Yes, the more oval ones for the regular Golf vs. the rectangular ones for the GTI and R will work... Not sure what's available in your country but I got these for my '17 Golf 1.8T NAR... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074NZB9D8/ You'll see the GTI ones pictured under the "Consider this available item.." as an example of the ones you don't want.
Those are the best. Cost/build
Osrams are considered the best but the price is significantly higher.

Do you think this set would work for little diy tasks? I don't want to buy anything expensive.
i may have a $5 diy fix you can do at home. The mk7 platform has a notoriously clunky front end that seems to come from the front lower control arms. If you replaced with OEM and it did nothing im not entirely surprised. For me i just spray the bushings with a dry-silcone lubricant similar to this. 2 bushings on both sides.
you can do this yourself. Put the car in park and e-brake on and you can just turn the wheels full lock left and right to make space. i usually have to get down on a knee to get in there (make sure your e-brake is on!).
I have the exact same issue with my 2015 GTI which is the same platform, and many others. I had a mechanic check the subframe and suspension and nothing was loose. this spray usually works for like 6 months then i do it again. just spray it down good.
This post got me thinking, and I kind of want one too since I use my golf as a grocery getter. I found this one on Amazon that doesn’t look bad. Stainless Steel Brushed Chrome Rear Bumper Sill Cover Guard Protector for VW Golf Mk7 2015-2020 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083Y29RRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DRHFV5WTBJDBKTZFJ7KP
If you don't mind using adapters, go off the charts HERE, cheap is fine as long as the beam output is 3 out of 5 stars or higher then you know they were designed decently for reflector housings. This isn't 2014 any more, if you choose carefully, newer LED's have FAR less glare and are completely acceptable to use. I have the Katana's since I got them before my Golf and used adapters when I switched them over.
Now, if you just want ones to match the proprietary twist in power that VW/Audi uses without the hassle of adpaters, then search for "volkswagen h7 led" on Amazon or wherever and those that clearly show the 2 power prongs on the side of the heatsink will twist right in without adapters, and are $60-100. You'll also see the adapters for regular H7 to VW that you need for fitting regular H7's, if interested, with using that same search term on Amazon... I'm a total lighting geek if you have any questions, just LMK!
But if you can afford to just drop $100 and call it good for good low beams, just get the Lasfit that don't need adapters, like HERE and be done with it, hehe.
It's very, very, VERY picky with cables, period... THIS is the one that finally stopped ALL disconnections for me. Seriously, if this cable doesn't work, you have either a bad phone USB port or bad console USB port.
You misunderstand, you would need USB 3.1 level support from the source, the type of connector doesn't matter... Just get a high quality cable like THIS one, leave it plugged in and plug your USB C phone into it when you get in your car. Works great, no Android Auto disconnects or even FLAC audio dropouts.
Just use a quality 1.5ft cable and just leave it plugged in, no need to pull anything in or out constantly. I use THIS one and leave it curved around the gear selector so that my phone just sits on the open left side of that compartment.
Better cable, period... I thought I had tried like 4 different cables and still got random disconnects, was about to try to warranty claim the port... then I actually searched for "Android auto USB" on Amazon and found THIS one that works great. 100% solved the problem. Now, should it be that picky? No, but at least there is a solution
Not that brand, but used this alternative and worked fine (my coolant issues were not related to the fluids) - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FZGA8V0
This is what I have. It’s able to sit much much lower than the stock shifter, giving you shorter throws, and it’s 440g along with being covered in delrin, which doesn’t get too cold or too hot.
Oh sorry. To clarify I mean replacing with white halogen bulbs. Here's what I used...

I recently used a kit that worked really well on my wife's 12 year old Mazda that were much worse than that. They look brand new now and would use it on mine when the time comes. Cerakote

I started restoring headlights for people. I put this on my headlights and other cars I’ve restored.... works great! This looks like you could just get away with a polish and then a seal. But if there are pits wetsand starting with 600-800 grit and then work your way up to 2000 and then polish and then seal. There is also a spray sealant that works well but claims to only last a year. Good luck

I tried, broke one of the handles. Got the special tool to remove them and job was 100% easier.
All 4 handles act as retainers for the headliner, you need to remove them to be able to bring it down without damaging it, and to remove the handles you need a tool like this, otherwise you need to pry the pressure clips that hold them with two fine tipped flat head screwdrivers.
I don't have a link or pic of how they look but if you Google a bit you'll find more than one video explaining how they work (and one angry guy calling them overengineered POS over and over).
If the paddles are connected via the two pins these might fit but don’t quote me on that. They fit on my gti and they say golf r and r line too so might worth just checking how your paddles are attached on the wheel.
i completely agree. It doesn't stand out as much as i thought it would which is nice. is that the CTS front mount ?
if you're interested, i picked up this cheap bracket off amazon so i could raise up my license plate and open up the grill more. i think its way better this way: https://imgur.com/a/bLOMzEe
plugging the bumper holes and using a tow hook mount wasn't really an option for me.
I’m at about 18k on some cheap Godspeeds I got on Amazon with absolutely zero issues. Bonus points for a great track stance with next to zero wheel rub.

Best little purchase ever! Spray a solution down, scrub it and then use warm water with this and it gets the seats looking new!
I recently bought these for a different make car but I'm pretty sure they are all the same. They are BRIGHT, like daylight at night and I love them.

I use this one. I use it mainly on the back seat, but it works fine on the front as well.

The top bar comes off so you can just use the bottom two. It hooks up to the posts on your headrests and doesn't touch anything else on the car.
I have one of these. Clean look, blends well with the horizontal air vents, easy to attach/detach. Ideal if you have a phone case (just stick the metal piece to the inside) or put it directly on the back of your phone.
