A little goes a long way! But this stuff tastes just like banana Laffy-Taffy: LorAnn Banana Flavor
I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086XH2FTK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I can't vouch for it long term, but reviews are good and I had no issues at all installing it.
The person who recommended webrestaurantstore is right. I buy five gallons of Navron Diet and it lasts for months. Tastes great too. I actually prefer it over the taste of Diet Pepsi. If you go that route you need to buy a bib adapter to dispense the syrup. Here is the link because it can be hard to figure out which one you need. Good luck!
I bought pelletized dry ice, but it was still too big to fit in the opening. I had to put it into a ziplock bag and crush it with a hammer. The bag ripped at the seams and while I got it done, it was a pain in the ass. I bought this for next time.
I haven't used the Bubly flavors so I don't know if this will help, but I use these for the Sodastream flavors and they work perfectly. So if the Bubly flavors come in the same size bottles as the SS ones, these should work.
I've seen ice cube trays that form long, cylindrical cubes designed to be put in water bottles.
I wasn't able to get this type of adapter to work. I couldn't finesse the pressure from the 5lb tank using the main valve on the tank. I ended up buying one of these. It has a screw to depress the valve in the 60L tank and I could release CO2 very gently from the 5lb.
I like Orange Crush, it tastes more or less like the soda itself but only contains 5 calories/serving. Same amount of sodium as a can of coke, unfortunately, but no sugar.
Yeah, I connected my Aarke to a 10 pound tank. I got the hose with the quick release.
I didn't want to take the Aarke apart, so I attached a wire to the collar on the quick release with a hose clamp.
Since I only had to do it once, it was ok but fiddley to do. The quick release allows one side of the hose to be a much smaller diameter, so you're using a drill bit instead of a hole saw, if you're putting it through a counter top.
edit: here's the hose I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HRWN5TW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You don't use a regulator for sodastream. You need a direct connection to the tank. The adapter is sold as a kit that directly connects to the tank. If you are connecting to an existing tank that is already part of another carbonation system, you'll need a CGA320 tee.
I got something like this..
CGA320 to sodastream adapter.
I got mine from aliexpress, so it took a month to arrive, but it was a little cheaper lol
By old style bottles do you mean ones that look like these?

