I am not defending TT, but hear me out.
What's so weird about all this recent drama is that Andrew clearly cares about his business, his site is updated regularly, has videos made and edited for each new rep, got photos from multiple angles and descriptions, site is organized and searchable and has been around for a long time. Honestly, one of the best sites to look up current reps...despite not being a TD on RWI....
That being said, I don't see why he wants to do these shady shit to ruin his name and biz? Just for a few hundred bucks? I suspect its likely that there are some management issues going on behind Andrew's back? If that's the case, I hope Andrew sort this shit out quick and own up to this mishap by making it right to his customers asap. Word of mouth is powerful especially trades that cannot advertise openly. Moreover, there are reasons that we don't lightly give out our credit card info on unsecured sites and there are reasons that some dealers just straight up don't take credit card payment or paypal unless you've earn that dealer's trust. Use common sense and use privacy.com if you wanna pay via credit card.
Seiko 5 automatic with green band is $60 on Amazon. Fantastic watch. They have different colors as well.

Edit: also, just check Amazon for Seiko canvas or Citizen canvas. Tons of great options and well under your budget, the all black Citizen ecodrive looks amazing, might have to get myself one
>t silicone grease do you use? Any is good
I personally used this Diver Silicone Grease
but there's ones like this Applicator that gives you a nice even coating.

I used the diver's grease just because it was faster shipping and needed to waterproof it asap. The o-rings on scuba seals, regulators etc need to withstand pressure and be underwater as well. Maybe the formula for the watch is different but I've seen on RWI forum, way back when, use scuba gear silicone grease.
The GA2100 is the Casio GShock that has a strong resemblance to the Royal Oak. Some call it the CasiOak. This case/bracelet kit takes it even closer.

GP'd this guys Movado watches. Currently in contact with him on whatsapp, will post a review when/if received. Judging from photos I've received they look good.

Really any of the similar ones work. Basically a home version of what jewelers have.
Instead of splurging on the bergeon sets I picked up a wiha precision bit set and it's served me well through a dozen watches so far.
You need a press to put it back, if you don't have one might want to ask a local watch smith to press it quickly.
Amazon. $17.

Pretty decent. Lightweight and comfortable. For the price, very good clasp as well. I love it.
You can get a really nice Seiko 5 sports automatic for around a $100 or so, and that’s genuine, waterproof, will stand a beating and handle flour and sweat and water of a commercial kitchen.
They are all different faces, straps, brackets, even all black. Check them out
Search google for Seiko 5 Automatic Sport.
Or even look for an Invicta Automatic on Amazon, well under $100 and uses a Seiko automatic movement. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B000GXAUYW
I answered this about a month ago or so. I’d recommend searching “watch repair kit” or otherwise first.
Here’s a watch repair kit I purchased. It has served me well: Vastar 177 PCS Watch Repair Tool... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082MC534D?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This is some juicy OC!
I’ve seen a lot of models on amazon that test up to 10 Bar
I’d have to have a massive collection before I could justify the $3,700 purchase of the witschi waterproof tester but it’s such an interesting machine.
Maybe if I got more into watch trading. Who knows 🤷♂️
Looks like they are releasing also a white V2: https://imgbb.com/3yRffmF
I don't know if it's placebo but the right one looks already better in terms of texture and lighting. I guess I will order one when the dust settles, some videos/qc are out and no more V1 are lying around for TD's to throw at you telling it's V2.
Bought my watch from a TD dealer, they sent pics back for QC. Can you guys spot flaws? https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPL1MRhuakD-Ct0sYCNcot5-enfMyu5gzjyZ8es-3n-ln7oJbPo-b6BYiOmdfskHQ/photo/AF1QipMrWx5UNkVGW9jfvrJcOzNQTP5mVzb7XinfLYyK?key=NzBTYjZGRjdHc3lOY2Zrc2RMdUE2R1QyMHlZQnN3
Look at that picture, that is a 904 ARF sub, date is much thinner. Ask to see another date and if it looks weird i would ask for another date pic
do you think the following is a v7? all of the pictures look like it is v7

Hi guys, I am looking to cop this datejust 41 replica and was wondering if its a decent quality for its price. Narikaa quoted me 90£ for it. Please give me your two cents on this matter. Must appreciated. Here is the link for better images. https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-2ztwmK/
The smug mug website is where you'll can browse his stock.
Email him to order/talk about it.
He is a trusted dealer and super nice to deal with. His watches have some insane value.
https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-SH9KFj
The second hand is a 3hz second is is sweeping. Gens sweep at 4hz, a little smoother but not noticeable unless side by side.
You'd need to pay $380 for the noob v7 to get a 4hz movement.
Forget all those. Just Google Regmariner. Narikaa is a TD on the rep forums and supplies these. Probably the best value subs currently available. Around $120 these are a steal. Have a link to his current available stock if you want it.
I just used this to change the bracelet on a 5 digit Rolex sub. It comes with 8 different interchangeable tip sizes and I found one that fit the sub slots correctly.

