Today we're going to take a quick look at Super Wolfenstein HD by developer Free Lives. Designed for the Indies vs. Pewdiepie game jam, this reimagination of ID Software's Wolfenstein 3D features some hilarious and over-the-top physics as well as destructible walls - which actually change how the game works pretty fundamentally. Overall I feel the additional mechanics create a substantially more fun game than the original and I just wish there was more!

Developer Game Art Studio is working on an upcoming sci-fi futuristic combat/racer called Quantum Rush and I decided to give it a spin. There's a bit of a barrier to entry with having to create an account and download a client which has to go through some updates, but the game itself seems pretty solid. Once some more people are playing I could see revisiting this again in the future! Check out the beta at the link below.

Refunktion by developer D. Grieshofer is a first-person stealth/action platformer designed in Unreal Engine 4. JUMPSCARE WARNING
Today we're going to check out a spooky hotel that may or may not be real in Hotel Remorse by developer Charlie Behan. Sorry for the lack of Indie Impressions lately, life has been throwing me a few curve balls lately that have made it a bit difficult to record. I hope to get things back on track soon.

Today we're going to check out an early alpha for Ethereality by developer Arkasia. This is a first-person exploration game that takes place on an island where you look for orbs that contain the music from the developers accompanying new music album. I thought it was a novel and interesting way to give context to music and will guide the listener to think new things they may not have had they not had the chance to inhabit this space. The game is rather early on but I really enjoyed the idea and can't wait to see more! Check out Ethereality for free at the link below.

Here it comes again, another wave of endlessly addictive clicking game with Clicker Heroes by Playsaurus. Build arbitrary numbers larger and love every minute of it! Today we're going to have a look at a very polished and minimalistic hack & slash game called VoYD by developer Nat Pash. Check out VoYD for free at the link below.

Today we're going to check out Wilbler Park by developer Jake Clover. Wilbler Park is a very strange first-person exploration game where we can learn to appreciate some surreal landscapes and pull out little details with our binoculars. I thought it was going to be very simple but after playing a bit there seems to be a bit of very odd meat to this experience. Check out Wilbler Park yourself for free at the link below!

Gray by developer Jovcem is a first person puzzle/platformer/exploration game where players must use stretchy cubes to solve traversal puzzles leading to a lighthouse off in the distance. Today we're going to check out a little life-sim / strategy game about managing the ecosystem of a pond called Among Ripples by developer Eat Create Sleep. We can introduce new life to the environment and see what impact it has as well as adjust the oxygen levels in the water. It's a very cool concept and I'm curious what you all take away from it. Today we're going to check out Super Skeleman by developer Ben Allen - a shortform 2D pseudo-metroidvania platformer. Today we're gonna take a look at a short bit of interactive poetry called Look by developer Mikkel_BF. We're going to go on a little journey through a few points in nature in this first-person exploration game that will pay off in a very pretty ending. Great atmosphere, art and animation make this one I had to cover! Check out Look for free at the link below.
Exoptable Money by developer Wertpol is an incremental game in the same vein as Cookie Clicker or Clicker Heroes with a little bit of a story and enigmatic quality. I didn't spend a ton of time yet but the letters I started receiving in the game were a bit unsettling. I've heard this game might get pretty dark so just keep that in mind if you decide to use this magic money generating box to see where that takes you. Grab Exoptable Money for free at the link below!

Kiwi 64 by developer Siactro is a 3D "collect-a-thon" platformer that pays homage to games like Banjo-Kazooie (and very directly that game in particular). Bayou by developer Dreamfeel self-identifies as a "minimalist ink-drawn swamp horror" game and I'd basically agree. Players will boat around in a swamp on the hunt for a gigantic alligator. We've got one spear and one throw to kill it... it sounds so straightforward, but what are we really hunting? Check out Bayou for free in your browser or as a download at the link below.
