Because is spoofing, you think is coming from you but its not. This is a well know email going around these days.
Change your passwords and you should be fine.

I'm pretty sure your email was in a breach and your information is online, this website will check for you.
It isn't implement yet in this version of Outlook app for Android...even though it was 2-way sync in previous Outlook's android app, called Outlook.com
Now, when you add a new contact in your phone's contact list under Outlook account, that contact will appear in the Outlook app as well, but won't sync to your Microsoft account (i.e. it stays only in your phone).
Ironically, when I use phone Contact's filter functions, these synced contacts from Outlook account appear to be categorized in phone's Local Contacts under Colleagues group, instead of Outlook contact.
If you couldn't know what to and you don't have written password in Notepad or somewhere else, then you may visit http://download.cnet.com/Recovery-Toolbox-for-Outlook-Password/3000-2369_4-10567415.html
If Outlook is running, quit the program. Double-click the Scanpst.exe, located in the Drive: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Office \ OFFICE12. In the Enter the name of the file to check, enter the file name with the extension PST or OST, you want to check, or click the Browse button to find it. To specify the scan settings, click the Settings button and select the desired option. Click the Start button. If errors are detected by the scan is complete you will be prompted to start the process of correcting errors. During the restore process creates a backup file. To change the default name or location of this file, enter a new name in the Name field of the backup file, or click Browse to locate the file. Click the Restore button. Start Outlook, using the profile that contains the recovered PST-file. From the Go menu, click Folder List. In the Folder List displays a folder named Recovered Personal Folders, which are folders that exist in the default Outlook folder or Lost and Found. Recovered folders generally empty, as they represent the newly created PST-file. Lost and Found folder contains folders and items that have been restored using recovery tools "Inbox". Items that are missing from the Lost and Found can not be recovered. If you see a Recovered Personal Folders folder, you can create a new PST-file, and then drag in items from the Lost and Found folder. After moving all the elements can be removed from the profile file Recovered Personal Folders (PST-file) containing the Lost and Found folder. Also try this tool ost to pst converter
PTNLemay,
Large breaches occur often. Please reference this URL for insight. https://haveibeenpwned.com/PwnedWebsites
Like your account isn't compromised but instead due to your infrequent logins from different IP's you've triggered the account security. Are you logging in to your emails in different locations? That might explain it.
If that's not the case then your email might have been breached and used to spam others. Unathoriezed access to your account is typically due to a password. Not ruling out a password leak, you can always check HaveiBeenPwned.com for any large public leaks which included your email.
Consider maintaining your online accounts especially emails. Should you have no use for your old often unprofessionally named email, set the mailbox to forward to your primary email. While you're at it, start using a password manager. This way you don't loose access to accounts in the future.
If you can get the email file sent to you as an attachment(not forwarded), in Outlook you can open it, goto File > Properties > Interent Headers and copy all that text. Then paste it in to a header reader: https://mxtoolbox.com/Public/Tools/EmailHeaders.aspx
This will show exactly what time the email was sent from their mailbox and how long it took for it to be handed off to your Exchange/mailbox.
How was this set up? Were your contacts set up to merge with your Apple contacts (if any)? Have you checked iCloud to see if anything is there? It's not far fetched to consider that, if you had no contacts in your iCloud account, that it "copied" the empty list from there into your Outlook account. I found the link below - maybe it may lead to something productive:

By the way, if you do have a significant amount of contacts on an old device, thank your lucky stars! That's better than what you have now.
By the way, for security purposes, we've asked all our employees to move their email account from the native Apple app to the Outlook app. My suggestion for you would be to do the same. That would also help keep things separate for you.