That means its not tightened all the way. You tighten it with a tool like this one https://www.amazon.com/Alucy-Opener-Remover-Wrench-Repairer/dp/B07RK9P6P1/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=rolex+opening+tool&qid=1666858430&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjYyIiwicXNhIjoiMy40NiIsInFzcCI6IjMuMjcifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-3
Pop the bezel off as described in numerous YouTube videos. Exacto knife carefully through the glue holding the insert. Use 3m insert ring to replace glue (https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Rings-Sticking-Insert-Submariner-GMT/dp/B07D6T27GB) to stick the new one on. Pop the bezel back on.
I use something like this but I’m in Canada so had to go to Amazon US for that link.
My friend told me that the actual AD uses Cratex “Fine” abrasive material within their polishing pens so this may actually be better to go with tbh.
I used this for my sub, took me an hour since the subs have way more markers and smaller than a GMT, but for $4, the outcome is fantastic. Unfortunately, I already sold the sub.

The only downside is that the slots are a little bit small for bigger watches like the ROO.
I've been buying this one - I have bought a few of them since I started buying reps:

Decent quality, and the watches fit fine, large or small. No winding mechanisms, but I've read that some folks believe it isn't necessary for most collectors (check on the gearpatrol website - there was an article last year on this).

I bought this Rothwell 12 watch box in red/black. Love it. There are smaller versions as well
6767F. The F stands for fine tip. Fits better into the openings on Rolex SELs.
I bought a 6767F a few months back. Well worth the investment.
What most 'Watch Aficionado' people do not know is that watch guys spend a few hours a month grinding their screwdriver tips. Unless you specifically buy 'hollow ground' tipped drivers (with a good-sized price premium), if you work on watches, you must have a jeweler's screwdriver holder and 'sharpening stones' to remove the slope to the driver's tip. This is why many good drivers will ship with- or separately sell- additional tips so one can grind away until they are satisfied with the fit.
https://www.esslinger.com/watchmakers-screwdriver-holder-for-sharpener/
If you're doing screw/threaded link bracelets, you must also have some Blue Loctite #242 and degrease the screw threads with some solvent like alcohol. for around $7.00 one small tube will last a loooong time.
TBH I don't have one yet, but I have been looking at this . https://www.amazon.com/SONGMICS-Removable-Premium-Display-UJWB12BK/dp/B07G4274MF/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=TQSD9AOY070&keywords=12+watch+case&qid=1657663989&sprefix=12+watch+case%2Caps%2C277&sr=8-3#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div

If you dont want to take a chance, I'm sure most good watch repair shops will be able to drill it out for you. Then switch to the more reliable spring bars for stripped the screws.
Overpriced at $48, but this is a whole set that's actually kinda decent. Get the biggest one that will fit the slot, and better yet don't slam it home, lift the blade from the bottom so just the sides, not the tip are doing the work.
These are some pretty decent ideas. I read a watchsmith say that he used an ultrasonic cleaner to help loosen them. Everybody has their favorite penetrating oil, I wouldn't personally use WD40, that's water displacement #40 for keeping rockets from rusting, not as a penetrant. I'd use liquid wrench or kroil or something like that, leave it soaking overnight.
I'd also use a kit that everybody buys when they first get a watch. Everything will quickly break but it'll get you buy if you're not too picky. The plastic bracelet holder is especially nice to hold the thing vertical while you work on that stubborn screw.
Also makes it easier to hold the screwdriver steady so you don't scratch anything like I did with my first bracelet. Might be worth considering painters tape over the other links for protection, also when you 're removing springbars, another mistake I made.
It chapped my *** to spend $50 on screwdrivers, but only until I spent $500 and it was still just a drop in the bucket LOL

You could adopt what we've got going on at r/RepLadies in Airtable. It uses the Reddit API to capture review posts - and match a post to a seller / brand / style. It also pull scores on Quality, Accuracy, and Satisfaction. This ends up giving us an aggregated list of sellers connected to reviews. I'm not sure how structured your reviews are, but the more structured they are, the more it's helpful.

NYF WIildman GMT Master II: purchased new from u/lykanjt on reptimebst (lykan_JT on IG)
I just got this XFactory Black Bay Bronze from my TD and was very pleased. I wound it and set the time before wearing it for one day and was even more pleased. Day two, I unscrew the crown to change the time and the whole thing comes out with absolutely no resistance. I can no longer change the time or wind it up.
Any ideas how difficult/expensive this fix would be? I've never done anything on a watch besides changing a battery or a bracelet.
Here's a look with the case back off: https://imgbb.com/upload
I believe it's the Asia 2824 movement.
Thanks for any insight you might be able to provide
Need good light, eye protection, you need to be in a comfortable position while working, use the wheels for 1-2 seconds at a time then check progress. Do not press down hard, let the abrasive do the work, all you need is a feather light touch - if the foam wheel deforms while in contact with the watch case you will end up removing material you did not mean to remove. If you are not nearsighted like me you will need magnification: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015IS6IY/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_A1A39Z7DGPCE85SGVMQG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1.
Make sure to remove the movement! Vibration and metal dust are not good for movements, not even quartz ones. Use blue masking tape to cover all areas you are not working on, especially the crystal, especially if it’s not a sapphire crystal
I don't have one so that's why I'm curious. From what I read , the bergeon is THE best but super expensive.
The ones sold in amazon, I heard that the hand press (the one with lever and you push it with your hand) is wiggly and not stable.
The good one supposedly is the screw press, so you turn the screw and the nylon cup press the crystal.
But I'm just reading articles so don't take my word for it.

Being in Germany, there have been nightmare stories about the strict customs. Luckily triangle shipping over the UK went well. I think I have to order another one while I can before brexit.
Another source of anxiety for me was the logistics partner used by RoyalMail UK: GLS. 1 star reviews everywhere (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/gls-group.de) Could be a hit or miss but the parcel was shipped from the UK in 4 days so there's that.
