> Do antibiotics expire though?
Yes, just like most consumable products you'll find some version of an expiration date on the packaging. However, also like most consumable products, that date is more of a guideline for restocking and less a "this goes bad at midnight on this date" kind of thing. You can read more about the study explaining that here, but the highlight is this sentence: "The result showed that about 90% (of medications) were safe and effective as long as 15 years past their original expiration date."
> Which type of antibiotic is best to stock up on?
It's kind of like saying "Which spare part should I use if my car stops working?" Purchase a highly regarded book from a reputable author, like Alton's Antibiotics and Infectious Disease: The Layman's Guide to Available Antibacterials in Austere Settings, and consider which potential situations are more or less likely to apply to you.

I have a large library of docs that I mirror onto a USB stick. I bought this nifty little connector that lets me plug it into a Micro USB or Type C phone or tablet. Unfortunately Kindles don't recognize it though.
But yeah, I've been using the idea that a solar panel can power a device then use this drive in it to access tons of info.
Try this edition of the Storey's Country Wisdom Bulletin Cooking with Dried Beans.
They have booklets on pretty much every homesteading and self-sufficiency topic in a just-the-facts, no fluff, yet detailed guide. At $4 each, I've been buying 2 or 3 every time I get paid.

Try SingleFile. It installs into your web browser as a button. SingleFiles will not download a whole website but allows you to download your current viewed html web page into a single html file that you can save locally. And those files can be opened by any web browser without SingleFiles installed.
Thanks, it's more compressing the individual .PDF files I'm interested in. I know if I upload them to https://www.ilovepdf.com/ each one will lose 5%-40% without a noticeable quality drop. I tried a few local command-line tools but didn't find one that actually worked.
I'm a big fan of making it fun and age appropriate. Hide and seek is a great game for teaching actual skills for hiding and staying still/quiet in a shelter in place situation for instance. Playful Preparedness: Prepare Your Children-For Life! 26 Games for Teaching Situational Awareness and the Survival Mindset to Children of All Ages is a decent book with good suggestions
