It is a popular service that allows people get things from Usenet. Lots of people still use Usenet rather than torrents to get pirate content. Also mentioned in the article is that VyprVPN is also part of this whole sting operation. I can't vouch for the story but if it's on Cryptome there is a good chance of it being true. I've referred this story over to the folks at TorrentFreak.com and they said they were already loooking into it but weren't going to publish anything untill they can find more proof to back up this guy's story.
