You should see Android Pathfinder acg player aid - it's perfect. It has everything you need, except saving slots for more than one deck per character.
I just found this guide as well. https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/101370/guide-new-players
It's written by Hawkmoon and he's one of the most knowledable and helpful people on the paizo forums. I haven't read the guide, but I can trust that it's Grade A material.
it just came out so i wouldn't expect a discount for some time, however, if you have an android device or emulator you can play that for free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.obsidian.pacg1&hl=en
or at least test it out to see if it is worth the price.
Have you tried including the Adventure Guide story lines? It might appeal to your D&D friend as it expands the narrative beyond the few lines on the cards. You can download it for free in the BGG files section.
That one is for Skull and Shackles, there's one for RotR as well and Autoduelist is working on one for WotR.
I use FolderSync and Tasker to sync my save games when I open the app and then again when I close it to do this for now.
Here is the link for the SnS Character sheets. In the comments, you can find the link to the setup for RotR. No Warth sheets yet.

I haven't really gotten a chance to play with my RPG group yet, but I do have one house rule in mind: The blessing deck is 20 cards + 5 per player.
Yes this makes the game easier. But honestly I don't really like the idea of a 6 player game giving each player only 5 turns. This way they get ~8 and don't feel as rushed.
By the way, here's a math thing to show how the difficulty of the game rises with more players: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/22lvtalpxo (A is the number of extra cards per player. There will always be 30 cards with 2 players for this graph.)
Side note: there are several characters outside of RotR that can use Dex for Finesse cards.
When playing solo, I've actually used a card sorting tray as my play area. 18 slots seems to be enough most of the time, and I can stack stuff if I'm pushed for space (e.g. each location card on top of its deck).
I bought plastic penny sleeves for the cards, as they can get pretty damaged during shuffling. I got a 10 pack of 100 sleeves for $10.

It was on the UK-equivalent Amazon, but this is the kind of thing I went for:

You get one guaranteed set of same-colour dice in a little velvet draw-bag, then a load of other supposedly-random dice - mine had another 12-14 full sets of same-colour dice in the bag, though, along with a bunch of random dice.
there's also
Which should let you roll pretty much any kind of dice you want. The only thing I don't think it does is add bonuses. But it's very flexible.