They all seem so similar, got this one: WADEO G1/2 CO2 Cartridges CGA320... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LP9PL3Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share, thought it was an issue w/ the pin per another comment/question, returned/replaced quickly, great shipper, same problem…no fizz. In the US, I bought and adapter like this which allows me to connect a 5lb CO2 tank directly to the Soda Stream Fizzi. Not sure fitting sizes in Slovakia, but you may be able to find something.
You can buy liquid or anhydrous (water soluble powder) caffeine on the internet and add it to any drink.
Get a basic cola syrup e.g.Monin Sugarcane Cola and add your own caffeine and some vanilla extract. Not sure of the availability right now of Mountain Dew clones like Fountain Mist, but Sodastream is supposed to be rolling out genuine Mountain Dew syrup at some point.
https://www.amazon.com/nuCaffeine-Unflavored-Caffeine-Bitterness-Servings/dp/B08XYN4K4G/ref=sr\_1\_5?dchild=1&keywords=liquid+caffeine&qid=1620823879&sr=8-5
See if there are any paintball stores near you and give them a call. There's one near where I live that will charge you a one-time $15/container fee to modify the SodaStream cartridge so that it can be refilled at a standard CO2 location. Then it goes from $15 return/exchange every time to just $5 to refill. You'll make up the difference in no time.
Optionally, you can also get an adapter like this and a paintball CO2 tank that can be refilled at any paintball store, most Dick's Sporting Goods, etc. $5 to fill a 20oz container that'll last longer than the standard Soda Stream one.
Not sure how helpful this is but I basically stopped buying premade syrup and I nearly exclusively drink "ginger ale" that I make using ginger juice and sucralose.
* I use this liquid sucralose - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078VRVCDS/
* I use home-made ginger juice. I purchased a vitamix (a very strong blender) that I use to liquify a hand of ginger that I then strain through a 400 mesh strainer. I use maybe an ounce or two of ginger juice to flavor a sodastream bottle with about 16 drops of sucralose.
The sodastream brand sodas are not even close. They are half diet soda half regular and even if they were all normal sugar they still wouldn't taste as good. If they drink enough, you can get bag-in-box on-brand coke syrup (its made for soda fountains like at fast-food restaurants). and it is the real deal, but I'm not sure it would be worth it since they make a lot of soda but its expensive af. https://www.amazon.com/Coke-Classic-Soda-Syrup-Gallon/dp/B00HE42V8Y
BIB typically have one of two types of connectors. The Coke "Red Hat" screw on, and the older Pepsi style "slip on and push in" (QCD). I believe that, like the Narvon, Boylan uses a QCD. You can get the connector already assembled with a picnic valve. Like this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CMCRCY6/
do you have any issues with taste/ smell?
I recenetly bought a 20lb food grade from air gas and bought this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZP6TY18/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#productDetails
It smells and tastes like chemicals. I'm super bummed that this did not work like everyone else. I got the food grade c02 that does not have a dip tube - it comes out of the top gas. either my c02 is bad or the teflon on the inner braided steel adapter is making it tast this way
Cold water carbonates better. I keep a Slimline water container in the fridge to fill the bottles.
I leave the cover off so it flows faster.
First, I should note that I do not have a successful system, so I am not the best person to advise. This is the regulator that I purchased and it sits on the CO2 tank. The hose and adapter for soda stream I also purchased on Amazon. I had to take the regulator and the hose to my local plumbing supply to get adapters to connect everything together. If I had known that I was going to need help to set it up, I would have purchased everything (except for the SodaStream adapter) from the local guys because I figure that if I need advice, I should pay them for it by buying their products. Also, keep in mind that my regulator setup is not working perfectly, the pressure is a bit low. I get some carbonation, but not as much as when I use the SodaStream canisters.
I just purchased these:
20LB -> Paintball adapter (CGA320 -> G1/2-14): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06VWGG51F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll try to post back when my stuff gets here! I don't get the co2 tank until Friday.
Not sure if this is what you are asking...
I make a tonic base or syrup to add to carbonated water. It is 1000 times better than schwepps and really different than anything you can buy pre made. I did a bunch of research and found out that commercial American tonic water isnt even close to the real thing.
Quinine for centuries has come from the bark of the cinch ona tree and guess what? Amazon carries it! Here is a link to a "kit" that has both Cinchona bark powder and citric acid, both of which are required to make the base syrup. Other ingredients include Lime and grapefruit peel, lemon grass, citrus juice, cinnamon, ect.

Go to Bed Bath & Beyond and steal one off the display. Everybody does it! :)
Just Kidding, obv (OR NOT, depending on you level of larcenious behavior)
Here is the adapter that I used. Just make sure it is the TR21-4 G1/2 that is selected, that is the one used for the US. Living in NYC the 5lb tank would probably be the best since it is easy to carry around.
They sell on amazon too:

Re read it..
Your need pink sodastream co2's sorry I read that u got 2 quick connects as a hose for co2(been carbinating beer, with other equipment, today)
If you are hooking it to a Terra, the adapter listed in the video will not work. You need a quick connect adapter like this. The hose he lists will work. You just swap the threaded adapter on the end for the quick connect adapter.
I think I have the same size 5lb bottle. Not sure what connection you are using I'm using the one in the link below. You gotta open the valve VERY slow or their anti-fill valve kicks in. I still have ones that I fail on and have to do again. It's tricky. Also how may tanks have you filled off the 5 pounder?
Sorry for the confusion...have to take the valve off the 2l sodastream bottle using the method above, and then screw the valve into the adapter hose.
Link for adapter hose: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9XQGGZY?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
I got mine set up with a 5lb tank about two weeks ago.
I bought this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804333835506.html (cga 320, 50") and this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00UXJ9SS8
The tank comes empty, my local beer store does co2 exchanges. I gave them $20 and my tank, they gave me a full one.
Put it all together. The only "problem" is that it's a little louder now that I have the back panel off.
thanks, I'll try it! I was using Bubly drops in the peach flavor, which is ok, but I'm hoping to find something better. (Something about Bubly, all of their flavors taste so much more artificial to me, even their canned drinks.)
I even tried buying pear candy flavoring to add to it (Hobbyland brand), but I don't recommend. It's awful. It doesn't taste remotely close to pear.
I bought this adapter on Amazon and it does not require a regulator and works fine.
I also bought a used 5lb CO2 tank on FB Marketplace for $60 (nearly full). When it was empty I took it to my local Airgas they exchanged it for a full one for $40.
As has already been discussed your math is off on liters to pounds of CO2. I get about 6 months out of my 5lb tank, with probably an average of 1-2 liters of soda per day.
This is an option if you are just looking to eliminate the plastic bottles, works with Soda Stream, mine has been very durable and vacuum sealed insulator stays cold all day with just a little ice.

