Patriotism is romanticized and beat into you at a very young age in this country. Every sporting event has the national anthem from middle-school to the professional level. Every single college or pro event I've ever been to they honor the military in some way. Much of which is paid for by our government. Almost every public speaker acknowledges the military or end's a speech with "God Bless America". Yes the flag and national anthem represent what is actually beautiful about the U.S. but it also represents what ever bullshit we happen to be engaging in at any given moment. It represents the inequalities that we fail time and time again to fix. People need to stop acting like it's some sacred cow and start seeing it for its faults as well.

He is in the bottom three defensive centers in the league, which is an improvement from the prior season when he was the worst by a lot. Kanter absolutely gets torched in space, particularly on pick and rolls. According to defensive +/-, Kanter ranks 62/63 centers with only rookie Jahlil Okafor behind him. I love Kanter's offensive game and dedication to the team, but his defense limits his overall effectiveness. Kanter's value over a replacement player is only 0.1 and his defensive +/- is -3.1. Donovan used him to perfection last year by limiting his minutes and playing him against less offensively capable back-ups. But, the problem this season is that he doesn't have the defensive big help around him with Serge and KD gone. Let's hope he keeps improving, but he has a long, long way to go to be a passable defender.

Honestly, its not even his on the court stuff(although he did some great things on it). Him answering calls of teammates at the middle of the night, helping adams become a really good center in only a year, and was there to calm all of em down. We will all miss you big Perk!!!

You can make your own posters any size you want with a home printer using Rasterbator. It’s black and white unless you want to go through a lot of color ink but It’s a pretty cool look
