJB5GJ/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=fnatic%2Bdash&qid=1624042661&sr=8-2&th=1)

It looks like it might be a foam roller/yoga mat storage cart. I found something that looks similar on Amazon.
You can upload your own black and red image and make a custom deskmat (aqua control plus, comes in a variety of sizes): https://shop.x-raypad.com/shop/custom-aqua-control-gaming-mouse-pads/
Or you can try the Asus scabbard II: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-Scabbard-Extra-Large-Spill-Resistant/dp/B08LP6YDDM?th=1&psc=1 Though it only comes in one dimension (at least on Amazon anyway) and idk if you’ll like the design.

Took four different monitor arms to figure out what could fit this monitor. It's a VESA mount, but the angle of the monitor on the rear makes mounting hardware very difficult to fit. This one finally worked with ease.

I bought an artisan pad on amazon from the same seller and I got the pad in about two weeks so I it's legit. This is the page I used btw, as you can see it's sold by "BB Japan".
I only own the SS Dex, but here's what I know about the 3:
Roccat Hiro is, as far as I know, the oldest, and therefore probably most reliable one, it also has more and better reviews than the SS Dex. it also tends to be cheaper than either.
Megasoma 2 is slightly larger, and more expensive than the roccat hiro, at 40$. it is otherwise (AFAIK) identical. with that said, it's only available on the razer store, and has no reviews on it.
Steelseries dex is also 40 bucks, but can go for as low as 30 on amazon. it's size is roughly the same as the roccat hiro. the only difference it has is it's 3D surface. though this is cool and gives you that "on air" feel, anyone who knows anything about physics will tell you it actually has no effect whatsoever on speed.
It's worth noting though, that according to this video by linus tech tips, the razer megasoma 2 is faster than the steelseries Dex, which in turn is slightly faster than the roccat hiro.
Can't go wrong with the razer gigantus v2, especially for the price. https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Gigantus-v2-Alfombrilla-juegos/dp/B0885NTLKJ/ref=pd_ybh_a_10?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=WS64N0G3Y4SB13DG7P7K

No worries :)
I did try it, I can't edit my post for some reason, I am not very good at Reddit haha. Maybe it's just been too long since I posted it..
Anyway I managed to find my reply to someone about the Nike sleeve so I'll post it here:
>You might have already got them by now, but today I received a Nike sleeve and I'd say it's pretty good with Otsu. It seems to glide well horizontally and vertically I'd say is almost the same, very marginal difference but not enough to impact your aim in my opinion.
For me, I still think the H4X is the best and if it was between the Nike sleeve or H4X I'd go with H4X but for the money the Nike one is good. I'm still undecided with the flash Xsleeve.
This is the Nike one I tried:
I think you have the right idea, try both and keep the one you like. I think It's always really good to get the view/opinions of people that have used them, but it can be a personal preference thing a lot of the time. Good luck!
Or you can try the aqua control plus rob strata
I have the same and love the pad
hey man sorry to bother you but would you rec this mouse pad or no? https://www.amazon.com/Ninja-FX-Zero-XSoft-L/dp/B07FBTB2V5/ref=sr_1_3?crid=YNP88H32PIBU&keywords=Artisan+Zero+Xsoft&qid=1670639626&sprefix=artisan+zero+xsoft%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-3
Quick update for any of those that have tried this. Just upgraded to a Spigen version for a bit more real-estate and got tired replacing the tape.
Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Tesla Refreshed Model S/X Matte/Anti Fingerprint - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SJBDMZ7
This one has about 20% more horizontal space and matte finish, so no more tape needed! Slides like butter with normal PTFE feet.
Just based on the given information what do you think about this Pad compared to the one from Ikea?
If you like the MM350 texture <hy don' you get an MM350?
It's a damn good balanced pad that gives you both speed and control, had nice reviews but it's not overhyped since it's a few years old.
You live in France? You can get it here in XXL 93x40 from Amazon Belgium.

There are no Artisan deskpads and if there were they' be like 150 or so.
For your use the corsair MM350 is a fantastic mousepad, well balanced (fast enough with good control) and durable.
I liked them so much as deskpad I bought a bunch of them as backup stock.