This is the one I used but you need to sacrifice a quick connect tank valve and will need to get a standard adapter hose kit.
To add on to this, there are effervescent bottle sanitizing tablets you can get that will help with this and any funk you get from biofilm build up in the bottle. If you drink directly from the bottle, there's a pretty good chance that bacteria will make a home in there because that's what they do. They can be hard to get rid of with simple soap and water because the bacteria create protective films over themselves that prevent the soap (and a lot of other things) from bothering them.
These tablets increase the acidity of the water and the effervescent action helps to agitate and circulate the acidic water and kill off the bacteria and remove other organic sources of unpleasant tastes and smells. I've been using these, but there's a number of other tablets from other sources that do the same thing as well.
I do this with a 20lb CO2 tank, which costs about $30 to fill, which I have to do about once a year. It's equivalent to about 25 of those 14oz bottles. For me a lasts about a year, using the sodastream a few times a day. Best thing ever.
You can buy a tank new from a local airgas place, or often find one on Facebook Marketplace or craigslist for a lot cheaper. They swap out the tank every time you fill it, so no real reason not to buy a used one.
I use this hose, it works great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZP6TY18/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use an eyedropper bottle (and they came with a teeny tiny funnel to fill it) for Soda Stream's mango flavor because it's so damn strong. I use like 6 drops and it's hard to get that little, pouring from the original bottle. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z8L8BCS
So I transfer the whole bottle of Soda Stream flavoring into the eye dropper bottle, and then I put a tiny bit of water in the SS flavoring bottle to rinse it, pour that into my drink. So not really any wasted.
I got this one
I started to look into this, and I quickly came to the conclusion of, "why?"
You can buy caffeine pills for way cheaper than that liquid caffeine or any of the caffeinated flavors you can buy. That $8 bottle of pills has more than 2x the caffeine of the liquid (taking half pills), or you can buy 100mg pills and that $12 bottle is roughly 2.5x the caffeine content of the liquid.
So, in my opinion, you'd be better off just making a tasty drink and consume your caffeine in other ways. I get that it's less fun this way.
I get this "bulk" energy shot xmode. It is packaged like a box of wine and has 100 one ounce servings with 150mg. Price is comparable to the liquid caffeine, but not quite the same thing since it's flavored.
I've messed with this. Energy drinks are usually $1.50 - 3 bucks a pop for the 16oz so I figure making my own would be a big savings.
If you just want a highly caffeinated soda, that part is easy. You can buy liquid caffeine on amazon and add it to your soda, then use your syrup of choice.
It gets harder if you want the other "energy blend" ingredients in your energy drink (like taurine, guarana, etc) or if you want it to taste like an actual energy drink.
My shortcut when I'm lazy is just the Mio energy concentrates.
I use one like this; freeze the clynder for about 1hr(or more) before trying or you'll get a partial fill
Option 2 I think replaces everything below your index finger. For instance if you had this you would separate the quick disconnect from the black piece and re-use the QD.
Note that you also need to harvest an old valve and the pink washer from a used bottle for option 2.
Also, because they put that recess in it (kinda silly IMHO) you need to loctite the threads or it leaks (242/243 are safe for food gas).
I use option 2 because it was all that was available when I did the conversion, but I'd probably do option 1 today.
I've never even tried adding powder to SodaStream drinks, because I assumed that would happen. This caffeine solution looks like it would be the best bet, but I haven't tried it either. It's pretty expensive.
Maybe Orange Crush water enhancer? I've never tried it personally but I've tried some of the brands like Mio and Stur and some of the flavors are pretty good. https://www.amazon.com/Crush-Orange-Liquid-Water-Enhancer/dp/B07QH7LCM3
You can either do dry ice refill, or tank refill.
For dry ice, you'd need a good pipe wrench, dry ice, a freezer, a scale, and some oven mitts or something for the cold. You pre-freeze your empties, remove the top, add ~410g of dry ice, then re-cap.
For tank refills, you're going to need a donor tank, a refill adapter hose, wrench, gloves. The donor tank needs to have a siphon tube to work properly. The reason for this - CO2 exists as a liquid at the pressures inside the tank, and expands to gas on demand. You want to transfer the liquid CO2, not the gas. A siphon tube draws from the bottom of the tank, whereas a 'normal' tank draws gas from the top. There are specific steps to follow, the adapter should have come with directions.
The adapter hose is you need for this is something like this.
If you plan to use a 'normal' CO2 tank connected directly to the back of the SodaStream machine, you need a different hose, something like this.
Well gosh I feel like a nincompoop. Okay. So.
First, it appears that the item I ordered either didn't come with the mentioned brass adapter, oooor I accidentally threw it out. Do I definitely need that? I see in the video description he also links a "brass reducer adapter" is that the same thing?
I'm assuming the quick connect he shows is the linked one as well?
I have a drinkmate and use a 20lb tank with this adapter hose. Wish we had switched sooner! Love it, works like a dream, going strong for about 9 months now, at least 3 liters a day. I got our tank from Air Gas, it’s a regular food grade CO2 tank.
Alright, and just to double check:
(2) Go to an airgas store and ask them for a compatable CO2 canister
and for setup/use I will:
(1) attach the CO2 canister to the adaptor
(2) attach the other end of the adaptor to the machine itself
(3) untighten some nozzle or something
(4) press on the machine's pump button to shoot CO2 gas into my water