But, to be honest, for your situation, I would leave as is, i.e. status quo. Continue to use your new Calendar for the reminder of 2021, and going forward. Then, use the old corrupt one, for historical purposes.
Clearly, there is an issue in the old Calendar, and it is more than likely related to an item on said Calendar. Exporting and then Importing into a the newer Calendar, might yield the same issue...
I was surprised to find a rday old post on a 6 month thread. Also didn't expect this reply :p
I really don't understand why it's not fixed yet. I'm currently planning on switching to thunderbird mail. They're taking over K9 mail, but it's still under development. Source: https://k9mail.app/2022/06/13/K-9-Mail-and-Thunderbird.html
I know, that my friends usually using for such cases special instruments. I would suggest two variants:

As I know, it is perfectly approaches for one problem file.
The steps are easy, here they are.
install adblockplus for your browser, I use firefox so this one for me: https://adblockplus.org/
go to homail inbox
click on the abp icon on the top right of the page, looks like a stop sign
click on block element
mouse over to the left sidebar so it's highlighted, then click
a small popup should appear, displaying the element you selected and asking if you want to block it. click block if yes, cancel if no.
when I did the above, it blocked the toolbar the inbox slid over, giving me the screenspace back, here's the screenshot:
Passwords are probably stored in hash form using hashing functions like bcrypt. The algorithm takes the password and a salt code and output a hash. It can check to see if you re-enter a password but cannot actually retrieve the original.

Yeah I'm just in the process of switching back to Thunderbird right now actually. IMAP + syncing with gmail seems to work better than it used to in the past.
> I'm a big fan of anything that shows folders similar to Outlook which is why I didn't want to use Gmail.
What is it that you don't like about Gmail's labels? You can use them pretty much exactly like folders, the only difference is that emails can reside in multiple.
If you go to https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/labels you can go down them all and click "show" to ensure they're always shown in the sidebar. You can also hide some of the default ones if you don't want them shown.
Also go to https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?zx=j7h8qw4cfdjv#settings/chat and turn "Chat off", so that it's not wasting space in the sidebar.
They'll pretty much appear the same as folders like with any other email client.

I've seen issues with Outlook and IMAP at times, and find Thunderbird to be an excellent replacement. https://www.thunderbird.net So if you continue to see issues give it a go. It looks very much like Outlook and other email clients too, so user adoption should be easy.
You can contact SoftwareImperial they might help you into this matter, you can also try their program https://www.softwareimperial.com/ost-to-pst-converter.html and stated to support to migrate up-to 2TB of email data.
Why just Attachment when you can download everything to your local drive from Outlook. Mail Backup X does it for you. It extracts your entire email contents and attachments to the offline mode. works on all versions of Outlook in both the OS platforms. for reference: http://www.mailbackupx.com/how-to-scenerios/how-to-backup-outlook-mac-mails-on-mac.html
You can easily save all of your email attachments with Power Automate. For this, do the following:
Now, all of the attachments sent to your inbox will go automatically to a folder Email Attachments from Power Automate in Google Drive.
Maybe can try Power Automate Desktop.
We actively discourage subfolders in the "inbox" and use mail folders 1 level down.
This is easily done in Power Automate. I have a Flow that strips all my email attachments and adds them to OneDrive. Here is a link to the flow!
Depending on what you want to do you can possibly do this with Microsoft Flow using Recurrence. There's a bit of a learning curve but if you've done any VBA or coding it'll be a short one.

> Anyway I am now looking for a good email client replacement. Don't mind paying if this is what it takes, as long as it does everything outlook does (Gmail, 2 x hotmail, IMAP, and calendar for the 2 hotmail accts), push notifications of course,
I use Nine for my work email (Exchange-based) and some IMAP accounts, and it works pretty well. It supports "IMAP Idle" for IMAP push notifications (although it's experimental and you need to enable it in the 'labs' settings), and it's a secure app as no data goes through their servers (your phone directly communicates with your email servers). The app costs money though. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninefolders.hd3
I do t think it would hide your location as much as it would just e a different IP. I’m unfamiliar with NordVPN but I think all PC traffic routes through it so you should be fine. If you have gmail you can email yourself and check the Sender IP address information and see if it is changing it or not?
It looks like you can grab one time purchase. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07FTLRGCM?tag=pcp0f-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1
Looks to have Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint for around 320 CA dollars.
Normal 1 year sub is around 79CAD Yearly and 8CAD per month https://products.office.com/en-ca/compare-all-microsoft-office-products?&activetab=tab%3aprimaryr1
If they come out with a new version within 4 years and you get it you'll have payed like 4 dollars less than if you had just gotten the yearly sub. if you go month to month you'll have payed more.