it's an aqua control plus which is a well balanced pad and it's on sale rn.
Saw this aluminum / PU leather double sided one too
I've only used a https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-MM300-Premium-Spill-Proof-Gaming/dp/B08JH7H1NG/ref=sr_1_8?crid=12ZYYAISVG0GV&keywords=corsair+mouse+pad&qid=1668533250&sprefix=corsair+mousepad%2Caps%2C189&sr=8-8 that pad. Let's just say I've used it for too long and I wanted to get an actual decent pad.
Black Shark do an 80 x 30 mousepad. Either plain or with RGB. I haven't tried this brand myself but thinking of getting one as I also would prefer 80 x 30 with the desk space I have. See here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09GJGN7ZM/ref=twister\_B09X3DNB4Q?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Nothing that would hit the spot, unfortunately.
I have bookmarked Hama Textile Design, but it's too basic for my liking, and ASUS TUF P3, but I don't like the green tint and the tread pattern. Neither is close enough to MM300.
Still, if you're looking for something similar, maybe you'll find these useful.
Well, right now there are some nice deals on mice. Assuming you like wireless, the last gen of Razers got some nice discounts, notably the DAv2 Pro.
https://smile.amazon.com/Razer-DeathAdder-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B08FQMBKQG $66 new, $44 renewed (if you buy new, Amazon has free 3 mo financing)
The RVU is $98 w/ 3 mo option and dock. $79 for the Cyberpunk Edition w/ dock, and 3 mo.
RBU is $106 w/ dock. No 3 mo option.
I also like the Pulsefire Haste Wireless if you prefer that kind of shape.
These are the sleeves I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088YSKS5P
They're currently unavailable, but they're pretty standard fare compression sleeves. The thing I really like about them is that they cover my palm, which is what makes the most contact with the pad.
https://smile.amazon.com/Razer-Strider-Hybrid-Mouse-Smooth/dp/B099MFQBYS/
Go here, select the Pre-owned, there are two listed as Like-New for $23. It's what I did and mine in impeccable, just didn't have the stickers. Enjoy your 30% off.
I’m honestly not sure about which one is faster since haven’t used either, this is the ceramic coating I’ve seen a few people use with success; and personally I think the superglides are better since the rounding around the corners is more consistent.
I’m honestly not sure about which one is faster since haven’t used either, this is the ceramic coating I’ve seen a few people use with success; and personally I think the superglides are better since the rounding around the corners is more consistent.
For size I recommend this https://www.amazon.com/Glorious-PC-Gaming-Race-G-XXL/dp/B07C7TVLGM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=Glorious%2Bmouse%2Bpad&qid=1661219045&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExUkwxWENPU0gxNVVNJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwODY4MTg4M... but i dont know how it would glide compared to yours ( i use a smaller version of this and it glides quite nicely)
Not quite the same, but maybe take a look at sheet steel? You'd have to apply some sort of adhesive or rubber layer underneath, but you could get a size that is more comfortable for you. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/RMP-Ga-Stainless-Steel-Sheet/dp/B00ICS72HQ
That's just under 1mm thick, some spray on adhesive and apply it directly to a cheapo desk pad. Would come in well under your $100 budget as well, even if you buy a cheap desk pad for the project.
You might have already got them by now, but today I received a Nike sleeve and I'd say it's pretty good with Otsu. It seems to glide well horizontally and vertically I'd say is almost the same, very marginal difference but not enough to impact your aim in my opinion.

I haven't sold any mousepad but I have a feeling that it is similar to the refund/ return system where you need to mail the item back using the carrier. Basically, you listed an item online and once you confirmed that person makes a purchase and the money is pending, you will need to make your own shipping label. Let's use eBay for example. You will need to list down what item that is, dimension, weight, size, and all that then choose your carrier and delivery address. Also, there are services out there like PayPal and eBay that you can use to create labels so you only need to pay for postage The hardest part IMO is that you will need a laster printer or one of those thermal printers like in this link: Thermal Label Printer to print out the label address and slap them on the package.
And what about the other one? Other pad
This won't get fixed because you're leaning on your wrist or relying on it to do flicks and movement.
The real fix is adapting to using a wrist-skate like this one, because it's less likely you'll switch how you aim and use your arm.
https://www.amazon.com/Forearm-Protection-Compression-Shooting-Basketball/dp/B07WX7N98J/ref=sr_1_5?crid=154OQOHX7X11M&keywords=nylon+arm+sleeve+thumb+hole&qid=1656174425&sprefix=nylon+arm+sleeve+thumb+hol%2Caps%2C57&sr=8-5 - If you need a thumb hole to reduce friction with your thumb on your pad... which based on what you told me I don't think you do.
I don't have an Artisan pad yet (Zero coming allegedly in a few weeks once LethalGamingGear receives and ships the pre-orders). However, I've been using the Precision Zero that works well and you can turn it inside out for even a smoother less friction experience.
That said, there's still a little friction caused by any sleeve (since it's cloth-on-cloth) BUT what you gain is consistency vs. using your arm skin (subject to different oil and sweat levels) or varying cloth (e.g. wearing a hoodie one day, a long sleeve shirt the next day from different materials).
If you're into hard surfaced feeling, you can get a metal mouse pad.
I've never seen this mentioned here but I use an upholstery cleaner to clean my mousepads. It's fast and the vacuum dries it a bit. I use this https://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Multi-Purpose-Portable-Upholstery-1400B/dp/B0016HF5GK?th=1

Seems a bit better quality than most of the other "generic"/"big brand" pads in similar size, and easier to keep clean as well.
Most of the pads I would want to recommend more are over the $40 budget once shipping is included and a deskmat size is selected.
Okay I see thank you, but what about this pad I’m on currently Large Extended Gaming Mouse Pad with Stitched Edges, (31.5X15.7In) Durable Non-Slip Natural Rubber Base, Waterproof Computer Keyboard Pad Mat for Esports Pros/Gamer/Desktop/Office/Home-Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087P6HQDT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_H5RE0R74DZA44D0HY5MP what speed is this?
I would recommend trying out a sleeve and seeing if it helps at all. Not needed for every person but I'm the same way where the friction of my mouse arm bothers me and slightly affects my aim, and a sleeve has helped just feel more consistent and have less mousearm friction.
These are the ones that worked for me but pretty much anything cheap of the right material that fights tight enough will work