(also sorry if this is annoying I just like to be super sure about these types of things before spending money)
AFAIK Sodamod is only for paintball tanks. But you can get a different adapter for bulk CO2 tanks. I got this one and it works fine:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F3GL43B
That goes directly from my Sodastream Jet to a 5lb bulk CO2 tank.
You can see a video about this method here.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09MPVY426/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is what I use. Really like that its made from billet instead of casting or sintered. I think the seller is a member of the sub. I ended up grabbing my hose and CGA320 nipple of Grainger so I would know im getting something FDA approved and of good quality.
Trinity soda maker external large... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GIL5EUU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Their setup video shows a newer model with in line valves, this one is simpler, just screw on at both ends and you’re good to go. Never had a problem with it not having the valves I just make sure to shut it off at the tank and empty the line when I’m done filling.
You can buy fairly cheap ($10 - 20$) a reusable spigot that will screw on to the bag. I personally use one with a short hose on it, which makes it easier to use. No fuss no mess. Just open the box around the screw (it's perforated for just that purpose), screw on the spigot and no fuss no mess. I also dispense into a measuring cup and pour that into the bottle, but you can dispense directly into the bottle if you feel confident in getting the right amount.
The only thing to keep in mind is Coke products and Pepsi products use a different screw, so you'll need one specific to that.
I used connectors like this to couple with the connection in your picture:
And I'm not sure how durable you need: I reused the same dozen 2L soda bottles for at least 10 years. The caps turn out to be the weak point. And a decade of not buying new 2L bottles to just throw away felt very good.
Basically anything with a blue CO2 bottle.
Here are a couple examples.
I ended up grabbing this: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B079YCQZ3X?psc=1
Already comes pre-filled. I also called a brewery nearby and they said they will swap the empty tank for a full one plus a few bucks. So that's that.
I just need to buy an adapter now for my Duo Quickconnect.

I pour my soda into a Yeti insulated cup with lid and I use a straw that I put through the hole. Works great, keeps the drink cool for a long time, and I don't lose much fizziness. Any Yeti-style cup should work fine for this purpose. Five Below (here in the US) sometimes has Yeti knock-offs for about $5. Here is an example on Amazon:

and I got my 5 lb CO2 tank from a Home Brewery Mart. You buy the tank there for 85.00 and then bring it back for a refill for 25.00
Buy a 5, 10 or 20lb CO2 tank and an adaptor kit (I have this one). Excluding the initial outlay (it's a large upfront cost but it'll pay for itself in the long run), the actual CO2 costs about $1 per sodastream bottle refill.
Purchase a food-grade larger Co2 bottle which is much cheaper than the brand one and that one can be connected with the hose kit I found online.
Go buy a 60-liter one from Target or Bed Bath & Beyond. I connect it with the hose kit I found online with the machine.
https://www.amazon.com/ReeYee-Adapter-Stainless-connection-cylinder/dp/B09TVVYSKX/ref=sr\_1\_4?crid=1WW5JG2AVQEUF&keywords=reeyee&qid=1649872375&sprefix=reeyee%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-4
I usually purchase a 60liter carbonated bottle from Bed Bath & Beyond, which is cheaper than the smaller bottle. Then I connect it with the hose kit I found online with the machine.
I did get a regulator but abandoned the sodastreamer entirely and switched to carbonation caps(and require hose/adapter). Now I can just use any bottle with a standard cap(like any coke bottle) and can repressurize store bought drinks I haven't finished.
A valve isn't needed if you do it this way. Some people turn the tank off when it isn't being used, which I did for a while, but now I just leave it on. It's a SS Teflon lined hose that has a quick connect fitting on the Sodastream end.
There are several options. Some people just buy bigger thanks that are fitted for the soda stream.
I've been using this cylinder refill kit.
My setup required a $100 investment for a rental c02 canister, and $24 to fill it up. I attach 1 end of the 2 spout system to the c02 canister, and then the hanging one on to the sodastream canister. I have 3 sodastream canisters. I keep 2 in the freezer at all times. Easier to fill up. Slowly fill up the canisters. They turn off if you go too fast. Not hard to turn on, just have to restart the whole process. One of my best investments is sodastream with this setup.
The quick adapter that you unscrew from the SS cartridge screws into the metal bit (adapter). The hose/adapter kit i bought from Amazon ( Soda Stream CO2 Tank Cartridges CGA320 Adapter Hose with Accessories Direct Connect to Soda stream Make Machine https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F3GL43B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_ZBWX2E1HZS58EQPMA0JV ) was able to be used to connect to the metal bit that the valve is screwed into. I had to unscrew a piece off of the hose/adapter kit to make it fit in it but it works great.

Take an empty gallon jug to Walmart and fill it with there Reverse osmosis water filler machine for .45 cents. We drink RO water and love it also with our soda stream. You can buy a 5 gallon plastic jug from Walmart with RO in it for around 16.00 and bring it back when it's empty and refill it for $2.40 We have the gallon gug on our kitchen counter on a stand that we got on line. That works pretty good. I'm not getting paid to advertise Amazon products but that's where I found it.

I just purchased a Sodastream a month ago from Walmart, and they gave me the model with the screw in connector. I looked around locally where I live, and found a beverage company selling a brand new, filled 5lb CO2 tank for about $75. When the CO2 runs out I can take it back to them and they will refill it for $15. It works awesome. I bought a 5’ hose with the appropriate connectors from Amazon (for me, it was this one: Upgraded Soda Stream Adapter Hose... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HCPHBDC ), used my dremel to cut a little slot in the door of the Sodastream for the hose to come out of, and now we have been using it flawlessly since. Here is a pic of the setup: hose and tank installed
this is the one I've been using for the past 8 months. Only real issue is that you have to re-tighten it at the machine occasionally. I do turn off the gas at the tank after using it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F3GL43B/ref=cm\_sw\_em\_r\_mt\_dp\_EKX1NFQN24D2CP0505T2
I purchased a 5lb tank from a local beverage dealer that sells them specifically for the Sodastream. Cost me $75 for the initial tank (filled) and then I bring that tank back when it empties and he will refill it for $15.
Then I purchased this hose on Amazon (my Sodastream has the screw-on tank type) and it has worked flawlessly for the family: Upgraded Soda Stream Adapter Hose... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HCPHBDC
Thanks! For some reason, your link didn't work. And, if so, can I take my tank to the local Airgas store and get a new filled tank, buy the adapter/cable, a scale, and fill my own tank? Thank you.
Just use a cable to connect the 5lb directly to the sodastream. You'll need to remove the regular to do that as well.

Here’s the one I keep in my fridge: https://www.amazon.com/IKEA-Elderflower-Syrup-European-Concentrate/dp/B072QB39BL
It seems that ikea doesn’t keep listing for their syrups on their website. I’d definitely recommend not paying Amazon’s pricing if you can avoid it.
It screws into your non-Terra Sodastream, then you would plug a hose that has a quick connect on one end, and a CGA320 connector on the other end for a bulk CO2 tank. ie. you need more than just this if you don't already have the other hose.
They sell half liter bottles on Amazon. I can't finish a liter fast enough so I got a smaller bottle. When I pour it out, it almost all fits into a standard tall glass.

