Actually, that site hasn't had a new wallpaper for months. I remember seeing on reddit not too long ago about a post from a staff member saying that they haven't heard from the site owner in quite a while. The staff have decided to make their own wallpaper site similar to wallbase. wallhaven.cc is the next site to be looking for.
For a site that is functional and a little similar to wallbase, 4walled.cc would be a decent replacement for this.
Sad to say wallbase really is dead, see my post here.
TL;DR: Owner has been MIA for almost 6 months now. Site has been getting worse and worse. A few of us staff are starting up a replacement (wallhaven.cc)
Old Dell Precision M4500
Arch Linux with i3-gaps
i3blocks with i3blocks-contrib modules (RAM, battery, WiFi)
Vivaldi browser with Tabliss, CLI file manager is Midnight Commander
According to their twitter[ the creator of Wallbase, Yotoon, came down with an illness and lost contact both with the official Wallbase forums and Wallbase's own staff. Wallbase continued on without him for about a year, albeit without the ability to upload new wallpapers. They don't actually know why Wallbase went down -- The domain was paid until 2015 -- and without Yotoon, no one can bring it back up. Wallbase's staff are working on a new site, though: http://wallhaven.cc . It's currently in alpha, but entirely usable. Doesn't have much of a selection, but when it moves to beta, they're planning on migrating Wallbase's wallpapers over
I was looking for some help on my project wallhaven. It's a Python 3 package for the Wallhaven API.
I am currently rewriting everything on another branch, so some help would be appreciated. I plan on making a library that can be imported by others, together with a CLI to quickly download wallpapers. Maybe even a GUI in the future.
I need to code a lot stuff that I still need to learn, and having some ideas on how to do things would be great. So, if you already know them, or want to learn them together, just give me a heads up.
Cheers... I was browsing ultra wide wallpapers to find a design that matched my setup. The pic I sent them has a resolution of 7680 * 4320 and the pad is 900 * 400mm.
Heres a link to the source file. They sent me a preview before starting production and even asked me if I was happy with the result once the pad was printed.
This particular image isn't actually pixel art, but there is /r/PixelArt.
Also...
I got it from here. It's a pretty good place for wallpapers. I've linked it in another comment if you want that exact same wallpaper.
And yeah, they sure are making really good monitors with very, very thin bezels lately. Lovely to look at, and great for multi-screen setups.
Não tem de que. Eu gostava muito do Wallbase, mas acabou. Mas os dois sucessores espirituais fazem um bom trabalho.

E para algo especifico como wallpaper com calendário tem o http://www.kriegs.net/portfolio/all/wallpapers/
Nice! But here is a better way to approach this. Instead of looking for your exact wallpaper size, you can search for a topic and search for sizes above a certain dimmension. This way you can find what you're looking for in a wallpaper yet still have the right dimmensions. If the image is bigger you can just crop it or do some basic image editing. If you don't care about what topic of wallpapers, there are websites like http://wallhaven.cc
This might not be immediately helpful, but there used to be this site called wallbase.cc which went defunct and is more or less wallhaven.cc now.
They have high res images of almost everything and if you don't mind cropping, there are a lot of good gaming backgrounds. Some high enough res that you don't have to worry about stretch either.
Here's a gallery but most of my wallpapers came from either wallbase.cc (which was previously shut down and eventually became wallhaven.cc though the quantity of wallpapers hasn't caught up yet) or /r/foodporn.
Wallbase murió porque el único que tenía acceso al hosting desapareció. El resto de la gente de Wallbase se mudó a Wallhaven. Dicen que van a pasar todos los walls de Wallbase a Wallhaven cuando salgan de la alpha.
According to @Wallbase
>Around December last year, a few of the wallbase staff came together and started working on a new site, http://wallhaven.cc
> Wallhaven is currently in alpha testing, but when it goes to beta, we plan to upload the entire collection of wallbase's wallpapers in there