I had this for a couple months and was generally quite happy with it, but the initial friction was a bit too much for my liking. Fairly slippery cloth pad with stitched edges. Not sure what that would look like getting it to CA tho.
I tried to get used to it too and could never do it. I ended up trying a few different sleeves until I came across these I love them and they come with 2 pair. 4 sleeves will last you a really long time.
Hi there!
We do have it in stock on Amazon US at: https://www.amazon.com/FANTECH-Symmetrical-Programmable-Buttons-Professional/dp/B09Q14S917/
Let me know if that works for you, it may be able to send to Canada.
I also recommend picking up an arm sleeve like this one
It’s pretty common to use them to reduce how much humidity and friction affects your arm against the mousepad
I just bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08WB2J4SQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (medium)
to use with my logitech g pro superlight and love it.
Honestly a keyboard rest wrist could is nice whenever I play with my controller, I move my keyboard aside and use it comfortable imo I personally have a Wood wrist rest .
I just threw out my steel series QcK in the largest size. It lasted me 4 or 5 years I think. Mainly served as a base for my hard pad though.
Switched it out with this About a week ago because it better fit the demensions of my desk. My 2 week review of it, this far, is that it's a desk mat alright. It does it's job fine.

>Razer Gigantus V2 or Steelseries QCK Edge
these are both great choices for the games you play imo. Some people will want something faster for Apex, but these are a good middle ground. If you want something a bit more visually interesting then the Xtrfy Gp4 is recommended a lot and there's a b&w design that might fit your setup
FWIW I like the QCK and Gigantus V2 equally - they're extremely similar

I use the speed side. These are the ceramic mouse feet I use. Both the feet and pad look brand new after 2 years.
Ceramic are also good for speed, but you know, do your own research on those, maybe too fast for some people, plenty of videos on youtube.

They arent much, I think I paid 70 - and they are really are good for gaming/competitive gaming.
Hey, if you've seen my review of the G-SR-SE you'll know people have realized there is now an official place to buy the SE pads in Canada for the first time ever. So I wanted to make this post so the others who have not seen my review can go purchase one of they like. As of writing this post, they only have the Divina Blue left but they are placing an order soon.
Join their Discord and DM Ljewaves to purchase. They ship around Canada as well so if you're not local in the GTA you can still purchase.
Also, Amazon (and sometimes Newegg) sell mousepads too, but it's hard to find them.
Also not cheap, but another option. :(
Im assuming his mouse weighs 80-90g?
I would recommend the MP511. I have used the MP510 when my edpi was like 850 back when i played fortnite. I think the 511 is just the updated pad for the 510 and they’re fairly the same. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095Z3SP1B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DFJ7TF40YR8H2PM7B6WS?psc=1

I'd look at a MP511 by Cooler mater. It's a faster Codura pad that should be pretty resilient. Only complaint is a lot of people are getting pads that don't roll flat out the box. I enjoyed mine for a bit before I went Skypad.
I'd get a large Codura pad. The MP511 should last you. It's pretty fast too.
I honestly think you are greatly over thinking a mousepads design...
What I will say is that due to the type of pattern they use on the cloth hairs can easily get stuck and its a pain getting them out. I have the zero and after I use it and done for the day I have a lint roller(the tape kind) and roll it gently and slowly over the mousepad to pick up anything on it.
Also, it collects dust easy. So go to amazon and buy the upholstery dust cover and cut it to mousepad size and lay it over. Keeps it brand new and reduces the cleaning from dust buildup.

HyperX Fury S Pro XL. Fast with great control, soft and smooth, durable and super easy to clean.
It’s on sale for $20 right now, which is an absolute steal imo.
You can get a MP511 for 35$ or a XXL for 45. Slightly above your budget but Codura should last you a long time.
Just a quick warning about the ROG Scabbard, which i find very low quality. It has Sweat issues with because of the rubber coating under it. If you have sweaty palms like i do, that rubber acts as an insulation preventing the pad from breathing and creates air pockets between the fabric and the rubber resulting in the fabric to come off. I've attached a link. This is Only after 3h or playing. I exchanged 3 of these , and all had the same issue. Other than that is has the best mouse movement i've felt on a mouse pad so far.

How much is this in your area and is it available? This is definitely a fast pad (a GLIDE 38 Clone)

But if you end up with a HyperX Fury Pro S make sure it's the black one as the coated speed one is surprisingly slower and also, once the coating wears (which it does quickly) you'll end up with an even slower pad.
ahh ok ! ty i found this monitor arm which is on the cheaper side but it doesn't look but bad I just need to look into reviews before hand. I've never had a monitor arm and always used the original monitors stands .