I use this hose with a 5lb food grade CO2 tank from Airgas. Its just as simple as hooking one end to the tank, one to the machine, opening the valve, and carbonating your water.
For Terra, because the new connection doesn't seem to have an
aftermarket replacement being made yet, then should be done a little differently
You need to take the valve from a Terra cylinder, then
adapter to that, and rest of hose etc. You can make the intermediate adapter yourself,
or someone made a nice one and selling on Amazon for $25. (It was posted a
couple weeks back.)

nice adapter, I made one that uses the valve that comes with the Co2 tank. The only worries I have for yours it the 800+ psi and 3D printed parts. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MPVY426?ref=myi_title_dp
I saw Drinkmate is partnering with Smartwater+ (part of Coca Cola) on Amazon now, hopefully they will move into Diet Coke syrup direction...then I can cusomize to make Diet Coke at home.
Do you mean this?

In both the Q&A and review sections, the Sodastream is mentioned several times (positively).
I ordered this hose for the machine and was planning to run a 5lb food-grade tank from Airgas to the machine. I am a little worried about pressure differential between the small SodaStream tanks and the 5lb but as long as everything goes right we should be rockin'.
I like my water fairly carbonated, so I go on the high end. The regular sodastream syrups are part sugar part sucralose. The diets are usually (but not all) sucralose. That's where you're probably getting the after taste from. It's kind of nasty tasting to me, but drink enough and you'll get used to it. The buble labeled essences don't taste that great to me either.
For flavoring, it takes a bit of experimentation to get something you like. Regular commercial sodas are actually fairly high on flavor, so you'd want to lean toward the max on the syrup if you're trying to do that.
You can buy BiB (Bag in Box) of regular sodas (you'll have to search around to find locally). An example is: https://www.amazon.com/Coke-Classic-Soda-Syrup-Gallon/dp/B00HE42V8Y/ref=pd_lpo_3?pd_rd_i=B00HE42V8Y&psc=1
It can be a bit expensive unless you have a source, and you don't really want the 5 gallon sizes unless you drink a lot of soda. 2.5 gallons usually does well for me. It's 1:5 for BiB (ie. 1 ounce syrup to 5 ounces water). Sodastream syrups are like 1:23.
For me, I've done a lot of lemonade + carbonated water, or done half and half soda and carbonated water (extends the soda and cuts the flavor a bit).
Technically you can with the proper adapter which another Reddit member has created and sales on Amazon.
A link in case you or anyone else is interested.

Also great (and cheaper!) are any water flavoring containers (such as Mio) that can be reused when empty.
Thanks . But wasn’t really what I had in mind. Will check out though…. That link did bring to this bottle though….
I got these droppers from another redditors suggestion. They work great and fit the bottles perfectly.
Year of Plenty Eye Droppers for 30ml Essential Oil Bottles (12-Pack, Multicolored); See below for list of compatible brands https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B082WD83ZK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WC6XY5STJPV2CMTBSSTH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BTI9Z8A/ Amazon makes it look like they're discontinued, but actually they appear and disappear arbitrarily, so keep an eye on them. I just bought some in October.
Have not tried it, but a quick Amazon search found this one, which has other artificial sweeteners but not sucralose.
If your sensitivity is stomach problems, IME other artificial sweeteners will not fare better.
Just got a Terra as a gift, ordered these and they fit.

This probably won't work out the way you think. It's not recommended to leave the hose pressurized on these machines (they're not really commercial grade). If something happens, you could lose your whole tank of CO2. So you'd want the ability to get to the tank to turn it on and off easier. But your wife may not want to do that to fill a single bottle.
That said, you'd need one of the bajillions of connectors for a bulk non-siphon CO2 tank to a standard sodastream. Don't get the Terra sodastream, it's got a new connector that is not compatible.
Metal hoses are less likely to burst, but it probably doesn't make a difference.
Have you tried using Honey? It is a couponing extension that works pretty well. I recently got 10% off a purchase of diet ginger ale syrup from SodaStream. I'm in the US though so I can't comment on retail discount in Australia.
I don't see the one I have on their website. The model I have is the following. It is important to get one that has the screw type canisters and not the new snap in ones, like the new Terra model does.
